When I first started using this app I was dinged for going 9 miles over the limit, even though i has my ASL (Automatic Speed Limiter) set to go no more than 8 miles over the limit. I changed it to go no more than 7 miles over the limit. So now we are good on speeding events recorded. Now since I've eliminated the chance of speeding, I get dinged for everything else. Braking too hard or accelerating too fast. SMH. This app has me paranoid to drive. HATE IT!!!

I keep this app for the discount, but its ratings of my driving are unrealistic. I continue to get low scores for "excessive acceleration," and yet at most of the Interstate on-ramps any thing that satisfies the app's criteria would result in a very dangerous situation -- trying to merge with highway traffic at a significantly lower speed. The same with braking. Staying in harmony with the traffic flow drops my score.

It was working just fine. Good thing I went to the app randomly one day instead of needing it during an emergency. The app locked me out because it needed an update. Then it locked me out of the updated version because it decided I needed a password change. Then it didn't send my password change link to my email so I gave up and uninstalled it. App people need to think. For instance, this app is used for needed services including roadside and emergency. If you do stupid stuff like lock someone out because they haven't opened the app recently, then make them update it and change their password then your app isn't useful for it's intended purpose. It should be accessible regardless and give warning that the user needs to perform maintenance tasks soon but still make the app useable for the moment. But don't listen to me. Nobody ever does anyway. I'll keep my paper cards and customer service phone number handy rather than wrestle with the app.

I honestly can't stand the login process. The password requirements were so stringent that there's not a chance I'll remember my password when on the go without having it written down constantly (super safe). Then when I was able to get biometric login, the app updated and lost the information so I had to go through the same headache of creating a new diabolical nearly 20 character password that I hadn't used before. Just my 2 cents. **Update** account is locked after password update...yay

I've tried just about every insurance company out there, State Farm is the best hands down. Customer service and discounts push em over the top. Prices stay fairly consistent, and all my policies right there in the app. It's not fancy but it's simple, reliable, and very easy to use and navigate and that's all I need and all I want. Simple and efficient. Thanks state farm for finally making an insurance app that's practical.

To be honest this app has been terrible. I have been trying to get a quote with 100% interest to buy the insurance. After filling out all the details the app is showing unable to quote and is displaying a list of agents in my area. I used the option to email them, text them, and even called them and left voice-mail. NO RESPONSE AT ALL. Then I moved to Geico, All-State and Progressive. All three are taking to the payment screen. I have decided to buy one from them. UNINSTALLING.

This app is extremely glitchy. I keep getting a "We're having technical issues" messages, renders this app as useless. The only thing it's good for is looking up the insurance card. *Update from 1 to 4 stars* The app seems to be improved and is less glitchy. They also have some added features like safety recall look up and maintenance lookup, which adds real value to the app.

I will give it 3 stars, but it can be improved. My car has hands free bluetooth for the phone so when I enable bluetooth the app will say I'm on the phone. The other is leave a place for comments. I live in the country and had a deer run out in front of me. The app will say hard braking don't follow to close to other drivers in their comment section. The other is about speed. This app goes through Google Maps and a lot of the speed limits on the roads in my area are incorrect.

Sometimes doesn't show insurance and have to delete and re-download the app to get it to show up, and even that doesn't work half the time. And 90% of the time if you're trying to pay your bill it doesn't show up and continuously tells you "couldn't bring up insurance bills". Way too expensive anyway and their roadside services are actually horrendous.

For months now I haven't been able to pay my insurance bill via the app. I must call my agent's office to pay. The app will make it appear as if I do not have a bill due and also gives no option to pay in that instance. Very confusing and frustrating, especially when you have been checking to pay (and being informed no bill is due) and receive a notification for an impending cancellation for non payment via mail. My app is on auto update and is on the most recent version.

Very dated, slow, horribly designed apps. It doesn't allow you to see all your insurance policies, due dates, and amounts in a clear way. List EVERYTHING on the dashboard clearly It tells you that it's due on the 12th. The twelfth of what???? I have 5 policies. It's a game of hide and seek trying to find the due date, amount owed in an easy way. I have a supplemental policy --- can't access the EOBs. I have used the app and the desktop version across multiple devices. Really bad

I have been with State Farm for about 7 months and there is hardly any of my info. on the app (or online). It only shows my very 1st initial payment (from months ago) under payments & none of my other monthly payments I have been making. I also never see a bill available on my account to look at. It's very different than any other insurance company we have used before.

Try viewing a property policy. Good luck. Flashes multiple screens then just churns indefinitely. Un-installed, re-installed rebooted to no avail. While other portions of the app do ultimately produce results the app seems quite primitive by todays standards with all the screen jumping and flashes. What was undoubtedly the greatest insurance company ever should be embarrassed!

Hate it! I can't make a payment. It tells me to put my Password in and then never get a forgot pasword. It says to send email address. NEVER GET IT! Every time I use it or try to, something has changed. NOW to make a payment without logging in you have to use a credit or debit card. I have always paid with my banking account. We don't use credit cards or debit cards to pay bills!!!!! I knew nothing about the changes until I tried to use it. I feel like you want people to be late to cancel them

I think the app worked better before all the updates. I use to easily have access to get my proof of insurance, copy of my Dec page, etc. now I can't ever get that stuff as easy. Drive safe and Save,. my premium went up 13.00 after the first 6 months and I didn't get any tickets or accidents. I drive maybe 30 to 40 miles a month.. literally. If someone pulls out in front of you or cuts you off you hit the breaks, it counts against you. you even touch your phone especially when using Gps dings u

Honestly. I don't really know why I stay with this company. they overcharge, It took 8 times trying to change my address to finally get it right? And when I had a claim, they didn't pay My new car was worth and when I disputed it. They told me that was too bad. They weren't paying anymore period even though I found the same car, exactly the same, 4 3 thousand dollars more.

The app allows me to pay my bill quickly each month, which is convenient. The main reason I downloaded the app though was for the automatic reminder that my bill is due. I ended up just setting a reminder through my calendar app because I stopped getting my reminders from State Farm about 5minths ago.😕 So for that reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Constant price increases! Why?? This is the only insurance I've ever had since I started driving, never been in an accident and for some reason the price is changing almost monthly. You'd think with many years of loyalty, and a good record, your price would drop throughout the years. Nope! If this continues, I WILL be going elsewhere. As far as the app goes, it's ok, but doesn't change the fact this insurance is losing it's mind (and it's customers).

Every time lately when I go to sign in it tells me my temporary password as expired and then I have to jump through hoops to get to my account it opens a different window and it wants me to start a quota when I already have one it doesn't feel safe and it is very annoying especially when you're trying to pay Bills before you go to work at 1:30 in the morning. This app used to work great somebody needs to stop messing with stuff or figure out what's going on.

Beyond annoying. Everytime I try to login to pay my bill my password is incorrect they won't let me use my fingerprint and will disable the pin option. When I go to reset my password every has already been used. I know my password but have to request it changed every single time. It also requires me to use like 3 different passwords. Beyond annoying and frustrating I just want to log in and pay my bill yet this app makes me jump through so many hoops just to log in.
