Okay, so this is easily worth 10 dollars in every way except that it only has 6 worlds. I was kinda expecting 8 like so many other Mario games I've played. Or perhaps another 6 world's unlock after you beat the first 6 like 3dland... great game, seriously, but a little short overall. I would definitely buy dlc and I think almost as many people that bought the game would invest in more levels for a price. However, great job Nintendo, I can't get enough of this game. Fantastic!

Now, while I love the Mario Series, I will say that I am not the biggest fan of this game. When playing Remix 10, I found that the screen lagged for seemingly no reason, which threw me off plenty of times. The level design also seems pretty bland and just the same old settings you see over and over again. Overall I feel like this was just another cash grab from Nintendo, not to mention you actually need to PAY to unlock the rest of the game. But other than that, it looks decent graphic-wise.

The game itself is very fun, I like the controls, feel and overall experience. However, the content available for free is more of a demo rather than an actual game, which feels like false advertising, as the game is listed as a F2P. I mean, you only have access to like 10% of the game without paying - it's a bit VERY disappointing. It's a one time payment though, so it gets a point there...

A truly well designed game that is stupendously held back by unnecessary, slow server checks after every action and the concept that Toad Rally is the only way to build up your kingdom. The level design and stage music are fantastic. It just doesn't do much to mask how infuriating losing Toads is, or how annoying the slow server check-ins are after literally every action. Could have been great.

Super Mario Run is a great first installment of Super Mario for the Mobile platforms. It runs on the New Super Mario Bros. engine and has the exact graphics as the core games. The controls are great and serve the purpose; play with one hand. However, there are other controls that I'd love to have at my disposal, such as ground-pound and a gesture to stop running. The game also features Rally Mode which puts you to the test with other players, but after a while the stages seem stale, daily or weekly Toad Rally stages would be great for this. I personally love Super Mario and Super Mario Run is an amazing game for true Nintendo fans. Highly recommend playing and buying the extension.

This game is a side scrolling runner. It does have the platform design and includes many elements of the Super Mario series. The controls are easy and, in my experience, precise enough to make Mario do what you need him to do. It does take some practice like any platformer does. The graphics easily compete with what the Switch and 3DS are capable of. Mario moves smoothly across the course, and I have not seen any sprite glitches so far.

Fun game. It's short if you don't try and get all the special coins and what not, but that's true of most Mario games. One handed controls and short levels make for a perfect mobile game. My biggest gripe right now is it will hang forever when it needs to load about 5% of the time on my pixel 3. Not sure if it's a phone or wifi problem, but it's irksome. Most of the time I don't lose any progress, just have to restart the game, but it happens way too often.

Every game that has autorun would feel better without it and this is no exception. Fun enough, but $10 is too expensive. I got it for $5 and that's the most I would pay. No way to turn the volume down so I had to turn off the sounds. Weird lag when picking up power ups or doing certain actions really disrupts the flow of some levels. Screen is too zoomed in and way too many lengthy animations for repetitive tasks. No offline play so I couldn't use it on my flight.

I had no issues with the game on my Samsung Galaxy S7, however yesterday I bought a Samsung Galaxy S10+ and started the game all over again. I keep having the screen freeze while playing. So far it has only happened in the tour and remix, not in the Rally. The screen will freeze completely. I've waited several minutes and the screen will not unfreeze. Hitting the back button also has no effect. I have to force shutdown the game and restart it. It has happened several times. Inquiry not working.

It's okay-ish. Sure, it does lack the quality classic Mario gameplay, but I'd understand that it's called Super Mario *RUN*. This new gameplay though is pretty tacky and lacks the casual entertainment classic Mario games have. The sounds, music, and graphics are great though, staying true to the New Super Mario Bros. U feel. Not surprised because this is Nintendo after all. 👍 Level design is rather a disappointment. Sometimes enemy placements can be off sync with your run, making it harder to time certain jumps at needed areas, and sometimes items are place beyond your reach and require luck to simply get them. Also, this game isn't worth 10 dollars even if you maxed out everything because it just becomes one whole grind fest for toads, coins, and items after getting all the star coins and completing every mission. With that said, this game also has no replay value whatsoever. During the beginning of the game though, I at least enjoyed it.

The game is definitely worth the $10. You are getting quality content without the interference of ads, pay to win dlc, etc. It plays like a Mario game, but now requires less controlling and more timing. Toad Rally is a very fun mode (I think it may be more fun than the actual story). It is a shame this game will get bad reviews because of the decent asking price.

Even in 2021 this game is still a lot of fun. It receives enough updates and events to still be relevant, and the online mode is still up and running. If you're just into the single player mode however, then you have not only the 6 main worlds, each comprised of 4 levels, but you also have Star World, featuring 9 new levels, and obtained after beating the main game. There is also Remix 10, an endless supply of levels (essentially an endless runner). $10 may seem steep at first, but you get a lot

I finally uninstalled this. I tried to love it as a huge nintendo fan, and it's lacking. Definitely not worth the $10 I spent. My main issue is there's entirely too much happening on the screen and you constantly lose your place, making you fall down a hole, run into an enemy, or miss a red coin, etc. The levels are extremely clumsy. Trying to get a mushroom is maddening because they're too fast or too slow, and you can't turn around or speed up. There's a lot more, but won't fit in this review.

It's kinda disappointing, honestly you only play four levels then "oops we forgot to tell you that you actually need to buy us." I mean it's cool at first, needing to predict every move and jump precisely, but after a little while, you get tired of it, especially playing the same four levels over and over. I don't know how much it costs for full in-game contents, but I'm not buying it. Sorry Nintendo, but this game seemed neglected for a while, which it still is.

The only way I'll rate this higher than 4 stars is if the game became free to play. This game is really fun, with Toad Rally and Remix 10 being my favorite modes. All of the characters playing differently adds to the experience, too, that is if you can unlock them. But again, all of that is behind a paywall. 10 dollars is fine, but not every player has 10 dollars to spare for an otherwise great experience.

YOU CAN'T EVEN PLAY ALL THE LEVELS!! You get past world 1 and expect to keep going but you can't. Unless you pay money. 90% of the game is behind a pay wall. The racing part is fun but when you want to just play a level on your own and get some coins. Nope. That'll be 10 dollars. So expect to pay money in order to unlock anything after the first 4 levels.

This game is amazing. Great controls, and enough depth to give the player a challenge once you get far into the game. However, the game would benefit greatly from having more events like the Mario Wonder one right now that give us a reason to play Toad Rally. Also, adding more elements of the Mario games (like the Triple Jump and more power-ups, and maybe costumes like Blue and Yellow Toad) would serve to make the game a lot more fun. In essence, great game that needs more content in the future.

Extremely unfriendly towards free to play users. The game mechanics and graphics are great. Limited levels for free, but remix levels go on for longer, so that's alright...but I was on the fence about having to wait 3 minutes in between the remix levels, and then I got to stage 10 and the wait time jumped up to 30 minutes. If you pay the $10, I'm sure the game is phenomenal. *Remix level 12, the wait time to be able to play again is 1 hour. It's almost like they don't want people to play.

The trial version is a tutorial level and 1 main level. The full game is 10 dollars. Keeping in mind that it is actually challenging and engaging and plays very decently for a mobile game, I don't think that's a bad price. I'm impressed at how this game was developed to be so difficult as a mobile game. It plays like a 90's game, having to go back into levels to get all of the pink could and other achievements. There are a few different modes, including a competitive rally.

I enjoy this game immensely, but not being able to play offline as well as the Toad requirements for some shop items can be off-putting. That said, it's pretty challenging and fun for what it is. Just keep in mind, this is a free-to-start game, not a free-to-play game, especially if you want access beyond World 1 in Tour Mode, and be able get tickets more often to play longer in Toad Rally and Remix 10. $10 is a bit steep, though I understand it goes on sale for $5 during special events.
