It's an alright story telling game. No actual action gameplay. Just mainly text chats with different characters in the game about different situations you have to take care of as President of this made up country. Unfortunately, you get to a point where it tells you to buy the full game. Funny enough this is just where things start to get spicy as well. So it's definitely tempting.

This game is great. I got really into it, I actually played my first run really well. I had a lot of fun. However there are something's I would like to see changed. First and most easy, I wish I could customize the name of your character. I'm actually really hesitant to play again. For my next run I'd like to play as someone authoritarian. But I grew so attached to Anton Rayne that I don't think I can tarnish his name. I built this character to be one way, to change it feels so wrong.

I love the game, but I wish there were a quick play mode. A mode where you can set your policies all at once and then see the results as time goes by. Once you have done the story a couple of times, it just becomes annoying to do over again and very, very time-consuming. I would just like to set all my policies all at once (with the ability to adjust budget decisions as time goes) and watch how it all unfolds.

To say this game drew me in is an understatement, i couldnt stop playing and trying to make the best outcome for the people of my country. I was putting at least an hour into every session of play and i finished it in around 5 real days. This game and its structure, its writing was the best ive seen on this platform. Its a complex and extremely interesting story of politics, corruption, stuggles, war, trade. Incredible. Ill be having a second playthrough. I hope to see more from Torpor Games!!!!

After multiple attempts just to make it to my 2nd term I finally did. Sadly regardless of that outcome the game ends. After all it takes to get to that point it's really disappointing. Maybe it's assumed the difficulty of the game might keep most from reaching the second term but for those that do it feels like losing anyway. You should be able to go as far as your decisions will take you as President. It should be more clear once it's time to purchase that it ends after the 1st term.

I have to say that Suzerain is one of the best political simulation games I've ever played. The storyline is so well-crafted and engaging that I found myself completely immersed in the world and its characters. The choices I made felt like they had real consequences on Sordland, which made each decision all the more impactful. The level of detail and complexity in the game's mechanics is impressive, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys strategy games.

Great game, a lot of fun. The world is well crafted and the gameplay is a lot of fun. My only real criticism is that when offline it doesn't seem to know weather you bought the full game or not. I wish it would let you go for a second term but I realize that would probably take a lot of effort so I undestand why you can't. Other that that it's great.

Best leader of a nation game ever! Better than Rebel Inc., better than MA 2 President simulator! It is detailed, yet not too complicated. I also love how it is a text-based game! I have one request to the devs though, please put ads on the game that would give you the equivalent amount of earnings you would get from someone buying the full game, so that us freebies can get the full experience. Speaking for my self, the whole game free would be well worth watching through a ads.

Fantastic game.. gets r stars it would be better with more options as far as alliances go and ability to change policy more frequently loved the story My game indeed with impeachment unfortunately would have loved to continue for an additional term but didn't have the option for that.. it took me 6 hours to complete the game definitely not something you can pick up and put down but I like that about it it was extremely immersive! Not too many bad things about it just wish it was alittle more..

I found the story really engaging, and I enjoyed being president. The game is worth buying, and the free storyline gives you plenty of time to decide that for yourself. Like others, I wish some decisions could be made on-the-fly rather than based on conversation. That would probably require much more dev effort to progress the story according to the on-the-fly decisions, so i understand why it isn't that way.

Learning the game is rough, setting policy promises before knowing the state of the country and countries you will have to work with can create a variety of policy conflicts unintendedly. I think having a bit more guidance in the beginning about what policies synchronize well would lessen the learning curve quite a bit. Would also appreciate savestates for multiple playthroughs. Very good game overall though, I look forward to updates to give this 5 stars.

Thoroughly enjoyable and well written. Reminds me of the old Choose Your Owwn Adventure books. Lots of replayability to try all the different paths out - I'm already on my second time through trying some subtle changes to my previous choices to see if I can come up with a better outcome. Thank you to the developers for adding in the ability to mute the game sounds/music.

The game is great but could really use an option to reverse a decision if you accidentally press a prompt you didn't mean to or at least a confirm feature that asks you if you're sure you want to proceed. I accidentally invested in Bergia when I really meant to invest in Lorren and now I have to start a new game and invest an hour or more just to get back to the point where I left off to make that decision. It's really frustrating that there is nothing you can do about a mis input.

Exceptional work by the dev team. I've expected the game to be much smaller and quicker - it's wonderful how much content they have created. I yet have to complete my first game but am already looking forward to exploring different choices. Also great to show the trade-offs politicians have to make to align budget, political direction/promises and economy. Also, after having seen other reviews: I think it's great that you can't "undo" or get a full walkthrough of what is expecting you.

An absolute brilliant gem of a game! I'm a Gen X with decades of love for both RPGs and Simulators and this is one of the greatest that I've got in Google Play store, easily. Very rich dialogue, full of personal choices that affect your game play in profound ways... I lost a day playing it, for two totally different endings with all kinds of surprises, each time. (I really needed the break too, thanks, heh)

Best choice based text game I have played. Although I experienced a full range of emotions playing this and legitimately felt fatigue some points navigating the choices and the reputations I didn't anticipate. I very much loved the game. I will be replaying this to see if the ending is fixed or not. I honestly can't say enough about how this game made me think and feel.

Very immersive and well thought out, but the fact that you can only make policy changes or talk to other political leaders/advisors when the game allows you to instead of doing it when you want via the codex feels limiting. The game gives you so many options of alliances and possible policy platforms but then doesn't let you explore them, aside from giving you infrequent events where you can make choices. I definitely recommend it regardless, but it could be even better.

I really like the idea of this game, but I wish it would pick up the pace of the text a little more. If you don't have a peaceful 10 minutes for one interaction, you won't be able to progress. OR god forbid you grow impatient and try to tap the screen to progress quickly, you'll wind up tapping on some ridiculous prompt because you're able to select an option before it's fully visible. I think for that reason alone, there should be an immediate undo button. OR fix the interface but thats harder.

Fantastic game, very thought out and detailed. My only complaint is the game ends after 1 term even after winning the 2nd election, a lot of choices are very limited and with the frequency of events that's not a lot of time. Starting out with such powerful presidential powers but the game doesn't let you utilize them. You can not make or push policies on a whim nor enact or address certain ones that don't line up with what you are doing. Has a lot of potential and look forward to future updates

This game is absolutely Phenomenal! The Story telling is great, and can really express just how important some decisions are! The OST also does a great job of displaying the stress that being the "democratically elected president" of Sordland can be! This game also offers various paths - these paths offer various ways to handle things, and every little speech could have massive ramifications if you don't watch your words. If it was up to me, this game would get editor's choice. 10/10.
