The game itself played nicely enough. I just play straight Sudoku and don't care about "extras." However, after the second ad that lasted well past the length of time it should have, I uninstalled the game. I don't mind ads and understand the need for them, but when the ad lasts an inordinate amount of time to where it's tedious to wait on it, it's gone.

Most OBNOXIOUS ad experience I've ever seen. Theres an ad after every game. Some can't be muted. Part 1 of the ad lasts 5-45 seconds before a close button appears. Small close buttons to nearly guarantee it opens the play store. After hitting close, another ad slide appears. Close that, another ad slide. Close that, and it's the final one but it takes 5 seconds to close. Then, after clicking to start the next game, you get ANOTHER ad cycle before you can play. Some ads play audio DURING GAMEPLAY

One of the best sudoku apps in terms of features and polish, but ruined by truly obnoxious ads that get worse as you play more. Long unskipable ads which automatically open the play store without a click are awful. At first they hide features behind these ads but eventually they gate just playing behind ads too. Edit: dev claims you can skip after a "few" secs, which is true if "few" means 30+ seconds plus the time spent in the play store.

Awful ads. It's like you are putting so many ads to try to get people to subscribe to save their sanity. Half the time the x leads to a "accidental tap" and other times the ad glitches and I have to restart the app. Uninstalling.... maybe I will try it again later to see if this has been remedied. Way too much greed.

I can deal with the ads I get that's how the creator gets paid. But the x and skip button being nearly impossible to click is absolutely obnoxious. I don't recommend this game unless you want your app store opening after every game. Edit: I do see those buttons but they are too small to click maybe 1/3 of the time I can click those tiny little buttons to close the ad most the time I get sent to the ads page on the play store. Here's a simple solution make the fast forward and close bigger

Battle mode is horrible. People aren't penalized for the mistakes. I've lost so many times because the other person intentionally guessed to get the right answer, made mistakes, and still won. It glorifies mistakes over skill. It should be a point based system. For example: each correct number = x points, first done = x points, Mistakes = lose points, gapping other player = x points. That will make battles skill-based rather than who finishes first. It's dumb.

Happy then so sad... It was so nice to find a simple Sudoku. Now, sooooooo many ads. I get it, need some cash for the work but... It's one ad after another. It's Sudoku, how many "upgrades" could you possibly add. I was happy with just the game. I didn't need all the extras. One good thing and the reason for the 3... Less time on the tech, back to paper and pen and a W H O L E lot less aggravation. Yes, in my option, the ads are that bad, now.

Adds are constant and don't let you exit out wasting so much time. The ability to skip is hidden or not obvious for forcing you to wait or tap around the top of the add, which directs you to the add link. Likely forcing "conversations" making the add seem effective which it's not. I know add revenue is important and obviously the main focus and purpose of the game is only to get add revenue.

played a month and a half, it's an OK Sudoku game, however the ads are just a huge turnoff for me. Having ads that you have to click 3 times to dismiss is a terrible experience for players. You also have to sit through an ad before the game and after you win. If you pause the game by going to another app, then another ad will play before you can continue your game. There is also a subscription premium service to get ad free, but no option for a one time purchase. Deleting this app.

The Coca-Cola ad will continually pop up after an accidental tap on it, which is ridiculously sensitive with a microscopic hit-zone. I'm talking popping up every 5-7 seconds until the app is closed and reset. I'll be happy to adjust this rating when that issue is fixed. Update: This issue has only gotten significantly worse with several different ads behaving as described above. Also, there are frequent pop ups that aren't related to any ads when using this app. I'm deleting this.

Horrendous ads they make impossible to skip. Most of the time the fast forward button doesn't even show up so you have to watch it and these ads are at least 1 minute long each. No X button to skip, and the few times one appeared it didn't respond when I touched it. Ad after ad after ad. Sucks because it's a simple app to use and I like the puzzles but I'm uninstalling because the ads make using the app MISERABLE!

Adds are too much. It was fine at first. No ad lasted longer than 30 secs. Then the (x) that was used to close the ads became an (>>) to continue to the next part of the ad. only to then get to the (x) to close it. Then they added in a second (>>). By this time the ads were close to a minute long. Next the started minimizing the selectable area of the (>>)s and (x)s to create more misclicks. Now the (x) doesn't actually close the ad half the time and you have to restart the app. I am done.

The game is fun and, at the higher levels, challenging. I give it a low rating due to the ungodly number of ads. Literally before and after each game is an ad a varying length. If you are lucky, you will have two ads. Some pause, leading the player unable to determine if this is planned or a faulty device. Worse during tournaments as play takes roughly 1-2 minutes per puzzle. Deleting game now. I know how monetizing works and that it is a necessity. 5 seconds? Sometimes, mostly not.

Ads were a huge turnoff, but the straw that broke the camels back when the game started penalized me for "mistakes" when there was no other number that would work in that square. This was not an issue with the mistakes limit. There were puzzles that had errors in that marked correct numbers as mistakes even though there was no other possible position for the number. I deleted the app. Good bye.

I gave two stars ONLY because the game is fun when you are able to enjoy it. When my husband and I first started playing this on our phones, there were quite a few ads. A few before and a few after and then a few before and a few after. Most recently, the ads have started popping up while we're actually working the puzzle. One pops up... two or three or four times, we finally get it to go away, and 2-3 seconds later, it pops up AGAIN!!!! It's happening multiple times during the puzzle!!!!! F*%K!

If you like Ads before and after a game, and then after some time every minute or 2 during a game, this might be for you. TL;DR: Advertisement overkill, not recommended! Edit: Since the developer responded, I'll add that it isn't a specific ad. It's literally advertisement overload. Way more ads than needed to cover the cost of continuing to run/develop the game. For anyone interested in being ad free, just pay a few dollars for a premium version, preferably one that's offline.

Really fun at first, but after a few days you get 2 minutes of ads for every minute of gameplay, and the cost of ad removal is excessive. Response to Dev response: That's not true. Many ads are unskippable. This isn't a game that has ads, this is ads that has a game. Ads should never make up more than 10% of time in app, and that would be a lot. Response to second Dev response: They gave me a one week reprieve in the hopes I would change my review, and now the unskippable ads are back.

Way too many ads. Un-installed. Want to start a game, ad. Finish a game, ad. Click any button, ad. Watch an ad, here's another ad for you. I am fine with watching ads to gain something such as a hint. That's a choice that can ad value to the game. But having an add wall for literally every action you perform in the app is ridiculous.

Original review: Advertized as 100% free with no ads. Has ads. After non-apology developer comment review: Thank you for wasting your time to not even address issue. I never complained about the ads. I have an issue with your false advertizement of 100% free as well as ad free. Also you are wrong about being able to skip after 5 seconds. Most ads don't give option for at least 30 seconds and that is if it's only one ad. Love the game it's self; marketing and knowledge could use improvement.

I see the time of completion as the only target for comparison to all other players, mistakes don't matter if the time to beat is achieved. I usually play extreme, I would like to see harder puzzles or shorter times to solve for 3☆ wins. And the adverts show neon colors, I've never found that. Would it be possible to add the number of mistakes made to the comparison percentage?
