Useless. It was working fine before the latest update but after updating it, we can no longer scan QR codes on the app itself. It's directing us to the browser where you can scan the codes. Such a hassle. I don't see any sense in installing the app anymore if we still need to do everything on the browser. I might change my review once this has been fixed, but for now, I'm so done with this poorly developed and useless app.

Your phone QR scanner is enough. You can uninstall this and it'll still scan the staysafe QR code. Before the update, I was able to scan QR codes but after the update, the scan option is not working. Its telling me to give permission even though I already gave one. So I did try to scan the QR just using my phone scanner and it worked. So I uninstall the app and it still works so unless you're going to permit it to use your Bluetooth thingy, then this app doesn't serve any purpose.

I hate the new update! The old version is better than the new. Because on the old version, it's more easy to to scan the qr code because it's inside the app. But the new version is hard, because if you press the scan button it redirects you to the browser, you really need to have your sim loaded by data to load the browser confirmation on the browser. Please be more considerate! Bring back the old version of the app!

The newest update is a mess. Why do we need your app if your app just redirects us to our browsers for us to scan? All transaction can be done at the browser, unlike before that it's done on the app. The waiting time after scanning a qr code is just a mess. Offices working on fast paced font have time to wait on the door just to scan again. Also. Instructions are unclear. Like "You already logged at this location" but I definitely scanned a qr of another office. Fix this because it's a req.

In all honesty, the older version was way better and simpler. The update drag time for the QR code scanning which by the way keep on asking to allow camera permission and that can't be allowed in my phone. (I'm not sure with some other phones.) I'm not quite sure what happened after the update since it's not so manageable already. I do hope the developer find the loopholes as this application is really needed with the current situation. Also, it really helpful. 💪

The recent update is worse. Covid 19 exposure notification is great. However the scan qr code is working differently from the past. why is it needed to open the browser just to scan the qr and even you allow the browser to use your camera it has an error message of "browser can't ask you permission". Most establishment use your contact tracing system hope you fix this. Thanks

I'm not able to scan QR codes from establishments because this app uses my Macro Lens instead of my Main Camera Lens in scanning QRs. It's a huge hassle. I hope you can resolve this issue. Update: Issue has been swiftly resolved. Thank you & stay safe. Update 2.0: The problem has reoccured and this time when scanning QRs, it opens up the browser instead of in the app itself.

The app's UI is great, very simple and user friendly. The system itself is amazing. I haven't tried the scanning yet, but then judging from the way from scanning the QR Code(that redirects to your browser) it requires stable internet connection, if there's already Free WiFi then thats Great, on the contrary, user needs to load up their mobile data in order to ride the vehicle, and that's quite a hassle. Finally, not all people can afford Mobile Phones please be more considerate, unless....

As the preferred contact tracing app by the government, I would have expected it to be highly functional. Yes, it can manage registrations and has the ability to collect symptoms data. Also, privacy rights are apparently protected when using the app. However, it does not work when scanning QR codes in establishments. I have tried in two separate establishments using the system but in both cases, it failed with an unknown error. I checked and the establishment has apparently registered with the system. I wanted to use in other establishments but only a few companies/government agencies are using it. Additional step-by-step instructions in-app may be required to assist new users.

Wth is it going to a browser to scan for an establishment's qr? Let me guess, some non tech guys wanted a bunch of new features(no prob) but wanted to implement it instantly (real stupid move) and here is what we have. Right? To add to its browser dependency issue, frequent OTP requests are due to my automatic browser cleanup. If this app could work its own camera without opening a browser, then this wouldn't be an issue. This is a basic functionality for apps you can learn to make in youtube.

Your update is a hassle! The older version is better because it's one-tap only. This new version, directing it to browser, has tendency to lose your info that you already entered. You have to do it again. Please make it user friendly! It's so much hassle especially when you're ready to enter the establishment. We only need the one-tap QR code scanner, info already entered, and history of visited establishments. No need for cases updates, we can already see it on the news.

Can't download the app unless mobile data is used. Codes are sent an hour after being requested, so they are already expired. I've tried at least 10 times, but I still can't register. If this isn't a travel requirement, I won't even bother downloading this. The website behaves the same, so I'm inclined to believe that the backend and API are the issues. Also, this is useless because you can just lie and you will still be given a QR code. This is an unnecessary nuisance.

This app is dumb. I typed the correct log in details, but it kept saying that I typed the wrong number/password. So I changed the password with forgot password feature, and then once successfully changed, I tried to log in again, but it locked my account for failed attempts. The website took too long to load, so I thought an app would be faster, but this one is non functional at all.

It became completely useless after the update. It redirects to the web browser when you press the scan button. It shows the message that the browser needs permission to access the camera and even though the permission was already granted it still would not work. The previous version was simpler but usable.

If we are going to talk about uniformity when doing contact tracing digitally, the app would be a great tool but since this is on its beginning, it has lots of bugs: loads slow, PIN can't recognize to log in(tried resetting it to log in). It's not user friendly in a way that elders who are not into this kind of app will have a hard time making an account, plus the need of data subscription/ wifi logging in. Hope that the developer will fix bugs for convenient use. Stay safe and healthy everyone.

Please allow in-app scanning of the QR code. The app only redirects you to a browser and even after changing the settings in the browser, it's still not working. This causes a lot of hassle in queues especially when entering establishments. Redirecting to the browser would also require you to re-enter all the info you already entered in the app so there's really no point in using this app. Previously, this app has in-app camera but when it updated, it no longer has that feature.

Can the app not forced us to update prior to using. Most of the time we just have limited data and cannot do the update immediately. It hampers us from using the app immediately, as needed. It's an inconvenience. ***Update on Update: The update was not a welcome development. It links to a browser to scan. It takes a lot of data to open a browser. The older version was better. How to undo the forced update?

Just for the purpose of checking whether it is really able to detect people with symptoms that are near me, I asked my husband to check one of the symptoms. His app registered him as having mild symptoms. However, when I clicked scan to see if it will reflect in my report, my result turned 0 mild cases considering he was just near me. His GPS and bluetooth were both on. I hope this can be improved to really capture accurate results.

Ever since the update, it's a lot harder to get to the QR scanner which is what I mainly use it for. I like the exposure notification though but it's still a 1 star for me until this gets fixed. Also, I doubt people would be turning on their BT for it since it drains battery faster but it is still worth a try. I think SG does this also. Anyway, please return the QR scanner back to the way it was. Thank you!

Actually, the app itself is functional (qr scan, camera and all). The problem, you have to figure it out yourself how to make it work for you. The GUI is confusing, not clear. Which is not good especially to those who are not that tech savvy. At least give instructions on how to make use of it at the start. The registration page will take you to uour browser-tap that big colorful heart in the app. Once done with that, to scan QR, you will be taken to that page too on your browser automatically
