Wonderful nostalgia trip. Loved the original on my Mega Drive, so paying a couple quid to have it ad-free on my phone was a no-brainer. Having the option to save makes it even better than the original, although using the controls on your phone is never quite as easy given you can't feel the buttons. Thinking a dedicated smartphone game controller might be a worthwhile investment.

Amazing classic. The controls are OK, probably the best you'll get on a touch screen with the style of game, so good job there. I paid the couple quid to remove ads and it's well worth it in my opinion. I've come across just one problem and that's why it lost a star. It was working absolutely fine for a while but now won't let me save a game, everytime I try it just freezes my phone. Tried deleting and reinstalling but same outcome! Such a shame because it's a job well done.

One of my favourite Sega games ported to mobile! A neat idea, but not so good control wise, as expected. Brings back so many memories though, when I was younger me and my dad would play on the Megadrive together all the time! It's nice you can save and rewind, but widescreen would be a nice addition. I think I'll stick to Megadrive Classics on my PS4.

The game is great fun just getting into the streets of rage games but the controls are a little on the unreliable side all in all great game

Good and classic. Touch screen controls might drive you a little mad but since they can be moved around and adjusted how you please it might help with some of the complications. All in all, it's SoR2 on the go.

Great game, however implementation of the rewind feature has broken controller support (at least in my case is a PS4 controller), that whenever I press any button on the controller the rewind prompt comes up. Can you guys please fix this? Heck, even remove rewind if you have to, it wasn't there when these games came out originally on the systems so why have them now?

If it had KISHI support, a Razer controller made for phones, I would give it a 5. Lack of controller support brings it down one star, but without it, I can't really fo the classic SoR extended combo: jabbing while tapping forward between each punch. It's the safest way to deal with many big HP enemies for the first 4 missions. Trying to do that on touch controls is rough! So that costs the other star. Otherwise, it's a beautiful, nostalgic, great game. I wonder if the other SEGA games support...

The buttons need to be twice as big as they are. Your fingers are there anyway, so larger buttons won't block the screen. Also, the D-pad rarely works like you want. You want to walk a direction and it jumps. Jump kicks are a 50/50 chance it will actually work. It's too bad the controls are such a let down to a fun classic game.

I can beat the original on hard mode without losing a life but this one i died in level 6 but it was my first time playing. It looks to be an exact duplicate of the original game, the only difference I saw is the developers forgot to add the extra life in level three under the alien swinging vine thingie.

I had this game growing up and was so happy to have it now. There have been no problems up until a few days ago. After The 1st level I noticed all of the sudden I can't move the character the way I want in any direction its like it freezes up and I've tried deleting it and then reloading and then that didn't work. I dont want to play until this bug I'd fixed so that's too bad because I've had it on my phone for soo long, and if it doesn't get fixed then I'll have to delete it. ☹

The game is spot on to the classic! Worth the download! However, it lacks some physical controller support, which hampers down the true fun of the game. SEGA - Please add MOTO MOD GAMEPAD support for your classic games. The support it has is not complete and buttons do not work. NONE of your classic games work with the MOTO MOD GAMEPAD correctly. PLEASE FIX THIS! Thanks for your efforts in bringing these classics back!

Streets of Rage 2 - now available for your Android smartphone or tablet! Who would've thought?! 😀 This is one of the best retro side-scrolling beat-'em-ups ever made; it even gave Final Fight a run for it's money when it was initially released... This is the best one in the series, imo. You guys did an excellent job in converting this over; sideways mode on our phones and an extra button, even! Absolutely killing it - just like with the Golden Axe Classics. 5 stars all the way; thanks Sega!

*Great port of a classic* Really fun to play on the phone. Understandable that the on screen buttons have to be there, but they can get cumbersome at times, especially when tight controls are needed for some of the harder modes. Really recommend a controller for these types of games on the phone. The music is still great and it's a lot of fun.

I absolutely love the game. It brings back memories from when I was a kid. I have no complaints, except for the last few days the player does not move correctly. It just moves randomly no matter what direction u apply. Then it freezes all together. So I will not be playing the game until this problem is fixed. It's just odd that it has all the sudden started, and im clearly not the only one. Please fix, otherwise I will delete and just stick to playing it on my Sega console.

I find the controls to be just little bit more stiff than using a controller, but that is unfortunately to be expected with touch controls. I recommend enlarging the buttons and moving them around for a better fit if need be. But the biggest problem I ran into was after completing the first stage, I pressed the Save icon a few times. Nothing was happening, but the app closed. I reopened it, but my progress had not been saved. I'll raise the score if the situation improves.

The game is great as always. Visuals are just how I recalled, steady framerate, and the music as well is awesome. I only wish the dead zone on the controls had a a wider radius. They work fine enough, but even when resized there is little leeway where the input registers. Otherwise the port is surprisingly well made. Fix that one problem and I will love it.
