This game could be 5*, but I have two major criticisms that hold it back. Energy is a very scarce resource. I can't play longer than 10 minutes without running out, and the two modes I can play without energy have reasons to why I won't play them much either. Spiral of Destiny is too confusing and not rewarding enough for the time investment, and the Tower is level gated and doesn't offer long to play either. The most fun part is the Clash, which for me is rare. Overall, a decent game.

Great visuals and impressive amounts of voice acting. A+ presentation. The combat is a pretty basic turn-based tactics system. Gacha seemed kind of shoehorned in, it didn't make sense to me relating to the story or to a tactics game. I was enjoying the story and then get teleported to some End Of Time-looking place and get prompted to open loot boxes. Not for me on principle unfortunately.

Fun but crashes. Like, a lot. Can't seem to even get to the second stage. They really need to fix this. If they do, this could be a great game. Very FFT like. Update: crashes like crazy on my Odin 2, especially when summoning. It doesn't crash on my phone (Pixel 6). Not sure what is going on here but I'll update to 3 star since the game is good.

So far it is a pretty enjoyable game. I don't feel pressured to buy anything but I have the option if I want to, there's no annoying ads, there's plenty of explanation for how combat and mechanics work, the story is immersive and interesting, the characters have such fun personalities, the music and sound effects are amazing, and the art style is so beautiful. Considering that this is a free, mobile game, Sword Of Convallaria is worth the time. I haven't regretted a minute.

True Turn Based RPG. The story is well written, voice acting is strong, gameplay is satisfying. Definitely worth trying. My one complaint is that around level 30 things have slowed down quite a bit. I understand they need to stagger content and I don't want to hit max level too quickly, but I worry about the late game grind that ruins so many games. I hope they will continue to deliver.

I am very much enjoying the game play and the fighting style of the game. I do have one small issue that I wish would be fixed in a later update. I would like to see different angles of the map so I can click on the grid square I want to move my unit to. It makes it difficult when I can't see from different angles and a character is covering most of the grid square I want to put them on. The feature is in a game call final fantasy war of the lions if you need a reference.

This game is great. Great graphics, great cut scenes, the combat is engaging as well as quick and easy, and it has a good story. They are also puzzles, so you don't get bored of endless combat. Also, don't really try to shove mircotransations down your throat. The game also gives a lot of rewards too. This is one of the games I'd spend money on to help the developers. To sum it up, this game does everything a phone game should do.

I love this! This is nearly a perfect strategy game... is what I was thinking up until I got to the part of "Draw 10". As much as I wish this was a console game, as opposed to a "gacha," there may actually be enough here to keep me on. The story, the game mechanics, the pixel art, illustrations, overall tone, and the music are all exceptional. The developers went to great lengths and put a ton of love into this game, and it definitely shows...

If you like Final Fantasy Tactics, this is the perfect game for you. Yes, it does have gacha elements, but the art and story are amazing. The localization is actually great, especially for a brand-spanking-new game. No awkwardly mistranslated dialogue like many other games. Plus, the gameplay itself is engaging and fun. It straight up teaches you how to use the environment to your advantage right from the first battle. Impressive as hell, all the way. The tutorial is a bit long, but who cares?

So far, it's hard to say anything bad outside of the monetization structure and no English voice casting, but even then, I can look past that. I'm having fun playing with "outlaw" and "recruited" units when everyone else wants to use ONLY the legendary units. There's plenty of story, and so far enough energy pots to keep you going if you got some extra time to grind. Otherwise I have to recomend this. Your legs will fall asleep on toilet tho.

I truthfully don't experience all of these crashes and glitches that I see so many complaints about. So the game as been pretty fun for me so far. I love Spiral of Destinies! The story is exceptional, and I love the pixel art. I do have one small complaint, that being the fact that in The Fool's Journey, you are unable to grind levels/over-level. The only way I have found to be atleast at level/one level above my opponent are the trials. Still, you don't get exp from replaying story levels :/

The game has gorgeous pixel graphics and beautiful scenery. Fun and engaging stages. The background music is high quality and fits the rpg theme. The battles seems simplistic but it's too early to speak of depth. It does however offer enjoyment. The writing is ok but a little too loose. Things just happen. Some parts are contrived and things dismissed. Localization is better than most, not perfect. Overall a good game I'll continue to play. I'd also ignore the 1 star reviews. Try the game first.

The art and presentation are nice, but I find myself not having fun. There are just too many things. Menus, notification dots. It's not a streamlined experience to keep you focused on the gameplay. It's more focused on keeping you enamored, with flashy animations and the menus unlocking characters getting achievements all for the endorphin rush. I just want to play a tactics game.

This one is definitely not for everyone. But anyone who knows this genre and style will love it. It does everything right. Music, gameplay, story are all incredibly well done. Only issue we are having as of now is the stability. The game will often freeze, crash or be unable to connect to the server. When it's working, it's great. But the bugs that cause it to crash are frustrating to say the least. Otherwise it's a perfect game.

Amazing so far, combat feels good, and the game has a lot of different things to do and focus on. Some of the missions require actual strategy to complete, and that is a huge plus for me. I like auto mode, but I also want there to be challenging missions every so often. Units feel unique and skill trees, so they are not just using whatever skills you start with or unlock. The skill tree selection actually adds to your strategy.

I like games that are anywhere close to final fantasy tactics, even if it's a stinky gacha game. This tries to do its own thing, but not in the best way. The story is pretty decent, but it's locked behind a stamina system. The auto battle is pretty mediocre since your pawns gather around an explosive barrel, just to blow it up on themselves, maybe taking out one enemy with them. You can't face a direction after moving or attacking, but it has a "back attack" mechanic. Good, but needs some work.

Seems like a phenomenal game for SRPG fans. Customization, unique skills, choosing your team, which varies in size per map. Everything I've wanted in a mobile game for a long time. But it's a game that requires resources to play, summon, enhance equipment. It's easy to tell, and you will always be lacking unless you pay. A game that cuts you off after a couple hours of gameplay due to a lack of energy is not going to be F2P friendly.

I think the store is really well made and the graphics are superb. It's really a heartbreaking story at first, but it gets better. One issue right now is with the freezing. Stage 0-6 is a perfect example I think because of the fire effects. I had to restart that one a whole bunch of times to get through it. It's frozen a few other times as well. I would love to give it a 5★ , as I like both the art style and story very much. Character designs are great and music choice is solid. I have been playing for 4 days now and can't really find a fault towards any gameplay stuff. What is holding me back is constant freeze issues. The game badly needs more optimization. I am facing constant freeze almost every session I try to play. Please optimize it so we can enjoy it to the fullest and praise the game more that it truly deserves.

The intro was solid, the pixel art is beautiful, the music is great, the combat is quick and fun. The very first menu option introduced was summoning, which is not a great way to introduce new players. Gacha systems are designed to drain your wallet. Since I've only played two main missions before being prompted to review, it's hard to give any analysis beyond what I've seen.
