I'd love to give more stars but this game crashes too often. And every time it does, I restart the game and there's a message telling me to rate the game. Devs, everyone knows you can set the game to stop showing those messages when someone chooses "NO". Learn to take a hint already. It would suddenly close whenever an enemy spawned right on top of me. The spiders were the most common. I don't know if it was lag or some kind of bug. The please rate us box would pop up after. Every. Time.

All in all, a pretty good game. My biggest issue is the action button. There were a few times I was fighting a shark on the shore, and my character casually started fishing. Also, there are times in the cave where a slime or spider can attack you, but you can't attack due to the xy coordinates (he'd hand wave instead). My biggest issue is that I bought 75 potions, then did the reset after beating it, and the potions were removed. I'd've thought the purchases would persist across resets

So far (about 20% done according to progress tracker), I'm really enjoying this game. It's cute and straight-forward. I do wish the movement controls for your character had WASD or arrow-key based options rather than only clicking the directional pad or 360-degree option on screen. Overall, this is a nice bit-o'-everything game: gather, explore, craft, fight some mobs....

All in all it's a great game. My only problem is that it's a little slow. Going through the game itself is fairly quick, but going through the levels and what you have to do makes it seem that much slower. I would recommend adding things like pets, time played bonuses, loot such as sunken treasure or barbarians/humanoid creature 'settlements', etc. Other than that, like I said, great game

A simple RPG game where the majority of the activities revolve around finding/waiting for items to respawn, crafting, and fighting -- good for approximately 6 hours of playing time. On the one hand, Survival RPG is a decent puzzler that's worth the $2.99 I spent to purchase the Speed Boots. On the other hand, it has very little personality, requires too much grinding (unless you constantly watch ads), and has zero replay value. Ideal for taking one's mind off things, if nothing else.

5 stars well earned. Was skeptical at first but this was a VERY well made survival game with the perfect balance of crafting, exploring & fighting without leaning towards any more than others. I wish there was a hardcore mode where you lose some or all items on death. Without a death penalty there is no fear of death and can be abused as a free teleport. PLEASE MAKE MORE!!!!!

Its ok. The build tree is pretty good, the graphics are acceptable, the fight mechanics are not good. Not much in the way of indications if you hit or have been hit so you need to just stare at the healthbar. The move mechanics are such that enemies can corner you against a flat wall and cant run away which just kills you over and over. It looks like there is a sequel to this game, maybe that one will have fixed these issues.

It's a fun game. So far my only issue is that there are no visual cues as to what time it is, other than the clock. The lighting seems to be monotone, until 9 at night when it suddenly dims into nightfall, and you're surrounded by snakes. I do like that nothing is lost when you die, it cuts down on the stress of accidentally staying out too late.

A short but really fun game that has 2 modes, regular and challenge mode. But I'm not here to talk about that. I'm here to talk about how fun the game was, I like how you start stranded and slowly expand from one island to multiple islands, the bosses were alright, the gameplay was fun, but a little tedious. And I played offline, since its allowed, so I didn't get to experience ads. But other than that, great game, I definitely reccomend this game.

Very well done! A fun to play little adventure game. Not overly complicated, but not so simple that it might as well be a visual novel. Some of the item gathering aspects may be a bit tedius for some, but it doesn't drag on and on. Can be completed in a very reasonable ammount of time. Thouroughly enjoyable. Look forward to more games from this team. My one major gripe about this game is that the menus hit-boxes take too many taps to register.

Cute, super fun little game. Non intrusive ads. I bought...something (lol, don't remember what), which stops the popup versions, but I bought it to help the dev, rather than for ads. Good difficulty ramp. I have a few issues with controls (I die a lot because my character isn't facing the monster), but I haven't played a console game since 1979, so I'm sure it is me. Looking forward to the rest of the series:)

Very minimal ads. Great that it's not heavy on storage or battery. Play as long or as short a time as you want with unlimited lives, and it'll auto-save. I've never played this type of game before so i don't have much to compare it to but it was a nice intro. I thought it was slow moving in the beginning when i spent time walking around the same area for supplies. It was nice to have free hints since i ended up using a couple when i felt stuck wandering.

This game was a fun play through. Plenty of crafting and exploring. The pacing was quick enough to keep things interesting, and I never felt it got too grindy. Ads play at well chosen times when you aren't in combat. Happy with the gameplay and the controls. The sound and graphics are good enough too, especially for a single developer game. Looking forward to playing it in challenge mode!

This is the perfect simple 2D RPG game! You do end up doing A lot of farming for supplies and you'll get kinda annoyed how fast enemies regenerate but ultimately it makes for a great challenge! I do wonder how to find bottles to get treasure maps, and there are no hints. I just happened to be at the right place doing the right thing and found a couple. I think adding some hints would be an improvement. Anyway, love the game! Definetly recommend!

I rarely leave reviews on a game, but this one was phenomenal. There's always a logical progression on what you should do next, ads never got in the way, and gameplay was a blast. A few things to note is that there's a ton of farming and the story isn't much beyond "escape + claim treasure," but even so the gameplay was amazing. Only problem (didn't affect gameplay at all) in the beginning where trying to read item descriptions resulted in an eternal loading wheel. Overall, I highly recommend.

I'm about half way through the game (according to the progress bar) but it seems like a good non money-grabbing game, with an actual achievable end. Fun if you like puzzles and exploration. Real sense of progress and accomplishment. Basically, everything that's lacking in most mobile games. Controls are a little wonky, and I wish it was possible to hit mobs outside of their range to kite them, but it has a well-calibrated difficulty. 5 stars.

This game is generally well-made and thought out, and the ad system is completely reasonable (you can watch ads for perks, but it's never forced on you or truly necessary). The battle system is a little different, and might seem somewhat aggravating if you're expecting something else. But if you can accept that the basic mechanic of a large portion of the game is collecting resources, and having enough of the right kind of food on hand to survive the various battles, chances are you'll still enjoy playing the game through to its finish.

A decent game. Fun for now. Keep in mind they pay you for your review. The game is a typical crafting game. The higher you go the more time you spend on gathering items. Combat is kinda a pain as there does not seem to be a way to avoid damage. In other words it's not skill based. It is not very difficult to figure out how to progress. Paying is optional it follows the "pay money to make the game less annoying model". If you die its a rather small inconvenience as you lose nothing.

Fun little game that felt like a cross of Zelda and Alchemy. A couple of suggested improvements for a sequel: make resources more renewable, or indicate that they not renewable. I almost wasted a bunch of iron on things I didn't need for convenience, not realizing that there is a finite amount. More varried combat styles, ie projectiles, Make it so tanking a bunch of damage isn't the "normal" way to progress. Ie make a maze, instead of just a bunch of spikes or lava that you have to go through.

It's a good idea, but it quickly becomes way too much of a grind for VINES. Constantly, always just running in circles to get more vines. It feels like the fantasy version of being an intern, you're just mostly fetching junk. Extraordinarily tedious. It's nice that it's not a microtransaction factory like most games, but that's kind of all it has going for it.
