The app is useless, Company and Service is great. I have used STW since their debut. The app however.. In the middle of typing in payment information it changes to a completley unrelated screen, or shuffles through multiple screens. Will not allow you to add airtime to reserve if you have a current active plan, choosing the button to do so and confirm send you to another unrelated screen canceling all the information you added. will also swich through screen when not even pressing any buttons.

The app would no longer work with my older phone, but when I got a new phone it worked just fine on it. To me that says that the older phones were purposely phased out on the app. Not cool at all. Now that it works on the new phone though you cannot find the place to put in a pin you got from a card. This needs to be front and center! this is what the app should be for 100%! The app pushes to put in a credit card way too much. I will never give you my credit card info.

Straight talk has overhauled their My Account app. It was not broken and they should have left it alone. On top of its lack of needed functionality, their customer service IS actually in need of an overhaul. I have called three times today for phone service issue. Three times I have attempted to get help from a human and been disconnected without my problem being addressed, much less resolved. I've had Straight Talk service for 10 years, but am seriously considering switching carriers.

This phone service was good but recently we have been having trouble after trouble and having to call several times just to get things right. Sometimes calls are dropped. The app doesn't work so we went to Walmart to get it and it still didn't work and had to call to square things out. I'm done with straight talk. I advise people to not get straight talk. Unreliable. Oh yeah after a certain amount of time the " unlimited" is not unlimited it slows way way down to unusable. So false advertising.

Have to log in repeatedly. The website is the same. Crashes all the time. WASTE OF SPACE on my phone, which is also trash. New Galaxy A54 from straight talk. Have had to factory reset 6 times since October due to crashes, not connecting to wifi and mobile data not working, and incompatible software updates. I am looking for a better service and will switch asap.

I have been with straight talk for about 6 Yrs. I haven't had a problem until this month. I can't access a lot of sights & and when I can it takes forever sometimes up to 10 min. My data had shown I had used 100 GB in less than 2 weeks. I'm old and I don't get on my phone only for calling or texting. I used to play free solitaire. I've deleted it thinking that might be the problem. I went to to Verizon yesterday they reset everything and said it's ok. It's not. It took 3 min to bring up my strai

Always kicks me back to the main screen. Acts up all the time! Often tells me my info is incorrect/doesnt exist. Has no problem taking my payment at all! When I call someone, it comes under someone else name that I've never met let alone heard of. The longer I'm on the app and navigate about, the more often it kicks me back to the main screen. Very frustrating when trying to shop for upgrades. I shouldnt have to keep clearing the cache every 5 min. They cant get info correct!

Slow, buggy, and unreliable. I'll be looking at my account info after logging in and it wants me to sign in again but won't accept password or fingerprint. 90% of the time, I have to force the app to stop just to close it. It takes a couple seconds from the time you press a tab for it to acknowledge and process. On top of it all, the app doesn't have a clean design to it. Just log in using the browser and save yourself the headache. EDIT: nothing against straight talk itself, just the app.

You would think with all the complaints, straight talk would try to do something about their ridiculously buggy app that seems to never work more than half the time. Constant error messages when logging in, server times out, certain features don't work...cmon, Straight Talk, this is ridiculous. I mean visually it looks horrible as well. Y'all need to just scrap this app and start fresh.

I like having this app for the widget, it allows me to see how much data is left until the next due date. However, the widget is way too large, pretty much takes up an entire page. I have to get rid of the app, as it likes to turn on my wifi by itself. I have taken the app permissions away, and it still turns on my wifi. I turned off everything on my phone that would turn wifi on, and this app still manages to turn it back on. Filthy.

I have the unlimited plan with hot spot. I hardly ever have basic service. Someone calls, doesn't even ring. Can have my phone in my hand, then all of a sudden, I get a notification that I have a voice message. Service is very sketchy, have to go outside and walk around just to hear tge conversation, or them hear me. Trying to conduct business calls this way is very frustrating. Most of the time I get. Notice of no network. I'm going to have to change service providers.

Turn around and Run, don't walk, to a better cell phone provider! I was with Verizon, and I only thought customer service was the worst. We opted for Straight Talk...I know, same company...I am now running back to Verizon, after 5 weeks on Straight Talk. Everything has been an issue, from porting my phone, to actually being able to use the phone, to renewing the plan. The app is complicated. The people are horrendously unhelpful. RUN!!

The setup of the app is a bit cluttered and unorganized. I often have a hard time finding what I need. But the reason I left this review is because ever since I got my new phone, the phone service has worked.. but my data wont show up at all. I still have 3 remaining GB and would really like to use them. I've tried restarting my phone.. turning the data off and on (on my phone and on the app itself) and nothing seems to work. Please help.

For the first 6 months it was awesome. Did what I needed no problems or issues at all with the App itself. But now the last month and a half or two it wont let me on because it just continually crashes every flipping minute. Like literally keeps crashing. As soon as it crashes it just crashes again n again n again...etc!!! So if I could give it negative stars I would. It's to bad because I WAS really happy with the app before.

Verizon ruined it, I've been a customer for 10 years roughly. They had great service and alright customer service/user friendly apps. Recently I don't get notifications for my service renewal, the service connection isn't as good it's gotten spotty, and I can't access the app anymore. Any number of deletes brings up the same error. I'll definitely be switching

I am pretty upset right now. I can't even log into the app half of the time. I had auto pay set-up through the app to avoid issues and recently switched credit cards to pay. It ended up not taking and my service was disconnected, I couldn't log on to the app, and I could not log on through my phone at all. I was lucky my boyfriend had his phone available, so I could reactivate my service. I will definitely be looking into getting a different phone plan soon, as the quality of service has dwindled and the phones you get through the service start messing up after just a few months. Extremely disappointed, as I had liked the price.

Constant app crashes and errors. Had to reinstall a few times. Honestly, I should ask for a years worth of free service for the last time this happened; my service suddenly turned off and I was thinking that I could just pay my bill. Well, apparently not, since I can't even login on the app with the number I just used last night. Edit: While I recognize that most people have support issues, my problem comes in at that the whole system seems to be buggier than an ant farm, which needs fixing.

Straight Talk is a decent option if you're in need of service quickly without a lot of cash. They have a decent selection of phones for under $100. However, you will get what you pay for. My network service has gone out at a dozen times for no reason, the app is terrible, customer care reps are generally lackluster, & even when they admit their service failed you, they don't offer anything to compensate you for any inconveniences. In sum, they're ok until something goes wrong, which is a lot.

I don't think a 30 mb file should take 2 hours to download no matter how many hops your traffic makes, it's always gotta be a parallel download to a phone security bundle simultaneously conveniently timed to make it so you can't get a data connection subsequent to activation before you download a security update that conveniently has itself poised to occur automatically on the WiFi network you're forced to connect to TO activate your phone... it's all just too perfectly synchronized

Was on the silver plan, worked great. Loved it. I recently switched to the bronze plan which comes with 10gb data then drops to a slower speed. I regret doing that! DO NOT DO ANY PLAN LOWER THAN SILVER!! The data you receive after the 10gb is gone is absolutely horrendous it's worse than dialup. No joke! You been warned! Silver plan=5star. Bronze plan= -5 stars.
