Stop hiring amateur developers! What a kak app honestly, never works when you need it to. Don't even bother with the Tap and Go feature, it's so broken that they added a 'Reset' button to it coz it breaks so often.

I am unable to sign in to the app since this morning. I've been on the line with 2 agents thus far, both have promised to call me back. None have. So my 2 hours on line got wasted and my frustration has grown. I haven't been soughted out. Signing in took me in circles. CAN SOMBODY HELP ME ????

Do not use Standard Bank. I encountered so many lies and nonsense with their Ucount programme. Their Cresta staff said there was a fee but it would be deducted from the Ucount account itself. This turned out to be a lie. Then I found I don't even make enough rewards to cover the cost of Ucount. Final straw was finding out when I close Ucount they can't even transfer the money I earned to one of my other accounts 🤦🏼♂️ Disgusting service. Also SB can't link my cards onto one online dashboard

When paying a beneficiary and choosing the notification option, I am unable to select their cell number from my contact list, instead I have to go out of the app and check for their number and then type it in manually.

it's amazing, and security is tight, I give it 4 stars because some features aren't available like easypay and you have to know a recipient's number by heart to fill it in for instant money transfer.

I can't log on to this app, it's been about 3 months i used Stanbic but i have never managed to log. Um very disappointed, it give the message "due to inactivity this session has ended". I have uninstalled and installed many time now i have given up about it. Um using the app from Botswana

I am truly disappointed in SB... It has been 5 months since the disastrous update and my first review in November 2023. No amount of emails, reviews, or phone calls have helped. They just send you around in circles. The lotto option still doesn't work after numerous updates that were supposed to 'fix' the issues. And now the app has more bugs than ever before. Sometimes, it won't even allow you to buy airtime and kicks you out for no reason. FnB has no such issues. Time to move over permanently.

Fix the biometric or pin login. No matter what option I enable it uses neither and forces me to log in using an email otp this is extremely slow and bad user experience. One of the worst banking apps I've experienced.

The app ain't running ever since I ran the update and I find it less user friendly and frustrating. Fo instance the Transact button ain't being activated which means I am completely stuck now

Opened a Cheque account yesterday. All went well with registration and authorisation. received my card and and was told we all done besides authentication which you do through the app as they need to verify your number and you must take a selfie for facial recognition. Did all required yet it never worked. Returned to the branch and redid the process & back to atm and deposited a substantial amount with no issue. 48 +- hours later and 7 accepted authentication I still have no access to my funds.

The app is very poor as it's constantly on and off and it can get really frustrating when you want to do a quick/spontaneous transaction and you find it down. It's even very taxing to get it up and running. It's a joke!

In fact, you have get experts to work on this app for you. Get a user friendly app. The system is already frustrating and people want any application that require going up and down your bank offices for app setup. I even have to spend hours at your banking hall for this app settings but to no avail. They made me see 3 different personnel who all fail solve my problem The perfomance is very poor. You tap on forget password then For username displays. Too many security questions Ah! So frustrating

Tried many times,and really doesn't work..the worst features were: Being required to add another email address..not registered.,a new user name,as well as not being able to verify current cards in use...bank records show outdated numbers!! Therefore I cannot use the app!

The app has been a pleasure to use, it enabled me to track my usage, check my credit score which was one of the most significant feature for me. After the update to my dissatisfsction the add on feature is only of use if i had a credit product. How am as a customer to make use of a feature if it is only for selected consumers. How will it enable me to take charge of things that matter the most to me.

Recently every second week I have to do the whole registration process on the application all over, ID photo, face scan, the whole shebang. I understand the safety thing, but really, is it necessary to do this so often? It is now the 4th time I have to do it this year, and the 2nd time in May month alone. I needed to use the application the weekend when I was in a shop, and then I couldn't. This is very frustrating. Then I will rather just use the www online link.

Standard bank Internet banking and their App have insufficient options available to their own clients ecept to sell stuff to their clients. No proper feedback. Did not respond to emails. The client cannot manage their own account with this few information available. Not enought character space to fill in full description and or name, increase character space.

Thank you for wonderful app. Ever since the update the features of the app are great. I love the switch card on and off feature very innovative and forward thinking. however the only issue is the card i cannot cancel within the app and thats whats real let down because the wait time to get through to an agent even longer . It will be difficult for someone who is not tech savy to know that they should make the limits within app zero because everytime go stop card it redirects me customer S.

I've been using the Standard Bank app for several year's now, and I'm really impressed with its user-friendly interface and convenient features. Managing my accounts, transferring funds, and paying bills have all become so much easier and quicker. The app's security features also give me peace of mind knowing my financial information is protected. Tried this app on 3 different devices and it hasn't worked, yep that's over 3 years. The app usually crashes and is basically useless, it doesn't do what it's supposed to do. What's annoying is that it's supposed to save time but you eventually have to give up and go to the branch, where you might wait another hour and a half (unplanned for) just to be assisted

This app was amazing many months ago. But after numerous updates, they broke so much. At one point, I couldn't do tranfers, then they fixed it. Then I couldn't go to OST, then they fixed that. Now my accounts balances don't show and I can't click on them or do transfers. Initial versions were brilliant, now it barely works. Update: App has improved. Another Update: They've again removed features like linking your accounts to your profile.
