I love getting unbiased news, and the feature of linking to other news sources, left, right and neutral, is fantastic. My only request, at this time, is to add dark mode as an option. thx!

the built in screen rotation without the setting to halt it cleverly prevents one from reading on their side in a conventional orientation. entirely unique in this and cant begin to fathom why and who thought this was a clever feature or design

I mostly would go to the news's site directly i.e., NY Post, Daily Mail, VOA, NPR, Paris Match, etc. Lately i also use Flipboard for various curated news. First time today i downloaded this SAN app as i heard great things about it. So far so good, "straight arrow" like they claimed. I will continue and see if San will meet or even exceed my needs and wants in "news digesting" before i can offer it a 5 stars ratings. (Sorry, i am just such a miser when it comes to ratings :-) but 4 is excellent!!

Forget Fox and CNN - I've been using this for over a year, and I've been really pleased. I love to see the pan of how right/center/left are reporting articles. I also love the opinion articles which clearly state they are an opinion. Like others I've yet to have a single notification despite having the notification set to on. That's my only real critique.

It's interesting and somewhat sobering to plainly see that I actually an prejudicial in my news consumption habits. SAN appears to not shrink back from presenting news stories that cover an uncomfortably (for this reader anyway) broad political spectrum. I have to force myself to open the app, to read, and to trust that I'm getting a more complete picture of the real world. Only four stars; I pretty much never give five.

So far, so good.. Interface is clean, and ease of use is right up there. Looking for them to add more width in news coverage across the world

Great idea for a news app. Finally just the facts with unbiased opinion. Would be great if video player allowed you to increase playback speed to consume content more quickly. Also picture in picture mode would be useful to have news video playing while reading or consuming other apps.

I especially like knowing which news stories are published or not based on the political leaning of a news organization. And having a better understanding about which news orgs are more "center." Thanks SAN for sending light on this. Great job in getting to the facts and exposing the biases!! Keep up the good work!

Not a lot of articles; focus is on most current having high relevance in 5 categories. Each article carries 3 bar graphs (Red, Blue, Center) showing % of that media covering the story. Articles then seem to focus on Facts, w/o opinion. Good app. 👍

This is how news should be presented to everyone! It plainly shows what articles got coverage by which news outlets and you can choose to look at the same story from multiple sources from different perspectives. The media missed section is the best!

They say they are center and do not lean left or right. At first, it does seem this way, but I have seen several articles that cleverly lean slightly one way by use of words chosen. The last straw was an article that omitted several facts and thus skewed the story one way. If I wanted skewed articles, I could go anywhere for that. What happened to real news, the facts, all the facts, no fluff, so you can make an informed decision?

Solid foundation with informative and engaging content. The app’s potential is clear, but it needs some polish. The current design feels a bit rough around the edges, and the user experience could be more streamlined. With some improvements, this app could become a go-to news source.

I love the app features and format, the staff, and the breadth of news covered by the organization. I'm also a fan of Peter Zeihan's work so I'm glad he's connected with the organization. My only constructive feedback for the app is when I tap a notification for a news highlight, instead of the app opening to the article, it opens to the main page. Then I have to search the app for the story. Is this can be fixed it will make the experience more streamlined and intuitive for the user.

Such an amazing news app! My only gripe is that using a VPN that has built in ad blocking features prevents videos from playing altogether. The fix is to have a VPN that allows you to use split tunneling so that the app isn't running under a VPN connection. Little bizarre potential bug but other than that it's great!

Good stuff all around. The only problem is the inconsistency of landscape view for videos. When fullscreening videos, they only fill width-wise in portrait mode instead of landscape. It makes it hard to enjoy the content when I can't fully see it. Only the daily news brief from a push notification seems to operate correctly.

The application should abide by the system orientation settings, because trying to use it in Portrait mode on my phone is like playing with an unstable tray of food, or even playing the marble game "Labyrinth": one wrong move, and it topples over to whatever orientation the app thinks it's in. And I have my phone's screen locked in Portrait mode. User beware: if your hands are unsteady, do NOT download this app. (Update: updated app, issue seems to be fixed. Rating upped by one star.)

I'm elated that someone has taken this long needed approach to news reporting. only facts. shows you who's not reporting it, and gives you links to those outlets that are (in case you want to read more from a more biased source). thoughtful, useful, elegant. thank you!

Just got this and as I'm looking at it I could not be happier or more well pleased! I'm looking for to YouTube for my unbiased news. Graphics are clean, clear, modern, very nice. Font color in articles is too gray for me to read easily against the white background, but maybe someday they'll have a dark view for this app? Special features like Media Miss™ & such are fantastic. I couldn't ask for more! absolutely delighted and highly recommend!

The app is good the stories are very well done and I love the idea of showing the media slant on every story. But I have one gripe every time you watch a video on the app they prompt you at the end to download the app. So if I am watching more than one video on the watch tab every 2 minutes it will prompt you to download the app. It would be an easy fix for them do do and just cut that off for the media player in the app. Overall great way to get news.

Looking for a replacement for Haystack's buggy app & so far really liking this one, but it also has some annoying bugs & room for improvement. Not sure yet if I'll be keeping it long-term but I'll keep using it for now & see if they fix these issues. Update: Few days later & the glitchiness is pretty annoying. Also, seems to use *far* more data than similar apps. Update: Down to 2*, just had 2 videos in a row that had nothing to do with their headline. Update: Barely use, too much bugginess.
