I completed ST1 so thought I'd give the sequel a go. Loaded fine but now it's stuck on a map screen and I can go no further no matter what I click. Also, you took a good game and made waaaay too complicated. The system of upgrades is confusing. Having to build factories, then use parts and money. And green stuff. You don't appear to be able to upgrade during battle, so what you take in you're stuck with wether it works or not. You went too far. Dial it back.

More complex than the original (don't know the original? well, maybe you should try either ones. It's a unique Tower Defense game, trust me 😎), but also far more grindy. Best if you play the game more casually, just a few battles every few hours, otherwise the energy systems will really annoy you. Playable offline, so stay that way unless you need something online (maybe you want to watch ads?). Decent Google Play Achievements, not too many XP, but the first few aren't too hard to get either.

I really enjoyed the first one, particularly for its art direction and music. The gameplay was simple but very elegantly done. This edition has some misses, sadly. The introduction of more complexity isn't a bad thing, but it comes at the expense of good pacing. The addition of other currencies didn't feel well thought out, and the extra colours that came with them did no favours to the steampunk vibe. It feels like the game partially morphed into something more cartoon-ish.

I do like the take on the tower defense genre. There is planning to do as well as micro management. All in a stylish steampunk look. Graphics are stylized but nicely done. Micromanaging guns can be fiddly and sadly there is no option for each tower to define what kind of target (strong/weak/fast/ground or flying etc.) it should prioritize. For me however (and a reason i have deducted one star) there seems to be a bug? (maybe it is my phone..) I just finished my industrial center to lvl4 .. and the game starts but does not register any touch. So i cannot click on anything. Too bad..

As a person who's completed the game 100%, I can say that the game is very good and it contains a great story. However, the game is slow paced and I every time I passed an objective, sometimes there were dialogs where you could easily miss and couldn't replay. These were the only frustrating parts of it, the rest of the game is good and I do recommend you to play it as well.

I like the game and the gameplay mechanics. The only downside is the chaotic menus. When I upgrade some building I always forget which building it was and you can't click on it, it just shows remaining time. There is quick access to fuel building, why? No idea. Campaign map is nice and easy to read. The city interface is just hell. Tower building hidden in the corner. The city interface needs total rework, it's really annoying how chaotic it is. Overall good gameplay, bad interface. Worth a try.

I finished the game and it was a fantastic experience. It brings more innovation than the first one and it has a great campaign, a well written Story and doesn't get boring as you progress through the game. It has a bright customisation of the Towers and you have absolutely no pay to win here, you can achieve everything on your own without grinding. However the chapters were a bit too easy and doesn't get really hard at the end. But still, it's worth to play it. GJ Developers, keep it up!

A solid game. However the step towards monetization is blatantly obvious. Like the shop button being the biggest one on screen, fuel mechanics forcing you to wait, buildings taking a long time to upgrade, basically everything wants you to not play the game. But the gameplay itself is great as ever, the story is amazing and the tower defense is fun and engaging.

My son (10) & I love this little game! It's a little gem with beautiful, stylized vintage/steampunk graphics and a fun storyline tying the battles together. After playing some other ganes, I reakky appreciate how unobtrusive the ads & purchase options generally are. You could go thru the entire game without watching an ad or paying, but it does help speed things if you want. Everything seems available from daily awards & play, tho I would watch ads & spent a few bucks out of appreciation.

Honestly, i Love this game! Its got a much needed improved upgrade/economy system over the original, which benefits are greater thanks to the new leveling n such, and the combat works a bit more fluently than before, so it was done VERY well with this..However, the thing is that as of the new update, there is a glitch saying you still need parts from the previous update, so if you dont already have them, you're outta luck..please fix soon!

The concept is great however the game needs balancing. The resources of gold and etherium are to easy to get, however parts to upgrade the guns are way to hard to find. In addition, you have to have a certain experiance level to upgrade your buildings to move forward. However I have completed all of the side missions (which give experiance), and one only pops up every 8-12 hours. At this rate it could take me weeks to get to the next level. I cant even buy my way out! This is a true game flaw!

Was a fun game for the first 5 min. When "victor" was ready, it stopped working. The button it told me to click did not work. Tried restarting, froze at that spot each time. Too bad. I was definitely interested. Just went ahead and uninstalled. Not going to waste space on a non functional game. Edit: Gave this game a second chance. Froze even earlier than the first time. Didnt even get to victor this time. Lowered to 1 star. DEVELOPERS! Fix your game. Its little more than a .gif at this point.

The gameplay, defending your tower, is pretty good. Moving turrets to the middle to quickly reload in-between waves is fun. Just one problem though, when you don't have enough fuel for a mission, you're (mostly) stuck waiting half an hour or more just to play the main part of the game. Never mind the long construction times, never mind that you have to spend premium credits just to use your super weapons after the first free use, I could've given the game four stars if it weren't for the fuel mechanic.

I do enjoy the game but I would change a few things. During battles: when you upgrade a tower there is no indication of which towers are the strongest. You have to select each individual tower to see the stats. I also wish you could select for certain towers to ignore units, such as wasp only attacking air at certain times. At base: when upgrading units there is no indication about what the parts are doing. It's too easy to recycle upgrades, should have to confirm. Interface is a bit cluttered.

It's a huge improvement from the first game, adding a variety of features and mechanics that allows players to grow their own base and personal turrets. But when I reached the first boss, it was insane! Guided rockets swarmed my tower almost every 10 seconds, and my my turrets were shocked into submission, rendering them immobile and useless against the high damage rocket swarm. There was also a bug on the boss where power-ups are still fuctioning when it says they're not allowed for the level.

Fun game, definitely more to do than the original. 3 stars for the avalanche of ads which I'd gladly pay to remove, but there's no option for that. Did you just touch something on the map? Watch this ad. Did you just complete a mission? Watch this ad. Did you just switch from city view to world view? Watch this ad. So. Many. Ads!

Really good game, a lot of fun. I feel like the quality control could be a little better, there are a lot of typos and syntax errors in the character dialog, there is a bug with the super weapons where if you use it as a mission is ending, on your next retry or start that last used super ability will be usable/active. The concept is original and fun, the upgrade system keeps things interesting, and I feel like you could definitely play and win without $ if your patient
