This app is awesome!!! It's just like Goodreads, except that it provides so much more data!! Things like what kind of pacing or vibes a book has is listed and, based on my experience, is spot on!! I also love the social aspects, which include buddy reads and read alongs. These are done better than in discord, as comments are hidden until you mark that you've read past the page number required! All really well done, totally free, and a great UI. Can't recommend it more.

I switched over from Goodreads years ago and have never looked back. Storygraph is so awesome and there are so many wonderful features available at the free level. I really love being able to look at my reading habits over the years with their graphs and being able to track how much I've read by the page/minute

There are some really awesome features of this app that I have been really enjoying. Unfortunately, the biggest thing holding it back in my opinion is the usability -- it is very unclear and hard to learn, and even basic actions are way harder to find and do than they should be given the intention of the app. I think some usability improvements could go a long way to making this app more appealing to use than goodreads! For now, I use both.

**Edit - Great response from developer and it's fantastic that the reason the app is bombing is because they are doing so great! Updating stars for now and will properly review when I can fully use the app . Looking for something other than Goodreads. App is slow and unresponsive, and clicking over to certain areas like friends/ connections just leads to a blank screen.

I absolutely love this app - I've been using it since June 2020 and it's everything I could want! It has amazing stats, great additional questions when you leave a review, better recommendations than Goodreads ever gave me, and they're always adding new features! I truly truly recommend this app to track your reading - and I read 170 books a year so I do a lot of tracking! It even imports a Goodreads library to make the transition easier. Give it a try!

Great app! I love getting all the data I do and to be able to track my readings? It's wonderful! I love the app. There are sometimes issues when switching between screens or adding books to challenges where the screens refresh and you lose your search. But it's a small thing and pales in comparison to how wonderful this app is!

A fantastic app to track your reading! I love that it's constantly improving and updating with users in mind, and that they take and implement suggestions from users. I love all the stats and data; the ability to filter by mood, genre etc.; the Reading Challenges, the (private) Reading Journal, international giveaways, the ability to track audiobooks; and DNF option. You can even import your Goodreads!

I LOVE Storygraph!!! If you're looking for an alternative to goodreads or an app to track your reading THIS is the one! It's SO customizable & I LOVE the reading challenges feature. You can easily sort your books by genre, mood, length, pub. date, and more. (Note: The reviews that mention the app not working are not up to date. At the start of the year there was a huge influx of new members and the site was down for a bit for maintenence/to move to larger servers. It works perfectly now!)

Super data driven book tracking app. It's incredibly user friendly and getting used to it took no time at all. Love the journal section, which is alot of fun, especially when I mark a book as complete and look back at my real time thoughts of whatever happened, or a quote that really stuck out to me. I won't even say this is an alternative to Goodreads: it's in a league of its own. I'll recommend this app/site to book lovers until the Internet dies.

I like this app. It is mostly user-friendly. And i enjoy the different stats they show. But I do wish that there was an easier way to track the format of a book. For example, under the book listing, just have a drop-down menu that allows you to select the format. Having to go to editions and find the proper format isn't very seamless and is kind of annoying.

This is a wonderful reading app, and has become my go-to for tracking all my books and reading. They are quickly responsive to issues and very open with their users about upgrades and changes that are in the works. Their stats features are unique and amazing and provide fascinating insight into your reading habits. I have recommended this app to many friends.

Storygraph is leaps and bounds ahead of its competitors. The algorithms actually help me find books that match my interests and moods, and the graphs are awesome for tracking what you're reading. You can sort and filter your TBR based on what you feel like reading in the moment. And the filters are meaningful, with genre, mood, pace, length, etc. I like this app so much that I started paying for it.

I've been loving this app so far this year. It's still very new and a few features don't work properly. For example, the "pace" chart auto sets all my books to medium pace, I hope this feature is fixed soon. Also, I wish there were more options for the "moods", the current options seem very limited. But, overall I am excited to continue using this app to track my reading progress.

This app is everything I ever wanted in a book tracking app. Sure, there are some things missing (grid view, author bio pages, an actual community gathering spot), but according to the road map, it's all in the works. I love the charts, I love how sleek the app and webpage are (miles ahead of how a certain other site works), and I am just in love with the whole thing. The import worked fine, but I did have to go through and manually update several books. I love this app!!

This is my favorite reading/book tracking app. I love that I can switch to which specific edition of the book I'm reading, if it's a physical book, audio, or ebook. I love all the data and graphs available to track my reading, love the reading streak feature. I also really really like the challenges! The fact that you can sign up for reading challenges that others create is awesome. This will be my second year as a Plus user and I couldn't be more thrilled with the app.

i really love how much data this app tracks, and for the most part i really love all its functions. my only two issues are that i wish there was an easy way to see all the buddy reads you start, and i agree with other reviews saying the way to mark book format is not intuitive. i wish there was a drop-down menu or something to select which format of book you're reading.

It works, no issues. The interface is pretty similar to the desktop version so I'm always clear on where to go for each item regardless of where I'm accessing it. The team is super responsive to questions, feedback, and requests. The graphs all work interactively on the app to drill down into sections. Any reviews from early January saying the app is down is just because of an influx of users at that time from people with resolutions. They fix it quickly!

I LOVE this app. It's easy to navigate and I love all the charts it generates regarding genres, pace, page length, etc. My only real complaint is that since the last update on 12/23, the app has not consistently loaded for me on my Android. Sometimes I get a page in Chrome pop up and say that Storygraph is under maintenance, other times the app just says it isn't working right now. I have tried refreshing the app, closing it and reopening, and restarting my phone to no avail.

So far, I am genuinely enjoying this app! I love the customization options to ensure you receive relevant book recommendations based on your reading preferences. I enjoy the Buddy Read option; it is the online book club I was looking for. However, the only problem is that mobile push notifications should be implemented. For example, when I want to send and receive messages with Buddy Read, I do not get any notifications telling me there is a reply in the group and vice versa.

I absolutely love the ease of tracking my reads and the feedback on types of books I like. However, I would not use this app for looking for reviews. I personally like leaving reviews for books on it, but I've noticed an overwhelming amount of reviews are talking about voice actors for the audiobooks and not the actual content itself and this is just not the place for it since the app doesn't track individual editions. So more of a community complaint I guess but it's so frustrating.
