In this game, embody the spider stickman.
Finish all the levels with the same agility as a spider.
For that, you just have to:
- Tap to hook and make incredible jumps
- Press your screen to hook your stickman with your grapnel and release to let go
- Avoid every obstacle that stands in your way
- Swing from hook to hook to pass all the levels

This game for sure has great potential, but it lacks some very key components. The issue of adds is more or less nonexistent with airplane mode enabled, but the real issue is in the difficulty of the game. The "challenge" levels are indeed a challenge, and also lots of fun. However, the regular levels, in no way, increase in difficulty or uniqueness. After playing through countless of levels, (340 levels to be exact) this game has gotten rather boring. This is the reason for the 3 star rating.

This game is amazing, there are tons of amazing levels, characters, ropes, and trails. I also like the idea of the lucky drop and how unlike most games, it is not rigged to where you get something decent every 5 days. But the only thing that is wrong with this game is that past level almost level 80, the levels become repeats. But overall this game is amazing and a great time waster.

Game is alright, but I had issues after the first ad was displayed. After the ad the game would hang at the end of each level with no option to continue to the left level, so I would have to go to the home screen, then click Play again to move on. This happened in every level after I got that first ad. Other than that nice game with smooth gameplay. I love the option to go ad-free.

Gameplay is simple, fun, and very addicting. Level variety drops off very quickly, and it's possible to break them so hard that there is no challenge to them (but that's part of the fun!) Way too many ads--fall off the screen? Ad. Beat a level? Ad. When the unskippable ads appear, it's faster to close the game and restart. The ads feel like punishment when you succeed. All said, still fun and worth playing.

ok, so there are 2 problems. one every time you die you have to watch an ad and u cant Exit out. 2 I'm a little disappointed that I have to pay $3.99 a month for no ads. Over all the game play is pretty good except for the problems. The game is nice and fun I do recommend this game. And i also reccomend this game if u enjoy watching ads. I dont recommend this game if your impatient and dont like ads. I personally like the game just not the ads. Please try and fix that or at least lower the price.

I thoroughly enjoy this game, the graphic design and visuals are engaging and make it fun to unlock new characters. My only feedback is the coding around the gameplay still feels clunky in this game. The physics are okay, not great, and trying to attach to the correct or next hook can be agravating. Swing Star isnt nearly as pretty to look at, but I find the physics around setting hooks to function better. I'd love for this to be improved, because, I really do enjoy Stickman Hook!

The levels are too short and repeat a lot. Every time you die or beat a level, an ad plays. It's funny because the ads last longer than the levels the game provides. The excessive amount of ads really holds this game back. They're annoying and are a HUGE turn off to players. Every time after you die or win is just unnecessary and annoying. The new update with the skins somehow made my experience with the game worse. Certain skins can lag your game, making your swings delayed and causes more deaths, thus triggering another ad. I couldn't even bring myself to play this game anymore after the update.

It's a great base for a game. I can genuinely see it being a full large game. It is a base though. It's fun, easy to manage, and exciting, however it is lacking in goals and things to really up the risk. Also ads after every level or 2, sort of obnoxious, but still ok.. although given the short time on each level, it is a lot Edit: I just played this again a year later, I don't remember playing the first time. But I still feel the same. Bit boring. Levels begin to repeat at 50ish.

It a really simple yet fun and addicting game. Yet I'm going to be uninstalling it, mostly because I watched at least 3x more ADs than levels I finished. Die = Ad, Restart level = Ad, Complete Level = Ad, and just in case you were tired of watching Ads over and over while you fail the same level again "WATCH THIS AD TO SKIP THE LEVEL!". I just wish it had a more bearable amount of ads cause other than that, it really is a fun game.

it's cute and fun at first. After 100 levels you realize that they are essentially all the same. So it got stale very quickly. There are 30 extra "challenge" levels, but after you do those, there aren't anymore. I play very little every day and have only had this game a couple days and am almost at level 500. The little avatars are super cute once you unlock them though.

I've played this game for years, redownloading every time I get a new phone. Lots of changes over time; some better and some worse. Unlocking the same things over and over is somewhat obnoxious, but it's just cosmetics. I wish they would reimplement getting to replay challenge levels. There's no way to level select in the current version. Two questions for the devs: Are we ever getting new events, and what is the highest level reached in regular play? I'm past 1,800 now.

This is a great game overall, but the ranking system is getting on my nerves because when you finish a stage and get a star sometimes when you get that star it puts you back a bit in the rank so you have to do more levels to get back to where you were. Also the ADS almost every time I finish a level an ad pops up which gets rid of the flow in the game.

Used to own the game on my old phone, and I plan to re-download it. Had a casual 750+ levels completed. (It ended up getting repetitive after a while, but the coordination you get from it is well worth it.) Correction on my last review. Ads apparently aren't minimal anymore. They're after each level or something, that sucks.

This game is literally insufferable! I can't play the game without being shown tournament results, from a tournament I NEVER joined or signed up for. It's best to turn off the Wi-Fi and play offline! No ads, no tournaments, nothing. Also, the levels repeat, and it's just.... This game has gone down hill. Never should've done anything to it.

The challenges should be more often, the level get super easy after you play for a while. Also the game has too many ads and glitches a lot. I wouldn't recommend doing the tournament because for me, every time I did it, when it was over it would give me the reward over and over again, I didn't get to play. Or the screen would freeze for I don't know how long.

Game's good but at a certain point the levels just keep repeating and changing the background gradient. Also considering the fact that after a certain amount of levels you just stop getting rewards from normal levels, it stats getting annoying to keep playing against bots while watching an ad every single time just to do it again. Please add a real multiplayer feature and make new levels.

Game is fun. However, as these other reviews below are saying, it keeps glitching with Tournament results and giving free coins! The coins are great, sure, but this makes the game unplayable! Everytime I try to click in to ANYTHING, the screen freezes with a blue screen! Please fix or I will have to Uninstall like I do with other useless games.

Downloaded this game as a time passer. I already know how these apps work by noe: a good few solid levels of intro gameplay, then the ads start. I don't mind it. I DO mind, however, when the tournament function glitches out as soon as it is unlocked. The "trophy" screen pops up continuously, over and over, interrupting the level and rendering the game unplayable. It was cool for about 10 seconds, due to the glitch throwing coins into your account... but the coins are useless if I cannot play.

It's fun for a time, but after a while it gets boring and the amount of ads is annoying. An ad after most levels and even when I watch an ad voluntarily, I still get a required ad. And watching ads for every single reward sucks. I only play for ten minutes at most and then if I uninstall it, I can't connect to any cloud so I loose all my characters.

The game itself is alright, simple concept--but the ads are genuinely tedious. Every two fails on a level? Ad. Trying to play the tournament? Ad. The physics of the game are really janky and hard to control. It is WAY too easy to lose momentum and eventually get stuck. Overall, I don't hate it but it's too tedious to love it.
