the constant adds sucked, but all in all it's an idle game. not really a whole lot to do, just install it play for a few minutes then forget about it for about a week, then get back into it and advance. not saying that's negative aspect, I mean it is an idle game, just very very repetitive. but I did enjoy the concept behind it. I didn't give it more than three stars for the simple fact of the constant ads really sucks.

You have to watch ads to reset your chefs for bonuses or to get extra things, but when you click the prompt to watch the ad, it won't load. Then it doesn't give you another opportunity until you close the app, reopen, and wait a few minutes. I don't mind to watch ads to get bonuses and progress within the game, but if you're going to rely on that then you should ensure it works properly.

A very simple idle game with an endgoal (unlock all the sushi stations). This is only of the very few games that have zero pay to win mechanics, in fact it has no mechanics to pay for. A lot of people complain about ads, but progression can be made without viewing them. Let the game idle until you gain a level then you might have to watch a skippable ad. The other issue is balancing. It is best to save up for the most expensive food at each station then buying them individually as the cook only prepares the four most costly foods.

A visually appealing, bland idle experience. There are ads at every turn (my advice is to play in airplane mode, as the torrential flow of ads makes it nigh unplayable otherwise). The graphics and flow are very nice, but there is absolutely no sound for some reason. The actual game is unrewarding, with limited upgrades that for some bizarre reason render each other irrelevant. Between the ridiculous ads and the lackluster game, I'm calling this one a bust.

The app itself is pretty okay. A good time waster and I can tell it has the potential to be very addicting. However, it was a little...janky when it comes to the ad-based rewards system. If I tried to click on the ad button to get a flashy power up or reset my chefs in favour of faster production, it would click, darken the button registering the click, but then not have anything else happen. When I tried to triple my level up reward, it would simply close the window and give me nothing.

Sushi Bar is amazing...especially since I love Asian culture and cuisine. Very addictive and easy to learn, but the ads tend to become a little repetitive. I'm not complaining about them because I understand the need for them. I'm just saying seeing the same 25 seconds(or more)of the same game advert is sooo...frustrating. especially if you already have the game installed. Besides that little..tiny 'issue' the game is a wonderful way to waste time especially to avoid awkward conversations.

The UX is pleasing, but I cannot understate how disappointed I am in the fact that no sound design went into this app at all before publication. The purpose and uses of sound design are many, and without it, Sushi Bar is entertaining for only as long as the user can stand gaping silences being broken only by advertisements, should they choose to watch them. With solid sound design, I would easily give this app a 5. Without it, it simply doesn't keep the interest of the user for very long.

i love idle games but this one makes you watch an ad everytime you level up (which you manually have to do). i know it makes sense because they have to make money. but this many ads is really annoying especially in the beginning when you can level up like 16 times in a day. it's just kind of annoying. also you have to reach level 25 before anything really new happens. just kind of boring. a shame because i love sushi.!

Looks fun and wish I could play, but none of the controls work. Can't click on the chef or even the options button. Hope you fix it soon. Update 2/27 : I'm able to play now, but only during the day. the controls lock at night where I can't click anything. It usually happens between 10pm and 8am EST. So strange. But the game is fun. I hope more levels come soon. I'm on the second to last city.

Used to be great, but since the ad to do VIP started launching, my game gets frozen. It won't let me close the ad and I have to force close the game, which also makes me lose all progress I've made. So if I come back 4 hours later and that ad won't close, I know I've lost all progress already. Or maybe that was the point of it - join VIP and this won't happen anymore. Kinda lame if that's why my game freezes on it.

This idle clicker is taking part in some really shady practices. In February I downloaded this and found it enjoyable enough to pay for no ads, which at the time was $4.99. starting a few weeks ago the app started pushing ads in the form of getting bonuses. fine, i guess. i then opened the app to find there were ads playing in the level up screen. i bought no ads, and now they've changed it to no ads for a subscription. terrible

I really enjoy this game. It is relaxing and not too complex. My only complaint is that some of the prices (of the sushi, speed, price constant, seats, etc.) are way too high and take days to obtain (even with using the bonuses obtained by ads). This is especially frustrating when you have to buy these things dozens of times. It takes weeks just to get 4 of the most expensive sushi of one chef. However, besides this issue, the game is fun. I love the theme and the music/sound is pleasant.

Edit: Uninstalled. Took way too long to aquire money, only to buy one upgrade. I grew bored. Made it to level 88 or so, nice concept, but poorly executed. Way too many ads! The game is fun and the concept is fun, but every single button I hit there seems to be an ad. I dont mind watching them, but every minute is absurd. The Level Up button hardly works and I have to hit it multiple times for it to register.

Tons of ads! I've learned how to survive the ads; just start one and do something else. You have to look at the game very often. If you max the speed, price, and number of customers, you can be racking up millions of points in short order. Four stars because once you've upgraded those three things, there's little to do except watch points accumulate.

Everybody keeps saying about the ads, but I haven't experienced a single ad. Instead, my game seems to have refused to let me interact with it. I can't scroll across the table or click on anything, including the settings or level up buttons. I've tried force-stopping the game, but it's still doing it. It seems like a fun game if I could still play! Edit: It's letting me play again, but I hope it doesn't do this again...

Overall, the game is a neat idea. However, I think it'd be better with a few things: There's no sound at all. A simple music track would do good. The chefs seem to not really have as much progression as I'd hoped in the upgrades (at least as far as I've played) so it'd be better if they knew more preparations of their trade. Other than that, its a good time killer app and relaxing to watch the plates of food go around on the conveyor.

There are way too many ads in this game. It's one thing to have ads which you can watch to get bonuses. But there's an ad popup basically every time you level up and sometimes when you're upgrading stuff. On top of that, the buttons to voluntarily watch an ad for a bonus sometimes don't work. This game is also not very interesting. It would be so much cooler if you just had one sushi bar, but could customize it and decorate it.

The game itself lacks any kind of sound; when you do get sound, it is an ad. Ads are ridiculously frustrating, and frequent. What ticks me off, is when I opt not to watch an ad for x3 revenue, and it forces me to watch an ad for x1 revenue. Tack on the fact that the x3 button, doesn't work sometimes. It's only real saving grace is, that it is, for some reason, easy to zone out to. 3 chefs, all produce 3 very differently priced meals per belt; it frustrates me that I can't make them all equal.

It quickly becomes an ad simulator when you're trying to make any progress, too easy to blow through resources. Left the game alone for months on end, then came back, and collected the huge sum of money I have earned while I was away. In a one minute of playing, literally went through all my money upgrading. One minute, then it becomes an ad simulator. I've been spending more time on 20 second ads for more money and stuff than the actual game itself. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

The game is overall a good game In terms of the art style is good. But at the start to get to anything you have to watch ads now I have respect for game devs as debugging, textures, programming, etc So most of the time I watch ads out respect (even if I don't get anything out of it rewards etc) but in this case it's very obvious it's watch to win way to many ads (at least it's not "forceful" ) I'm to lazy to look at grammar so sorry for that.
