It seemed like a fun game at first but then it got frustrating even for the first stage. It's impossible to get all the flags if they barely give you characters to combo off of, it only clears one charger set at a time so it takes your time to get the next one, you should just be able to go, go, go since there a time limit. Don't like that it's very luck based to get enough characters to clear a stage and the tutorial takes too much time, just let me play!

Adorable and surprisingly challenging. You don't have to pay to win levels. The difficulty does ramp up pretty early on, but between the challenges & events, you can easily level your sumis up high enough to beat levels. It is gated slightly more than games like Candy Crush (b/c if you are trying to beat your high score, it doesn't "refund" your clover when you complete), but if you're passing new levels, you get the clover you "spent". Not more monetized than King games.

App is fun and addictive, but it gets stuck on an advertisement and has to be restarted. What's even more frustrating is when you watch an advertisement for a boost, and instead of returning to the game, the game goes back to the title screen where you have to tap to start. July 17th, 2020 I upgraded the number of stars because I really like the past event revivals. A GREAT way to get the special event tsums for new players like me. But please fix the bug (s) that cause the app to hang or qui

I've been understanding the puzzles reasonably well, however I think the number of moves given for certain levels needs to be adjusted. By the third area, the difficulty curve spikes despite extra moves and it feels like I'm using all my clovers on a wall. might not be a bad idea to adjust that number too to make the game more enjoyable.

Pay To Win with extra cuteness. The puzzles are challenging, but artificial difficulty (fractured maps, lowered move counts, etc.) takes what should have been challenge and turned it into a slot machine. To attain the highest scores you almost HAVE to pay for power ups, which takes away from the sense of achievement/fun of beating a puzzle. Not a bad time sink, just don't expect a lot of success unless you're willing to farm/pay for power ups. Pretty much broken at level 60.

Really enjoy the game and graphics! Nice for a quick fix, and always tempting to play on forever. Some UX flows could be tweaked - like not confirming with a pop up every time you send a friend a clover. And the sale pop-ups are a bit much (why 3 separate notifications when you can put 3 messages into 1 pop up? A little annoying, but I get it, trying to make money).

I like this game and it can be really addicting. The puzzles go from being super easy to really difficult and you'll have to carefully plan your moves. It has a learning curve but it's not steep. You will have a 15 level tutorial to get through but it does a good job of getting you comfortable with the game. Some levels can take a day or so beat because you'll run out of clovers(lives) and it takes a full 12 minutes for them to regenerate. You can add friends and have them give you more though so that helps. The shop is where I lose love for this game and the reason why I gave it the amount if stars that I did. It is this games main detractor. No way in the world anything within a cell phone game should cost 60 bucks. I could get a console game for that amount and get more play time value for the money. Lower the prices in the shop and you'll have a stellar game.

The mechanics are fun & easy to follow (important since any support outside of the game seems to be in Japanese). The variety of side quests & events provide a lot of fun options, especially when you're stalled on the main game. However, in the latest (1-19-20) update, they have started playing a full 30-second ad after each game. This really makes for a bogged down experience, especially in a game that has been extremely laggy lately. It was a 4-5 star experience but now it's mostly unplayable.

The tutorial is WAY too long. I kept tapping my screen rapidly and it still took forever to get to the level. I mean, I get it. We can combine drums and there are different ways to get them, but we don't need any more than 3 levels to get that. This game took more than 10. I do like the actual gameplay, but I couldn't even finish the tutorial with how excess it was. Deleted.

This game is adorable, fun, and there is a lot to it. Edit, BUG: It has been happening lately, when I watch adds for items that when the add is done the loading screen never goes away. So, I have to close the game and come back. I just did this twice in a row for items and this time did not receive any items. Hopefully this can be fixed soon!

Cute, fun little puzzle game. Lost 1 star because the "tutorial" was painful to sit through. I appreciate the cute dialogue, but there's way too much of it. Lost another star because of poor level design. It's not that the levels are difficult, but some are downright impossible unless you just happen to get useful Sumi. The game loves to throw random ones into the mix that don't match with anything. Lost a third star for ads that freeze the game and don't give me my reward after watching.

The only puzzle game app I've ever played where the mechanics don't feel unbeatable without real money after a while. I'm on level 342, and it's still excellent. I started playing this for the precious buddies, and it ended up being extremely enjoyable. There are events all the time, so you can earn a bunch of the currencies -- you can do a lot in this game without ever spending a dime. The only issue is long loading times on occasion, but tapping the screen a bunch usually works. :)

Update: The loading times are getting ridiculous and the sound and/or music constantly cuts out after ads. Very cute and addicting. Song is repetitive but gets stuck in my head. Con/Bugs: - Extremely long initial loading time for the type of game it is, loading blinks constantly after getting in game. - Often loses sound after switching to another app and then back again.

Tutorial lasts for too long. After the first couple stages it lets you do what you want, however it interrupts gameplay with explanations of one drum type per level for the next 15 levels. After two or three levels its easy to figure them out, and special combinations should be left as a surprise to be figured out on your own, not a three minute explanation stretched out over 20 levels.

Cute game with colorful graphics and adorable characters. However, the game gets unexpectedly difficult early on. Challenge isn't a bad thing, but I was hoping for a more leisurely/easy game. Like most mobile games, there's a push to buy items to win as you get further and I'm not interested in spending money, so I'll be uninstalling...

It's a cute game, but kinda glitchy. The loading screen takes forever! It shouldn't take almost 20 mins to load a game, and sometimes (even when the little characters are highlighted), it will select a completely different match then what I clicked on. It's a super cute game, I like the mechanics but it still needs a lot of work.

I love sumikko gurashi characters and the aesthetic so this is a calming cute little game to wind down with, without being too easy either. It doesn't push you to buy things, though that's an option, and you only watch ads if you want. Only reason I can't give it 5 stars is due to the slow loading times when starting it up. Leaving it open in the background doesn't help, as it loads again when you reopen it. Requires a network connection to play, too.
