Very bad app. There is no way to try the looks/hairstyles, as you can't navigate from the hair color section. Plus even in there it's not as functional as it may seem. Frustrating and can't stand the app. Deleting it.

The main feature that I downloaded this for does not work. Fix the "try a look on me" feature. It let's you take a pic, choose a model or select from your gallery but it's as if the feature crashes after that and refuses to work and goes back to the home screen.

L'Oreal, really??? Are you seriuos?? Does anyone from your app development department even read these comments?? Uninstalled it months ago since it was totally useless, tried it again, and guess what - still useless! Developers, what are you doing?? The camera oval should be lower, because this high it crops the hair on top + there are still no styles offered, just haircolor changes (which are lousy, anyway). I simply cannot believe that the app was updated just days ago!!! Updated how???

Omg it's terrible. I honestly can't even get a decent photo of my face in the damn oval face spot. I can't move the oval which would make it way easier as it's up higher instead of centered. I just want to 've able to decently try some hairstyles but as with every app it's damn near impossible.

The worst app ever I used to use L'Oreal all the time and I'm disappointed that the app is nowhere near as good as I used to use years ago. I tried to take a photo of me and it said I needed to add a color first so I added a color and I swiped down back to the camera and it took a picture and suggested I try this color at the salon or something. it did not let me try hairstyles as I expected . I couldn't find a way to do that and I thought I could . Poor app get your stuff together!

Glitches galore, makes app impossible to use. Oval for placing face in the Try A Style is unnatural and forces you in a strange posing position. Keeps freezing, crashing, won't scroll through options, style option pictures don't load. etc. Is anyone even trying to fix these issues bc this has been a problem for MONTHS.

Whenever i used the "try a look on me" feauture and i uploaded or took a picture the app crashed instantly and i couldnt use it so it was basically useless, (i had the use my camera option on so it did have permission, and there was no reason for it to not work) i tried many times but couldn't, even turned on the "this app can determine your location using gps satellites" (im not sure why you would need that for me to use the try on looks feature) and it just dosent work.

This app is very hard to understand. I was trying to see how a certain haircut looks on me but I got too frustrated after trying for 15 minutes. Bonus when I click on the video above to see how it works it says it can't play it. Plus I noticed choices are male/female. Get with the times. Maybe facial structure would be better than asking these two limited questions. I thought L'Oreal was a forward thinking company... You need to go back to the drawing board with this app.

This app is terrible, when I went to the "try a style on me" tab, it would only let me change the colour of my hair, but it was like a filter, it barely did anything! This app should be updated so it's easier to understand, or if it's just colours you can do to your hair, THEN SAY THAT IN THE TITLE

The app claims that you can try different hairstyles and colors, but I just didn't see that. It did, however, allow me to create a profile for my upcoming appointment. To me, it just seemed like an advertisement for L'Oreal Services without any actual benefit to the app user.

Does not work & not user friendly. Waste. 1. Cannot choose specific photo from your gallery. If you have 3000 photos, you need to scroll through all to get to a picture you want. 2. Cannot move or adjust picture size when you eventually get to the picture you want and have selected it. 3. When you pick a color, nothing happens.

I downloaded the app to use the "Try a look on me" feature. It didn't work. The camera was incredible laggy and you basically need to use a selfie stick to get your face in the tiny oval that is the face guide.There was also no instruction whatsoever as to how to use the app. Furthermore, the models and the hair overlays are horribly photoshopped.

The app is still very buggy unfortunately. It also lacks a short tutorial to actually explain how to use it, which would have been ok if it were more intuitive to actually use. From what I could tell there were not many options to adjust my photo either e.g. resize/align/indicate where my features were, which made it hard to actually visualise the desired changes/filters the app is intended for.

Hilariously bad. As you might expect, this only works if you are light haired. It looks like what happens when you go over your hair with a coloured brush on photoshop and add a filter to it, except a human hand would remember not to colour in all the surroundings too! I even used a white background to give the app a chance. Might be fun for blondes though?

Maybe not perfect, but I'm rating 5 stars because such a low overall rating isn't deserved. It's a solid app, and in my opinion, the quality of effects is quite good considering you are supposed to apply hair colours on your current hair, so it's normal to not be as bright or strong as expected. Overall, it was a very good free app, and I think you did a good job.

Long story short- it sucks. The only things you can do are 1- take a quiz that does absolutely nothing 2- take a picture of yourself and add a color filter that adds barely any color (it's like having a lamp next to you with a pink lampshade versus a purple one) and 3- look at a version of google maps that is considerably worse at everything Google maps is okay at. I wanted to see haircuts- nope cant do that. I wanted to change my hair color- nope, cant do that either. It does absolutely nothing

What a disappointment!!! Now I understand the extremely low rating which I completely ignored, only because of this being 'L'Oreal' (a higher-priced brand which you expect more from...) It does not upload the picture properly. Also will not let your photo be properly centered in the face marker so the styles that are given for option are useless. Uninstalling.
