5. Mistakes Limit. You can turn off the mistakes limit in the game settings or change it to 3, 5, or 10 mistakes.

Started out okay but then the ads hit. The reason for one star is the ads lock up my phone and I have to force stop the app to get it to work again. This causes me to lose the game I just finished or was working on. Totally unacceptable and I will be uninstalling because of this. If you had an option to pay to remove ads that would help.

Decent game, except for all the ADs! If you hit the wrong button - AD. If you pause the game - AD. Go beyond the timer for each game - AD, each minute after that (so each game is stressful. Pray you don't get phone calls/text msgs while playing) - AD, thinking about getting the Premium version - 2.99/wk, 9.99/month or 50.00+/yr - talk about investing in someone's 401k (and it's not yours, to be sure). I've moved on (un-installed)! Thank you!

Update: I am not saying too many ads. Even after watching the full ad, it does not allow me to go back to the game. That is a bug in the app. FYI, I am also an android developer and very well know how to integrate with ad libs. Original: Annoying ads never let you proceed even after watching or opening ads. There is no close or skip to go back to the game. Everything I have to kill it.

After playing this for a few years, including thousands of expert level games, I am searching for a different sudoku. The insistant ads of 1 minute are getting tiresome. Start a new game? See an ad Pause a game? See an ad Win a game? See an ad It has been like this, but now the ads last forever. And lately, as I've tried to skip the ad, it installs the games it promotes. I've found it saves my wait time by installing the advertised game and uninstalling it right away.

decent at best. there are SOOOOO MANY ads. you have to sit through a minute long, unskippable ad just for an extra minute of playtime in the event challenges. half the time when you click the 'x' to close the ad it'll just force you into the play store instead and when you come back, the game has glitched and you have to restart the puzzle or watch ANOTHER minute long, unskippable ad. I've had this app for years and it has never been so riddled with ads. the dev is greedy af with this app

Too many ads and now a black screen so I can't get to play at all. The game was good but there are too many times when a lengthy ad will show up. I've played for about 8 months. This time a black screen shows up and there's no interaction with it, backing up a screen only takes you to an installation page in Google Play for yet another unwanted game. I will likely uninstall this and look for another sudoku game.

Ads with no skip. wait longer. remember this is a FREE app. They have different challenges. You have daily puzzles, which range in difficulty. You have 2 different types of Event puzzles. One varies in difficulty, requiring you to get to 30 completed puzzles. Each 1/3rd completed you get a medal. The other is a timed event. 30 puzzles. If you run out of time or make too many mistakes on any puzzles you have the option to watch an ad. to gain more chances or time.

The game is now totally ruined for me. I don't know if it updated last night or what, but the gameplay has significantly changed for the worse! Before, when you turned off Advanced Notes, it was off for puzzle after that. Now you have to watch an ad EVERY SINGLE PUZZLE to turn that off, & when you hit a number, it appears everywhere! Because when they effed it up, they thoughtfully turned that option ON in Settings! If you want a challenging game, go somewhere else.

Ads on ads on ads. I wouldn't find it so revolting if there was a way back to the puzzle, but for some of the ads there is no "x", no skip button, nothing. Just the entire screen populated by an ad that leads you to an app in the play store no matter where you place your finger. Tapping the "back" button on your device's integrated interface does nothing; and it doesn't matter how long you wait. I think I'll just pick up a whole book of sudoku puzzles for $1 next time I'm out, thanks.

Honestly this is the best Sudoku app I've tried. I love how the hints help you learn the game instead of just giving you one number. Still gets 3/5 because there's no way to get rid of the ads. Seriously, please let me pay you money so I don't have to watch an ad every time I read a text message then switch back to the game. It's very frustrating!

Great game. I don't mind the ads. But there's an ad or something that keeps opening up a bunch of tabs in my internet browser without my permission. I'll be in the middle of a game and it switches over to my internet app. I thought I had a virus, but it only happens with this app. I might have to uninstall the game if it keeps happening :/

There are often ads that play between puzzles that take you to a site other than Google Play to download even if all you did was touch your screen. I complained about these and they stopped for a short while, but now they're back. The ad system this company uses is really predatory and these games will often auto download without your concent just because you missed the X button or swiped the screen to bring up your home button. It's ridiculous. You're better off downloading a different app.

I understand this is a free app, I like the UI and the medal challenges. I extremely dislike that ads will automatically play because I want to resume the game, restart the game, so on and so forth. Being made to watch another ad on top of losing a match the fifth time in a row because it only allows one mistake has made me scream. Being made to watch fat loss gummy ads that use Kelly Clarkson as a marketing grab is an insult on top of insult, esp as I try not to teeter into an eating disorder.

The non invasive ads at the bottom are running a batch that includes a malware fake virus scan. This ad causes your default Internet browser to popup and load a website saying your Norton anti virus is expired. Even with no permissions this app allows ads to access external apps leaving you at a great security risk. I cannot support an app that allows these things to happen. Security is paramount.

Im using a Samsung phone and some of the ads on this game are installing/sideloading an icon on the apps screen which looks like an installed app. There was no action by me besides pressing the tiny X to leave the ad. This is crazy that this is allowed and doesn't appear there is a way to disable this behavior on the phone. I like the game otherwise, I just wish there was better ad governance.

Good layout and design. But there is a REALLY ANNOYING BUG in medium and hard modes. Sometimes a "mistake" is recorded when there is no real mistake. Valid number placement, perfectly aligned with the rules. I have a screenshot if the developers are interested. Assuming the usual canned responses to poor reviews, I am opting to uninstall and play someone else's release.

I love the game. Notes work very well, UI is very clean, and the increase in difficulty is at a good rate and not going from easy to genius in 3 puzzels. Ads are fine, although some are a bit long. You also have to be VERRY, VERRY careful when clicking the close button on the ad or the game may install what is advertised. I had to remove 4 games because of this as I didn't catch it right away. I realize this is a startup, and revenue is needed, but I feel the ad rate is a bit too high.

Good app if you want easy puzzles. There are multiple difficulties, but none are really that challenging. You have to complete 10 expert levels to unlock "Nightmare" difficulty. I regularly complete nightmares in under 4 minutes. I'm only writing this review because I literally just completed a nightmare puzzle in a minute and 44 seconds, with no mistakes and no actual guessing. Makes me wonder whose nightmare it is. It's still a good app for what it does, though.

Shameless ad grab. win? Ad. pause? Ad. start a new game? Ad. Hint? Ad. Misclick a square more than 3 times? Auto loss and guess what? Another ad! Also the ads are long, unskippable and more often than not direct you to the play store unclicked. I understand free games require ads but this game takes it over the top. The puzzles are also too easy, expert feels more like it should be medium. Is it sudoku? Yes but there are better options.

so far so good! I've played 2 games. Update: somehow the timer option was turned on. It wasn't on before. Then I couldn't get o the game. Huge ads taking full screen, including for what looked like a different sudoku. Finally had to close the game entirely. Guess I was in a honeymoon period before. In response to developer's reply, there were always ads. Only now they are intrusive, multiple, and you have to close the program to get them offscreen
