It was at 5 bars because I like the community and the positivity, but the app has bugs, lots of them, sometimes the audio doesn't sync correctly, the audio doesn't pick up my voice, the sound is horrible at times whit music quality and equilizer, and it likes to say there is a connection error, quite frequently. I enjoy this app, so I hope that these issues get fixed soon.

There's a lot of things on this app that needs more detailed explanations...IN ENGLISH!!! How to level up, become verified, get VIP, earn stars for ranking and such...there are no detailed explanations for any of this on the website or the app. Also the grading system for songs doesn't actually go on how well you sing, rather than getting the timing right. As long as it's in the right timing, you make an A+ or higher on the song. If all this was clear in english, I would give 5 stars.

I enjoy the app, especially the pitch change option. However, if feel that it's very difficult to navigate and find different settings. I am still struggling to figure out the option to delete a song that I posted. I also have noticed that even though there is no latency when I listen to the song saved as draft (after making the necessary adjustments), there's a latency issue after publishing the song.

Love this app. Great song selection, feedback from others, you never have to worry, your vocals will not matching the music like it did during recording when you play back the song, as I've found to big a big issue on other apps. It really is a lot of fun, even if you're not a great singer everyone is very positive in their comments. I highly recommend.

I am really enjoying this app. Song selection is great. However I use this app on my phone with a Bluetooth headset and I can adjust the latency for my audio, but then the video will not sync. Would really appreciate it if video latency would adjust with the audio otherwise I will not post videos as they will look awfully silly. 5 stars once this issue is resolved

I used to really enjoy this app, but all the recent updates have made it both confusing to navigate and impossible to understand. With no explanations, it has become more frustrating than ever. And if you are any sort of "talent" on there (or hope to be one), forget it. The qualifications keep changing & there are no explanations on how to to get or keep tags. Horrible changes to something that used to be great.

Haven't really understood the concept, in it's entirety, but it is pretty cool, in the capabilities that I do comprehend, like the duet features and overall audio. I do wish for the songs "coming soon", and guidelines for beginners. Now, in 2023, a revision to the latter, must be made. My efforts, not outstanding, have been made to better understand the additional features in this app. Honestly, I still don't get it. But I have currently over 600 songs in my library, so....10 stars?

I downloaded it a year ago, was terribly disappointed in it. Back then it was like they couldn't work out how to keep the music in time with the scale or the lyrics you follow. The approach is by far the BEST to a singing app I've seen on Google Play; when they developed it, they found an interesting engaging way for people to sing and adjust their vocals, as in a sound booth! That's why I came back, re-downloaded it I'm glad I did! The improvements trully upped their game!! KUDOS STARMAKER

Best karaoke app I've found so far! There are a bunch of these I can't seem to understand, like the events. But they have a great song selection and songs that are graded or not. Some songs are poorly timed or have typos, but there are generally enough versions of the same song that you can just select another. Rooms are a great way to get that social karaoke feel, and there are so many that you're bound to find your crowd. Duets allow you to tag people to sing with. Love this app!

Thanks for the bug fixes and enhancements... sound quality has improved now but still not like earlier version. Also, the draft functionality is still not complete. We don't see the .m4a or .mp4 file on our phone after the song has been posted. It would be awesome if we can save and listen to the audio file that gets uploaded in advance. Also, we can't join the collab from someone's cover unlike earlier. Now, when we click mic icon on duet cover, it starts fresh recording instead of the duet.

I am extremely impressed with the enormous number of available tracks in so many languages. I did sing in 6 different languages (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Sanskrit and English). Some tracks' tempo (too fast, and felt rushed) and lyrics need correction. These are more common with other Apps. A few tracks are not available but can be requested. Thank you very much for such a service to all music lovers.

I like singing with Starmaker bc they have so many songs available. It's great that I can sing SOLO, I don't have to join/duet with others just to sing a song. U pay to upgrade to VIP and get more features, but I didn't find it worth my money. The worst experience i had with the app is static, noise, buzzing mic issues when recording. I thought it was my headphones, so I kept buying new ones, until I realized it was a bug or updated issues. It sucks when u can't sing when u want!

More social media than music, and music quality ranges from acceptable to terrible. I've wasted a lot of time trying multiple versions of songs to find one where the music doesn't suck. Sometimes the lyric timing is way off, so I get messed up and the score suffers as a result. The scoring (when accurate) is pretty cool, which is the reason for the second star.

I downloaded the app today and tried to sing a few songs. It sounds good when you're recording, but when you go to listen to it your vocals are out of time with the melody. After a couple of tries with no success, I took out my headphones and sang along with only the lyrics as they lit up, then tried again just following the notes (each one is timed differently). No matter what, it was still out of sync at the end. I just gave up and uninstalled it.

This app is alright. The first song I posted got 200+ plays and 100+ likes, which wasn't immediately suspicious to me, but when I started getting comments that wouldn't add up with the song, it started becoming more and more obvious that almost everyone interacting with my cover were bots. Not only that, but if you go to their profiles, they have no recordings and yet hundreds of followers. This was very disappointing. I do, however, like the variety of songs and the playback. That's it. 2 ⭐

Doesn't change your voice it uses a filter to add sound to your voice. Although the app is free eventually you will have to purchase coins so you are able to use sound effects or a artist, song you want. Literally everything is locked behind a coin system. And there's no AI voice modulation at all. It also asks for permission for contacts, photos, calls, so over all this gets a one star rating for false advertising and locking people behind a coin system. Everything was great for the first 6 months until a month ago. Started having 🎤 sound issues while singing, and only when I'm using (SuperStar) microphone effect on the app. I have tried everything on my end to fix it confirms it's not me, it's the APP.. I start my song and I have to make sure my mic is on the sound effect I want and when I touch the button it starts popping.. and lags out the song.. it's really Starting to annoy me and I might just rage quit cause it's been a month .. no fix
