It has a lot of potential. I loved the story, the choices, everything... Except the combat. It's usually one sided, the opponents can/will endlessly attack you and defending does nothing once you're exhausted. Once you die... You start over with a new character. Combat ruins this game and the creators/developers have given up on the game. Just check out the last time the game was updated for proof.

I love the aesthetic of the game and the combat is fun - but sometimes I feel cheated when my attacks don't connect for no reason, and when I get stun locked only to get jabbed at until my shield gives out. I also feel that the inability to move your character on your own accord can lead to disadvantages in the battle. Overall the game is challenging and exciting, I can't wait to see how it grows in the future!

Definitly a gem, super fun and generally fair (assuming you don't bite off more than you can chew) but I wish if a mission were difficult for you currently it would have an icon. The tutorial also only appears once and doesn't tell you what shield bashing and energy does (even with the "brotherly advice" area). While the learning curve can be a bit difficult and the game can be quite challenging, its quite fun and has a pretty good story! The reptetition is the only permanent problem really

If you're into Vikings/Norse culture, you'll love it. If not, it's definitely not for everyone. I like the choose your own adventure feel with the branching stories, and how it keeps everything relatively believable. I like that you get one life, definitely makes it challenging, and it's cool that every character is added to a "graveyard" (basically high scores). The graphics are decent, very stylized but pretty easy to not be turned off by if you like the gameplay and have imagination.

I've been playing this game on occasion for years, and it has yet to disappoint me. I know a lot of people complain about it either being easy or impossible. That moment when you finally beat Broadblade, or steal the entire treasure at Lichen Hills is indescribable. Some battles are meant for you to know the enemy like an old nemesis, not just a random encounter. You'll die a whole lot, and you learn the strengths and weaknesses of certain encounters. Good stuff! Cheers!

The controls are extremely simple, it's like a text adventure game yet it has a unique aspect to it. I honestly played for an hour straight before doing anything else. I haven't seen any ads and it's so simple to use and control. My only wish is that there's different options for when you start. Beginning in the same place can get boring. but hasn't for me yet

This game has a very unique feel to it. It's very simplistic yet very complicated. I don't like the fight mechanics though. Like what one reveiw said, it has flaws with opponents bashing on you, and you can't really do anything about it. The story alone is great, but the aging seems a little too fast to keep up with both the story and fights. Lots of potential nonetheless. Keep making different places and aspects of the game.

The story is decent, there are a large variety of perks to chose from, you can upgrade your equipment and best of all, this game is NOT pay to win, you can definitely have a very enjoyable experience without paying money. One of the drawbacks for me is the combat system, there have been times where I've lost against NPC's that are 2-3 levels lower then me, the fighting mechanics are straightforward but at times the fights are too fast paced for you to be able to respond appropriately.

I think this game is pretty amazing. I played it a while ago, but just redownloaded it since I had such an experience with it. The graphics are pretty cool in my opinion nothing flashy, pretty standard but they fit really well. The controls are a little tough at first but it's easy to get used to. The gameplay seems really unique; it's like a rogue like rpg, based in viking times with a nice atmosphere, and cool environment. All in all I gave it 5 stars but its closer to a 4.5

Disappointing. The first bit of this game was phenomenal, honestly, everything I'm looking for in a mobile RPG. But, the combat was unwieldy - opponents spamming attacks. If this was adjusted to become turn-based combat (not a simple task, I understand) I thinkit would be perfect, rivaling even some ofthe big name PC RPGs.

A fun game; I love how you get to decide your own character's morals. The problem is games are quite repetitive and differ much in the beginning. You can die at any time and generally lose (in an upset) when the enemy spam attacks you. I lost my level 7 hero in a side quest fight with a level 2. I give this game 7.5/10.

I love this game, even the sparse graphics are cool. My only issue is how damn challenging this game is. Maybe I just suck, but I've been playing nonstop for the last like 48 hours and I've only got to level 7 😥😂. Enemy attacks sometimes spam out and it becomes damn hard to interrupt. Other than that this game satisfies a need for a hack and slash sword and shield game. I love the control schematics, and the ragdoll kills are great.

Love this game, but there are a few rare times where the stats of you and your opponent are simply completely incompatible and neither fighter can win. Unless you give up completely, you're locked in an infinite battle with no way out. Really sucks when you have a good run ruined by this, otherwise it's a good game. I wish there was a way for a fight to end in a stalemate on the occasion that the two fighters are incompatible like that because it ruins a good run having to just kill yourself.

This game is actually surprisingly good. Uncluttered graphics, simple but realistic combat, and satisfying, interesting quests are all keys to making a good combat RPG on and this one has all of them. I would be interested to see a Late Medieval Italian version with longswords, halberds, partisans, sideswords, Montante, etc. and perhaps a few more attacks and defenses, since shields would no longer be in as extensive use; the sword & buckler or longswords being common alternatives.

Fun, little confusing, but fun. Difficulty can spike pretty quickly if you don't know what you're doing or if you don't complete the right quests in the right order, which can be an issue since there's really no indication of when and where you should go. I reccomend giving it a shot because like I stated this is a fun game.

This game has most things you can ask for in a game. I really like this game, and character death makes the game a challenge that most games lack. Another thing is the combat. When I started, it made no sense, but after I beat a level 10 darkness monster, I feel I understand the combat system, and it's really unique. Great game.

Confusing combat system, basically whoever lands the first hit chains 4 more and either kills you or wounds you if you're lucky crazy AI who perfectly counter everything you so quickly that there's no way a human could compete. extremely grindy to get a half decent character going before you lose all that work to the cracked AI The difficulty curve is instant 0 to 100 One second,you cut down an ai that won't fight back next. You're getting slaughtered instantly when you enter hit range
