Vaguely worded win conditions mean you have to play levels repeatedly to guess-and-check what's wanted. If you zoom or pan, about half the time it leaves the game stuck in an unplayable view. This game is broken and in no way worth any charge.

Great game and I've enjoyed the app, but after the latest update not only were all of my old saved games lost, but the only game I've saved since the update I could open. I could delete it accidentally trying to open it, but I couldn't actually open it no matter how many times I tapped.

A good implication of the board game. Would give it 5 stars if it included all expansions (Inc and 5-Star) and if there was a place in app to report bugs in game. The AI is buying tiles and going into negative money to do so. And Casino isn't working correctly when population goes backwards over a red line.

Great port of the boardgame. The automatic calculations are great and the special edition tiles design make it much more interesting visually. The campaign mode is a great addition and will keep you busy for a while.

This is an excellent implementation of the game! I especially like the campaign and its challenging scenarios! Some of the reviews mention having a hard time tracking the math according to the app, but I have checked it extensively and it is always right according to the rules. I like that the app lets me know the consequences of each action I take before I really take it. The game takes a few tries to really understand, but is worth the effort.

Adequate for a short play, the difficulty levels are way off though. Games are way too short, interface is far from intuitive, and there's nothing to really capture the players interest in terms of rewards.

Grest game, but screen size issue is annoying, stops me playing the "local play" games on my new phone altogether as I can't see the button to start the game! I hope it gets fixed. I'd love to be able to play in portrait rather than landscape, there's nothing in the game that would prevent it.

No tutorial makes this one impossible for a new player to learn. I've played Castles of Mad King Ludwig extensively so I could muddle through it but it was frustrating and not fun. Add a tutorial and I could see this being a 5 star game. Unless you already know how to play the tabletop version, I would stay away from this one.

I got this game free with the purchase of the CE Kickstarter boardgame. It has rapidly become one of my favourite games on my phone and lets me play through various strategies before receiving the final product. The only downside I can find is that there are still some AI improvements that need to be done. Like buying a tile that is available for +6 when the same tile is available for +0 and there isn't the goal of least money... Broken now on Sansung Galaxy Tab (2022)

Won't let me long press to decrease volume. Leave the app for a while and the sounds and music are on. Just let me long press to decrease or increase volume, come on. I should not have to click click click. That's nuts. Why on Earth would you change how volume works? Maybe it's a bug? Fix for 4 stars. It's a fine app otherwise. Glad I can play with classic art, which I vastly prefer.

controls are pretty bad. as mentioned by others, if you drag the board and lose sight of any tiles, you cannot drag the playable area back into view. you are forced to quit the app and restart from scratch! since there hasnt been any updates for a long time, I don't think the app is worth playing in this state.

Fun time, but UI needs overhaul. The market covers up half (or more) of the screen for 90% of the game, making it impossible to watch other players' moves or get a feel for what your city looks like from a large scale. However, besides that issue the adaptation is lovingly done with great attention to detail.

Good game, fine adaptation but annoyingly buggy. Besides the zoom problem, I can't finish Atlanta. Objectives say connect all tiles, which I do, earn more than 10, same, and 30 Max inhabitants, and despite being either above or over, the connect all tiles and under 30 are both a fail every time... So you can't finish the campaign that way.

The instructions are spotty and incomplete. For example, some tiles have liabilities that are not explained in the rules or tutorial. The tutorial is cursory and short. It desperately needs a late game move or two to show players how to think about that. The strategy section is laughable and there is no explanation of how red lines work. The interface works great and is easy to use and understand. Obviously I could enjoy this game if I could learn it, but that is not possible with it currently.

The game itself is fun to play and the different levels and goals keep it challenging. However, this game can be quite buggy - a few times it has told me I've won and reached all the goals even when i didn't, and vice versa when i have reached all the goals it uses statistics completely different to the ones in my city and says i lost. Fix this issue and I'd give it 5* no doubt.

Downloaded for free yesterday. Learning curve, for sure. Tutorial could be improved. Been playing the single player campaign, but had to exit out of a level a few times now because I can't bring the "town" back into his street zooming out. So while I'm sure it's fun if you understand what's happening, the zooming issue is really annoying. And I think the overall UI could be better implemented.

So far, not good. On my Samsung tablet, the app's Start button is in the Bottom Right of my screen, but it's actually *layered under* the operating system's Home Screen button and Back button... so can't even start the game. Can play Campaign, but it's buggy and crashes with a runtime error after every game. Not good.

The underlying game itself is good. But this rating is purely for the app. Mechanics of the app seem to work fine. The instructions for the single player game are very bad. The first level says "Connect schools to the university". I've lost twice for not doing this. I'm assuming now that at least one school has to be directly adjacent to the university? I shouldn't have to guess what the win condition is! Improve the grammar so players don't have to guess how to win

Great Game...but a few suggestions: 1) need a campaign save progress function across different devices. 2) needs a zoom out function to get a COMPLETE VIEW of the played tiles; it is crazy having to drag the screen around so much. This is especially true in Campaign mode as the tiles are spread so widely. (More specifically, the zoom in function works fine, the zoom out function doesn't go far enough in my opinion.)

Good game, but plenty of bugs! I found the tutorial under hints. It wouldve been better if the tutorial popped up as skippable when you first open the game. Second, zooming in means potentially losing position and lose the display of tiles all together, in other words it has happened multiple times where i zoom in and the tiles vanish. Then I'd have to exit and lose. A tile says "for every adjacent (whatever), +1 population" it also counts every single connected green tile. Fix the bugs please.
