Very obtrusive ads. Went from having none to having ALL the ads. Every time you finish finding a number (9 times per game) unskippable ad. Back out? ad. Finish game? ad. Want to start a new one even though you finished the last game, and you are just starting back up? You guessed it. This used to be good with minimally obtrusive ads.

great app, just wayyyy too many ads. I don't even leave reviews for apps but the ad problem is SO BAD!! you can get one before you even see the main menu screen, everytime you start or finish a game, most of the time when you finish all of one number, I can't go 2 minutes without seeing an ad. i get that you need to make money and all and you can pay 2.49 for no ads but the amount of them is just ridiculous

I hate that if I accidentally press the wrong number it doesn't give me the option to erase it before it is considered a mistake. Also on many of the ads it has a "instant install" in a big button that is hard to avoid and instead of taking you to the app store to download, it instantly installs without needing your permission. The one good thing about this game is that it is fun and the layout is simple.

Disappointed! I'd give zero stars if I could. I only played the giant, and now it's gone. Not only did I have to start over because I got a new phone, but I had to go through the BS of playing so many of each level to unlock the next difficulty. Which I only did because I was hoping the giant would populate at the end, but it didn't. I'll be deleting this app and looking for one that is more challenging.

I had this one at 5 stars before their most recent update. Yea there's adds, but it's only 1 in the middle and one at the end. Not that bad for a free game. But their new update GOT RID of the Giant puzzle (1-9 & A-G). Those were my favorites, cause I got too quick at solving the standard ones. They "added" two new difficulties. But they are no different than before. Many other comments also asking why they got rid of the Giant level. Makes NO SENSE. it was the only sodoku app that had it.👎

Of course, as many reviews are saying, I'm uninstall due to the invasive ads. This app has gone the way of Uno and many others. The responses seem to be "the constant ads are needed for our inflated development cost". But there shouldn't be much cost. No one asked for all these updates, tournaments, etc. We just wanted a simple, usable app, but we're financing useless features by spending as much time watching ads as we do playing. No thanks. There are plenty of competitors without ads.

Used to be a great game, but has recently had ads exponentially increased. You get an ad before a game, after a game, and the first few times you get all of a single number filled in. Plus if you want hints, which they just changed from giving you a specific square you asked for to a general hint about how to do sudokus. This means in a recent 6 minute game, the experience was interrupted by ads six times. Most reviews were written when it was one ad per game.

This used to be a simple easy to use Sudoku game without all the bloated tournaments and extra features. The ads were minimal (roughly one per game) and I played it daily. It did what it set out to do and did it well. But then came all the extra features and bloat, which was fine I just did not use them. However now the ads are unbearable. Usually 4-5 ads per game. A expert level game takes me usually 8-10 min so that is an ad roughly every 2.5 minutes which is insane. Time to uninstall

I had to change my l phone and my favorite Sudoku game app was not compatible with my new one. So, I've been searching for a replacement. This one is NOT it. I HATE the interface, with the constant need to click back and forth between the number selection and the game board cell selection. Once I select a number, why can't I just place it in all the cells it applies to? At least this app has more levels of difficulty than others I've tried recently. Ah well. The search continues.

update 1: notes were fixed. down to 1 ad per game which is tolerable. 10.2022- not a fan of the latest update. to me, it is much more difficult to tell if the notes are "on" or "off". with only the word changing colors I don't notice it as much, I wish the whole icon or the square section changed colors. for a while, the amount of ads are absurd. why do 3 ads during my game? it interrupts my flow/rhythm, focus. I know a free version needs ads but they shouldn't be in the middle of a game.

Uninstalling. I used to play this for years but the recent update has removed game modes and added tournaments that no one asked for. The main issue is that it has too many ads now. At least 10 during the level because you're forced to watch an ad before you start and each time you complete all the numbers (9x!) in the middle of the game. It's so distracting.

Have had this downloaded since February 2021. The game is about what you'd expect. Has some nice features and difficulties seem well gauged. My only issue is the ads. They just throw them in your face throughout the puzzles. Not just randomly they do it exactly when you complete all of a number on the puzzle, basically breaks all focus and momentum. Really annoying way to implement ads has to be a better way to do it, maybe show at the start of each puzzle if they must be during the puzzle?

I loved this app to the extent that I paid for the ad-free version but they have now crippled it by "optimizing" it and removing the "Giant" mode which is the only one I used. How do I get them to undo the "fix" that didn't fix anything but, instead, broke it ? Easybrain - I only played the Giant mode and Extreme is too easy. You have disabled a fundamental part of the game and I want my money back. I will never pay for anything you produce if you can just take away the bit I like.

Every time I get to the point where an ad plays, the game freezes and I have to back out of the game. When I reload, the game I was playing goes back to the beginning. No saving. I love the tournament play, but having to start each individual game 3-4times has gotten old. The same thing happens in the killer sudoku version. Please help or I am going to have to uninstall.

Mid game adds ruin it to the point where I now only play while flying and in airplane mode. I understand free games need ad revenue, but I'd vastly prefer having longer ads before and after than have my flow and thoughts on next place to look be interrupted and lost by ads in the middle of my game. Take those away and it's 5 stars in my opinion, but it just has that much effect on gameplay

6/10 most aren't skippable in 5 secs. Ex: Pinterest. Then there R those 3 in row ads. Btw, how can one time their Games w so many ads? Understand need but 2 many 6/9/24. I give up. Ads too long & frequent. Removed 3 stars. 1/24 I'd rate this a 5 except for the ads. I understand need for revenue. But, player can't determine their speed when constantly interrupted by MANY LONG ads. I like simple B & W screens - I looked for game like that. Won't upgrade in case it comes w colors. Want simple B&W.

Big fan. I play this before bed to stop my brain from wandering. I like the different color options. I think I paid for no ads, and I really appreciate that they honor the "no ads" experience and don't try to force new ads. I like how the numbers highlight; it keeps it casual enough for bed time, but still challenging enough to hold my focus.

Too many ads. Every 10 hit streak creates an automatic add before I can finish the puzzle. Why would you program an add to run in the middle of a game and not the end? It's feels like "Thanks for filling out this column (10 Hit Streak), before we get back to the game, here's a 60 second ad from our sponsor(s),"

Great intuitive interface to solve. I'd never bothered with Sudoku till last year and in just a few months 've gotten to an expert level rather quickly just by practicing. A lot. Which is easy to do. Paid version is totally worth it. I'm at the stage where I am practicing solving Sudoku without the use of notes! And have been doing well up to the Hard and even Expert levels. The 10 day competitions are fun I wish it would show my own nickname on the scoreboard 😭. It just says "Me" 😂

I had Play Pass for a few years and got so used to zero ads. I unfortunately had to stop the pass and had ads again (obviously) that were so much more disruptive than I thought they'd be. As soon as I'd finish a row it'd throw up an ad. If I continued game there'd be another. Way too disruptive. Other Sudoku game options with zero ads to try! It was wonderful w/ Pass & terrible w/o.
