How to play:

Fun, but the fact that you limit your opponents' time to answer without them knowing how much time they really have is a terrible design choice. If you type one or two answers extremely quickly and then immediately end the turn, you can cheese a lot of victories. This can easily be fixed by just showing the player how much time they really have rather than always having the timer set to 1 minute.

First of all, I love the game. The issue is I purchased coins only to have them disappear. I have emailed repeatedly and have been asked to send a copy of my receipt, which I have done 4 times, but I have gotten no response since my 2nd email. I am really disappointed. It is only $10, but it is MY $10. Edit: I have now received my coins after responding to their response to my rating. Thank you.

Way too many ads and since when did the word xylophone not count for a word that starts with "X"?!?! I have put in several inputs that made me wonder why it doesn't count. Also, I hate playing against people who put one word in 5 seconds and end the timer. So the opponent (you) can only have 5 seconds to guess a word. This game could have been fun...

Worth the little $2 to get rid of all the annoying ads. Love it. Still some room for improvement though; I've noticed random inconsistencies with same answers given at different times, sometimes accepted and sometimes not; or singular version marked as rare over the plural version. Should also limit advantage of selecting categories. Still an addicting game and a fresh breath of air from your other addictive word game.

It's a fun game but the ads ruin it. I swear I'm not even exaggerating, you click a button, it makes you watch an ad. Ok that's fine only one. Then you click another button to get to the game, it gives you an ad. Then another and another and another. It's ridiculous. I have many games with ads but this has to be the most ads I've ever seen in a game. I recommend just looking for something similar to this app. The ads are actually crazy and ridiculous. Fix your app

This would be fun if not for 3 things. Word scoring seems completely random. In one game I got half a point for aardvark, my opponent got a "rare" point for anteater. Next time I used anteater, I only got half a point. Another time I used "futon," my opponent got a rare point for "futons." Second, players often cheat by stopping the clock after inserting one word, so you lose because you had 5 seconds to look at the categories. Third, way too many ads, you spend more time watching than playing.

First game I've ever enjoyed the concept but had to quit due to ads. The ad spam is unreal just to take your turn you have to watch as many as 3 10 second ads. You will literally be playing the game less than 1/2 the time and watching ads the rest. I have no problem with a free game having ads but this was absolutely ridiculous. Note to developers (I know you need to make money, but isn't there a stopping point where it drives down profits by removing potential ad consumers.)

Look it's a great game but I've had many things right on this game and they apparently are wrong...like for example "birds" and I put a pintail duck... And apparently that's not a bird? It's a good game just sometimes frustrating when you know something is right and yet you still lose. Sometimes it's a game winning answer. Should be a system in place to challenge it, not just reporting it for "next time". Please fix this.

I have always really loved the game. I find it really addicting and I love how you can come up with obscure answers and they can still register as correct. However. I have a Galaxy s10 plus and the game is not formatted to fit my phone. The top and bottom of the screen are black and it doesnt look very good. This app would look so good if It was updated to fit correctly. Please do this and I will change my review to 5 stars.

Upgraded initial review to 3 stars because after all it's fun. The developer is responsive but there are still issues with good words not being accepted and they still have confusion on the difference between ASTRONOMY and ASTROLOGY Previously 1 star: Among many other instances of correct answers not being validated, it didn't give me "Cranberries" as a valid answer for a music band. The ADS became way too many and the issues were not solved. Many times, it doesn't accept perfectly fine words.

I decided to give this game a try despite the negative reviews about ads, because I tend to be able to ignore in-game ads. However, this truly is excessive. The fact that the game rounds are sometimes less than a minute, followed by sometimes a full minute of 30 second ads back to back absolutely ruins the game play for me. Being able to watch ads for lives or for boosters would be preferable, but as-is, I cant give this more than 2 stars

The amount of ads, or rather, the frequency of them is a very big turn off. Each round lasts no more than about 60 seconds, often times less if you or your opponent "Stops". There's an ad between every round and game. That's an ad every minute. Literally. I understand that creators need money, but you need to find a way to balance it so it doesn't mess with the flow of the game.

It's a fun game but however, you get a couple lives and when the wheel is spinned, and the categories are picked, some of the categories may be impossible. For example, one of the categories could be pick a animal and the letter could be X. That might be impossible. And the fact you only get limited coins, kinda infuriates me. You might be able to get more if you win but it's a difficult game for me. The time is 1 minute and I dislike that. Maybe 3 or 5 minutes? I wish it could be chosen.

The game itself is fairly fun, however it takes way too long waiting for your opponent. If there was an auto or practice mode where you could continuously play, the game would be better. I also feel as though the letter almost always stops somewhere at the end of the alphabet. Anyway, it was ok for a bit, but not one I would keep or recommend at this time.

WAY TOO MAY ADS!!! You answer one round and there is a 30 second ad. EVERYTIME!!! I love the game but my goodness, chill on the ads or I WILL UNINSTALL!!! Updated review. January 9, 2019. I will be uninstalling this game. So tired of the ads. Again, I answer one question and a 30 second ad, I answer another question, and yet another 30 second ad!!! My goodness people. Let us play at least one round for goodness sake, WITHOUT an ad, PLEASE!!! I may be back but don't count on it!!

I love this game, but the scoring makes no sense. Sometimes the opponent and I have answered the same amount and it's a draw and other times, one of us is declared the winner even if we answer the same amount. I have lost games where I have 5 answers without the "R" and finished before my opponent and they have answered 5 with the "R" symbol on one or more words and they win. Too inconsistent and no explanation for it. But it's still a fun way to pass the time.

i enjoyed my time spent in this app. it's a good way to pass time. however, i did have an issue with whatever system checks answers; there were definitely some answers that i or my opponent said that were docked points without a reason, or were completely docked. kind of weird when the word is spelled 100% correctly and the system doesn't recognize it, but it's not the worst issue.

I really like this game - the app works well, the ads are minimal and the gameplay is quite enjoyable. The only thing I don't like about it is the notifications. It sends push notifications when someone plays, which I want, but it also sends them when I earn coins due to time passing, which I *don't* want. There is no way to distinguish the two and no way to have it send *only* the play notifications. Should be an easy fix, and I'd give it 5 stars if the devs took care of that one oversight.

Loves this game until the bots. Like Scattergories. 1 minute to fill 5 categories starting with a letter. If the first player finishes early, the second player only gets that amount of time to play. Too many times the other player completes in under 10 seconds. Humans can't even type that fast. I don't care about losing, but how can I even play if it stops in 10 seconds? Deleting.

way too many ads to the point it drains my phone battery. I'm not paying money just to get rid of the ads. I understand some ads, just not to the battery draining extent. It's a shame as it's a good game but uninstalling because of the ridiculous amount of ads. ETA Judging by the reply I got, my review was not understood. I have played other games that have ads to remain free and they are still enjoyable because it's not an overload. I have never, and never will pay to get rid of ads.
