I love this app; it's very useful and fun. I've yet to have any troubles sending or receiving messages, or even calling from within the app. I love the different themes available to be able personalize it to your liking. However, I do wish that they would add more options for personalizing the inbox as a whole, and the messages individually for each contact.

The app is great, the themes are wonderful, the ad's are necessary, I get it...what I don't get is the inability to move on with a text after watching a ad which tries to FORCE me to play a game I DON'T like before I can resume with texting!! Nice try but, however, I'm looking for something that will play your ad and be done. Uninstalling.

Without a doubt Switch is the slickest SMS App I've ever used. Operates smoothly, rare for an app with skins. Usually the SMS Apps most focused on a slick design fail to put the same effort into it's operation, but haven't had a single glitch with Switch. (Rhyme not intended) Some Ads do pop up, but honestly there aren't as many as you'd think with an app like this and unlike other apps, the Ads are easy to exit out of. That's a first for sure. Great app, lots of fun!

I'm giving this app a 3 because I like the different customization options that it has. However, after using this app for about a week, it started not wanting to send texts, and saying a text is still sending when it wasn't. Another issue is when I reply to a message, my message disappears from the screen. I have to get out of the app, then get back in, in order to see my message. It let's extremely aggravating.

Tried it for about a month. Features are nice, but it can be very slow, buggy, and crashes occasionally. Eventually uninstalled because the ads are just too intrusive. If it was stable and the ads were more passive, I would give it 4⭐. The reason it wouldn't be 5 is because the gifs require you to open a separate app window and some of the features are formatted in a way that requires other users to have this app as well for correct viewing/functionality. Nice try fron the app authors tho.

Installed about 2 hours ago, and it's ok. However, I'm not sure if it's lacking user friendliness or just lacking features. I'd like to be able to set my own backgrounds from images in my gallery, as well as customize the styles and colors of chat bubbles, but I don't see any settings for these things. Instead I see links to download themes, but I don't want to do that, as the selection is quite small. Adding a private box would really be great as well. I'd like to see these suggestions implemented into the app. It would be a great incentive to change my rating to 5 stars.

Installed on an LG V20. Lots of colorful themes available, but most of them are rather juvenile. I really like sliding individual messages to the left to reveal store/move/delete options for that message. You can change bubbles, but not individual send/receive - they change as a pair. Good selection of fonts and colors. Probably the most annoying thing is that half the typing field is taken up by a dopey face and "cute bunny" icon. If I could find a way to get rid of those, I would buy it.

The update: a lot of afditions, but audio notification doesn't work. The simple colors for the app seem to be gone. Nice. Don't like it sounding off everry 25 seconds if you don't read text. Also don't like being prompted all the time to rate it. Update, I've NO audio or visual notification that a txt has been sent OR received, making it useless.

Just purchased a couple hours ago, and had the chance to give it a 'test' run, and all I can say is, "I really want to love this app," but even with the cool features it already has, it's still missing some things that I think are necessary! I would love to see the developers add select/delete all features, as well as, fingerprint security to the "for your eyes only," feature, for starters. All-in-all, I'd say it's a decent app, with great potential, so far - MINUS messages not sending!!!!

It is a great program, but it does need to be fixed for texting. Sometimes the text will not scroll up automatically and I don't know if there is a new text line unless I scroll up to see if anything new was added. Once that is fixed it will be well worth it. Few other bugs. I have a screen caption of three quarters of my text program whited out, and when you are texting a person and turn the phone sideways to take a picture it doesn't store the picture to memory to send to the person.

**Update** I don't know what happened during the last update but there is a MAJOR lag when loading the app, getting into conversations, & sending texts. All contacts no longer show their name, but rather only the first letter of a name. The lag & glitches are enough that I'm considering getting rid of the app, though I've loved it up until recently. It would have been nice to have emailed this issue from the app rather than changing my rating, but that feature isn't in the settings anymore.

I like the app and paid for the ad free version but the changes I make to the theme such as font, font color, bubble style doesn't stay. It just reverts back to the default. Especially the font color. It's really frustrating. Especially because I noticed the themes I like don't really have message bubbles that differentiate in color and style between sent and received messages. Because of this I cannot tell between a sent or received message bubbles.

Love the concept, and I can easily use my Bitmoji stickers. I like that I can download wallpapers to my gallery then use them as customized backgrounds for each chat. I do wish there were more bubble options and text colors to choose from, though. And for some reason, there is a delay when I try to pull up a conversation or send a text. I hate the ads of course, and I was glad to see there is a paid version. However, it's like $15 which I think is salty. I would pay $5 - $8 maybe.

Worked great when I first installed it. Then around the beginning of March, it quit working. program does not notify me that I receive text messages anymore. the only way I would know I got a text message is if I was looking at the screen when it came in. now that doesn't even work. one of the menu options is notification problems - should be a hint. links to phone settings, which when I went to find that in addition to the 20 or so random message cues it is looking at, 80 more were deleted

I love the app. My fav things in it are being able to customize each contacts wallpaper and being able to pin those contacts you talk to the most. I would just love to be able to use my own picture on the main screen. I also wish there were more font choices and was able to change the color. There need to be more theme options also. I would definitely pay the $12.99 if there were more customization features.

It has potential, from the reviews I've read the developers are quick to fix and respond. But I uninstalled it ultimately because it lacked a sophisticated UI. Themes are good and all, but I personally rather just have a clean looking User interface than the ability to put pictures of palm trees in the background of the app I'll probably try again in a year or so to see what's updated.

I'm enjoying this app. The appearance of the conversations is striking! I would love it if I could have the text pop up on the screen when I get it rather than having to open up the phone to see it. But I do love the app! It's fun. 02/17/19: update: for some reason I can't use any notification sounds more except stock, and even those aren't working. I'm deleting app because I found something else where I can use sounds I like.

I left go sms because it had too many issues they weren't fixing. I got this app and liked it because of the many beautiful themes, but im annoyed at the fact that the same message appears multiple times over and over again in the pop up window and no matter how you go about it, the notification sound or light will not work. Not sure if I'll keep this app. I'd really like too, but if no improvements are made I will uninstall.

I love the look, but mms doesn't work. When ppl send group messages, I get everything individually, outside the group. People also can't send me pics in group messages. This really makes the app quite useless, so I'm going to have to change. Haven't heard back from support yet. I have a note 9, and the problem has been going on for months, although it recently got worse. I wish they'd fix it and also add a search feature; then the app would be perfect!

Honestly, I really want to give this a good review. It's beautiful and mostly customizable (I would suggest the ability to change bubble color). That being said... I've noticed (after purchasing a lifetime access) that in group conversations, it is difficult to impossible who sent what incoming messages. It'll show a bubble with text with their name, but it's directly behind the incoming message or picture. The avatar for each message is a collage of all conversation members. Please fix this.
