I've been playing this one for years now. It definitely deserves a review from me. There are a few ways to customize it like with the looks and types of "hints" you can get. it's not really a hint but three different ways to help you use clues. If you play it you'll know what I mean. You also have minimal ads which suits me just fine. There are a lot of free Sudoku apps out there but this one has remained on my phone for ages. Thank you developers for making such a great product!

I use this app every day, and for the most part really like it. No complaints about the app itself, but the ads are getting more and more intrusive. It used to be the occasional ad between puzzles, but now I get one when I start the app, when I start a puzzle and when I finish one too. I spend more time sitting through ads than actually doing the puzzles these days, and it's getting to the point where I will be looking at other apps.

This is by far the best sudoku app. I've been using it for years since it came out and sharing it with people. It really is "clean" and easy to use without ads. I also love their minesweeper game! Recently, the expert level has become easy, and I am wondering if it's me or the app. I've been filtering through the other sudoku apps to try to find something more difficult. So far, I haven't even made it through a game on another app because the others are too frustrating to use!

This app is absolutley lovely! As stated, the set up is very clean, and it made me actually smile a bit. (When you tap on a number, all the same numbers bubble up I a very calming cheerful way). The game play is just Suduko, no shoving bonuses and annoying screen in your face, nothing to distract from the fun of the game itself. The interface itself is very basic and intuitive, with a toggle pencil/pen model. All together, I'm very happy.

Perfection! Set this up any way you like to experience perfection. I love the dark background most, but you can have whatever you want (a rarity in other apps). The ads are only between games, not annoyingly intrusive (another rarity in other apps). Other features are excellent too! I'm probably going to buy the ad free version just to give the devs money for doing a phenomenal job. I'm checking out their other apps now. I wish everyone would use this app as the standard for their apps too.

So far I've played two games and haven't gotten a single ad. It's easy on the eyes (in that it looks nice, but also it literally doesn't strain my eyes the way some other sodoku apps do), and just has an overall pleasant feel to it that I haven't gotten with the other sudoku apps I've tried. If I were to add a feature, I might add an assist that highlights the line, column, and square associated with the selected cell, but other than that I'm very happy.

This is my favorite game I've had on my phone over the years! The layout is simple, pleasing to look at, & the puzzles are fun. It's nice to play during a slow day at work or the time spent waiting on something. I've never experienced any bugs or issues with it. As another review says, there are not many ads you barely notice them.

Nearly perfect at what it does. Lots of great features and customization. I love the different color themes as well. One complaint I do have is that I'm tempted to buy the AMOLED theme pack but I can't preview anything. I'd love to be able to see what the themes I'm purchasing look like first. There is one single feature I'd add though. When you have number highlighting on I feel like it should highlight where you have it penciled differently than where you have it penned in.

This is hands down, the best sudoku app available. I love how clean it is. It has some major quality of life features that make solving the harder puzzles much easier. I love that I can highlight any given number to quickly see where they all are. My wife and I are hooked and regularly compete with each other for the better time. One feature I'd love to see is some way to load a specific puzzle. Maybe some way to share a puzzle so that my wife and I can do the exact same one.

Best sudoku app I've used so far! Multiple options for screen lighting. I personally always have it on dark mode, where the numbers aren't even a stark white. Very easy on the eyes. Well-designed app that is simple and easy to use. There are ads, but it's the fewest ads I've seen on any game app in a long time. They never pop up in the middle of a game. I also love the touch of top 10 scores for each difficulty. Perfect sudoku app!

I really like how ads are rare in this game. You only get them roughly every three games (I've played 10 so far and only received 3 ads), and they don't interrupt in mid gameplay. To remove them completely , it's only a one-time $5, which is fair. Other games need to take note on this is how to do ads! Not fond of timers though as pressure builds to keep beating your fastest time. Great game aside from that. Moto G Stylus 2023.

I've used this app for many years now across multiple phones, and I have to say this one is my favorite. Like many others say, it's easy to use, nice to look at, and extremely unintrusive. It doesn't require wifi to force you to load ads, which is my biggest gripe with apps nowadays. This is the only app that I dont mind sitting through the ads for, because I want the developer(s) to get what money they can out of it. If you really like the app, spend the $4 to get the ad free version. Cheers!

Suggestion: Make the 'pencilled' numbers a different highlight color than their 'penned' counterpart. The best Sudoku app. I have had this app for years, the quality of life things in this app. Simply don't exist in other apps. The UI works just as you'd expect it too. And NO Permissions required, which means they are not tracking you. Unlike that Chinese flashlight app that you forgot you had installed. The themes are nice and simple, while maintaining a nice visual contrast.

Had put off on purchase and review until I was more comfortable with sudoku. Now that I'm not floundering with the game itself, I can say this app is just as good as the minesweeper and solitaire apps from this dev. Clean, lightweight, a good system for penciling in potential numbers in spaces. I was getting 1 ad per game, but the app is more than worth the money for a solid app. EDIT: After more time, I still say 5/5, but "undos" are often hard to tell. Maybe a "redo" or "undone" marker?

I had never played sudoku before, but this app taught me and I love it! The ads are minimal. There are dark color schemes available, which is fantastic. Gameplay is smooth/soothing and you can pick up where you left off with ease. I tried a few others, but I love the gameplay of this one. Nothing else really stacks up!

Looks clean. I'd appreciate if it had a more contrasty color scheme with white background. But the most important feature it doesn't have is automatic filling of pencil marks. It is a boring mechanical process and after you reach some level, it is a waste of time. You can enable it on the second or third level, but it must be there! UPDATE: the notes can now be filled in automatically. Thank you! It'll also be nice to have harder puzzles. The "extreme" puzzles can be solved in 5-6 minutes.

Very minimal ads and a very clean, well designed app. Suggestion: when making notes, the circles around thr number and its notes are the same color. It makes it confusing, at a glance, to see what is actually filled in vs. what is a note. I would either: 1) tone down the background color of the notes, maybe midway between the background and the theme color, or 2) add a color customizer for each element of the puzzle. Maybe paid, when you remove ads? Or an extra fee for the feature?

Amazing app! So clean, and displays great on my Galaxy Z Fold 4. Only suggestion would be to have a quick way to deselect the current square selected to turn off the assist highlights. It would be nice if you can just touch somewhere off the grid and have all cells deselected / not highlighted. Although the current selected cell is highlighted in a slightly different color, it's still a bit hard to tell and would be better to have a way to quickly get rid of it.

Probably the best on market. Minimal ads although they are deceptive ads that try to confuse you with false 'updates' for other sudoku games. This one is nice to use and not bogged down with junk. Wish it had more colors though, and not at a premium for the small amount it offers.

The interface on this app is second to none: great readability and placement options. I just wish the "Extreme" difficulty was harder or that there was another level beyond. Other apps have more difficult puzzles, but I come back to this one for the great UI. I also think the ads can be obnoxious, I'd prefer less intrusive ones, but that's what I get for using the free option.
