The lag spikes are too much in this game, while it wasn't as bad as when it first released, you can still barely play. You won't be able to properly play the game for a minute without a a huge spike or the game freezing. I couldn't upgrade my horses/feed them without the game freezing, not only that races are just tedious to do because of the lag, even exploring is too much. The game in general has some major performance issurs, which will hopefully be fixed soon.

Up sides are it's pretty enough to look at, you can unlock horses rather then pay for them all the time, gender options, it has potential. However, it has way too bad of lag and crashes so often that it is basically unplayable. I may change my rating in the future but for now I am deleting the game because it ate up 10% of my phone battery just to do a fraction of a mission, I spend more time reloading then playing.

The game is super fun, I love to have free exploration. I feel once the bugs are fixed and the lag is situated a bit better (I often can't even do jumping due to the lag) I think this will be an absolutely wonderful game. Controls are a bit difficult in the begining because Im used to hold to control games, but this is sort of tap control, and gets much easier as you keep practicing! (Exploring, jumping)

It's fun but doesn't have good performance on my phone, and I have a newer Samsung device. So far, though, the game and performance issues, aside from lag/crashes from lag, it seems like things are improving. I really wish I could get this on a platform that either uses a controller or keyboard and mouse. I have MS, so it's hard for me to play on mobile thanks to the muscle tremors and spasms in my hands. I wish I could afford horses again, but video games help with that.

I like the game, it's graphics are great. But, it is very laggy. Every time I go into the town it lags then crashes, so I dont really get to play it. But, maybe if you add a non multi-player mode then it might fix the problem. Cause I think it crashes cause there is alot of ppl in the server, but I could be wrong and it could just be cause I have a Samsung and not an IPhone.

I love the idea of this game but the combination of annoying controls, lagging and crazy difficult competitions is so incredibly frustrating. you're supposed to speed through an intricate course in under a minute with no mistakes. it just starts to feel like a chore trying to pass certain competitions. after the last update if my character is walking I can't look around anymore??? why??

It has great graphics and a great story line with plenty of things to do and learn. However, it is very frustrating tryin to play when the game glitches, freezes and kicks me off the app after only 20mins of being on. I'd like to actually be able to enjoy the game to relax rather than have something else that adds to a long and already stressful day.

The game has been fun overall, but there are definitely some things that need to be tweaked. The difficulty level as you progress through show jumping becomes basically impossible after a certain point. This is a mobile game, and the controls aren't good enough to manage somehow keeping your horse on the correct line, correct jump angle, and under the max amount of time allowed. There also needs to be some kind of market system that allows you to sell unwanted items/tack.

I love the care put into this game and it's all really impressive. The mechanic of unlocking new stuff is genius and it's easy enough to get rewards. The first thing I noticed when riding at the beginning was how sensitive turning was, so I went into settings to see if I could turn it down but there wasn't a way too. I got better at the controls though I was missing jumps on a lot of courses and running into stuff. There's also quite a bit of lag that made things hard as well.

I absolutely love this game!!! By far the best horse game for mobile that I have played!! The story is awesome! I will say though, when I got to the quest were you had to get 900 builder points, my building started to not work, I could move or place down anything and it would just freeze up untill I left the building mode. Idk if this is just me, but please fix it if it isnt

There are a few bugs in Star Equestrian that I have found today. For example, whenever I walk outside of cross country or show jumping, I don't stop when I bump into things, such as fences. Another bug that I have found is when I go to feed my horse tier 1 food for xp, it seems that it doesn't leave my food inventory. One last bug I've found is lag. I can't screen record, and I can barely move my character without a bit of lag. This will be a 5 star game, and you got it!

This is an adorable game with good graphics, good gameplay and a lot of potential. However, the controls suck! I would enjoy the experience much more if I could actually get my horse to start and stop running easier. I don't even have access to the quick stop button. Whenever I want to stop I have resorted to pressing dismount. Am I missing something? Also, acquiring horses is just a luck of the draw sort of thing. If I could choose the color of my starter horse I would add another star .

The training is really dreading when you don't have VIP and the tack upgrading is somewhat costly as you level up. I used to enjoy it the first time I joined this game but the progression is just super slow and it gets really hard, especially with the weird controls. I enjoyed it while it lasted, although it does need improvement and I don't like doing hard courses with weird controls..

I would give this 3 and half stars. The graphics are pretty good. Some of the horses models, though, are a little werid like they trot, and just in general, their animations are goofy looking. Their legs look broken, and sometimes the tack will glitch its kind of annoying. The reins will like stretch across the map, and the saddles are weird too. I play on mobile, and the controls keep glitching to where I have to close and re open the app.

I've loved this game for a while. My daughter and I play. I do miss the slide to stop feature. It would be nice to have both the turn and stop options. Races are a fun addition as well as secondary personality traits. Still wishing for a list of chests to find, its my personality to want to find them all and check off the list! My horse irl passed away 10 years ago, and this game has given me the chance to ride her again. And it matches her personality to a T. 🥹

This game has good graphics and looks, but it honestly sucks. Horse riding tales is way better. Foxie should have kept it the way it was instead of adding races, changing the horses every update. The flying horses should have been made after the storyline was done. It got really boring because they wouldn't continue the story, just more stuff. I deleted it and I'm not going to download it back until it's finished. Fix it Foxie. This game is a disappointment.

This was such a huge disappointment. I got a brand new compatible device, good internet and this was my first and only game/app installed. Yet, I can barely get 3 minutes in before getting kicked off. Internet didn't cut out or anything to cause it. So game seems to have technical issues. I guess I can only uninstall it. It doesn't appear they listen to the feedback as others have been saying they are also experiencing this. Too bad.

4.19.2024. I used to play nearly every day. Now I dread getting on just to do daily tasks. The lag is so bad it's almost impossible to complete events. And while in events sometimes the horse will veer off in either direction causing you to fail the course or miss a jump. It's just too much of a hassle to enjoy any more. I'm very close to uninstalling. 5.16.2024. I have decided to uninstall this game and try again sometime in the future, hopefully the lag problem will be fixed.

The game's fine until you get to a point where you can't really progress and earn anything new because you're stuck trying to Sprint through a course that can't be sprinted through with wonky controls that don't work half the, random atoms on the floor to get stuck on, or failing cause you tried to take a shortcut to make it a little bit more possible. You need gems to get more horses, and the best way to earn gems is locked behind annoying challenges that are irritating to try to complete.

This game is really nice and all.. great graphics and everything. But there are some problems I have with the game. Well, for starters. Whenever I have completed a task and click on the person for my reward or whatnot, it glitches and says the voice line every time I click on them, and I'm not able to finish that task. It's done it on the main story, and now I can't continue and level up. Also, on the farmer Joe one. (Side story) Please fix this.
