a great help when learning an instrument (guitar, in my case). playing along with the hi-hat (no need to use a nasty nasty electronic beep, ir a click) keeping the rhythm at your chosen bpm is a great help when learning chord changes - gotta keep the melodic and rhythmic components in shape. plenty of rhythmic options for all bit the most advanced or niche requirements.

Way too much on the Create screen for the app to be intuitive to use. Too complicated for my simple needs. I just want a 6/8 time sig at about 90 bpm, and there seems to be 10s of options, with lists.. and to the lists with, to me, obscure labels. Good luck to the team, but for me I'm uninstalling it and trying elsewhere.

The best metronome to perform live that I have come across, the list function and the full screen mode are really helpful.

I bought the pro version. I have used the free app on my previous phone. Now, on a Samsung s23+, the metronome is so unstable it is absolutely useless. P.S. I have verified with a few other free metronomes.... none of them exhibit the instability. Unfortunately, they also don't have setlist support. Moving back to my old and trusted Yamaha Clickstation.

I have been using this for over a year a now and bought the VIP thing. It's the simplest metronome app I've used that has most of the customization I need. Having an unlimited amount of setlists really helps on drumming sessions and the sync feature is a lifesaver. I would wish for more available click sounds especially the accents since they can be a bit harsh sounding.

This is (now) the other one of only 2 metronomes I use. Sounds pleasant, which is of major importance, together with accuracy and setting options. The only thing lacking is the increments of tenths. Setting tempo by +/- 0.1 accuracy. Most songs on record don't have tempo at flat integers, but often times go a bit over or stay under a certain perceived BPM, by some decimal. Great app, regardless. Plenty of ear tormenting metronomes out there. This is almost purrfect! Thanks!

OK, but no support for assymetrical rhythms or quintuplets or septuplets, which is why I am now looking for something else.

this metronome. the best. easy to config for either eighth note beats or 4 beats per measure so u don't have to count but synch'd to the tempo

I love this app and so I subscribed for a year. This is well made, featured and presented. I would have preferred to pay a life time license than a subscription. That said, I have a wish that will surely motivate me to continue subscribed in the long run since I hate subscriptions in general. The feature I miss or I don't find how to make is to export/share the set lists. As a member of a band that feature could set new subscriptions on top of having mine renewed next year. To recommend.

Great app! The interface is intuitive. use to have no ads but now it has a banner ad. Ive been using this to help me set tempo in performance. Helps keep me "honest"

Provide options to change the beat type as well. It's all 2/4 and 4/4 and goes on it's all crochet beats. I would like to be able to adjust to 6/8 - 12/8 and 3/2 - 6/2. Hope you get the idea. It's a great app. But Im forced to look for alternatives due to the time signature restrictions. Update: now there is nothing that I miss in this app. It's perfect

Just downloaded it and then tried to use right after. This will really help me when I'm going to play because this app can creat a playlist and you can also manage it whenever you want to. I rated a 5 star because this app has solved my concern about adjusting(increase or decrease) the beats for the next song. By using this app, it is easier for me to adjust to a desired beat because I only need to click next button and it will move to another song that I saved in playlist. :)

This totally would have 5 stars but I just updated it against my better judgement and it took away the ability to make more than 2 play lists. I have had 3 play lists for a few years now. I was dumb and deleted the old ones to make new ones, then I updated the app. I went to make my third list and it wants me to pay. Response to developer comments: I understand limiting the set lists to new users, but I'm not a new user. I updated it and it limited me to 2 set lists like I'm a new user.

I really liked this app, I was looking for a similar app that could bring rhythm and beat to my musical journey.

Stops working and I have to reinstall to get it going again on my Revvl 7, which is just a google phone. Can the developers point me to something a little more reliable while they work this out? Also, when creating a set list, it scrambles the list whever it feels like it and the songs in your main list should automatically be alphabetical. You should also be able to select songs for a set and have them listed in the order you select. Great when it works but a time waster in its current state.

Okay where has this app been all my life?? You can save the metronome settings as "songs" which saves so much time when you're practicing different pieces. You can adjust the sync between the visuals and the sound, the tempo slider tells you the bpm and label of your tempo (allegro, largo, etc) the app is easy to use. All this with no ads?! A++++ The only thing I can wish for is to be able to pause and play the metronome from the notifications bar when it's playing in the background

Awesome alternative to Soundbrenner Metronome! ππ» Switched to this one immediately after Soundbrenner limited you to like 10 songs before encountering a paywall. The UI is a little strange at first, but I figured it out after messing around with it for a bit. Not sure what the "Sync" button is for yet. If it continues to impress, I will probably pay the VIP fee. Thanks, developers!

Almost everything I need. I use a metronome live when playing with our band at church so need setlists. Soundbrenner sometimes does some strange behavioir with accents on its own so looking for an alternative. This works good bit the only problem I see when running an 1/8th note click on slower songs, which is common, there is no option for the two sounds for the beat to be the same sound, just that alternating sound which not every team likes. Wish the was more flexibility in those sounds.

Good but glitchy. Grateful that it's ad free! Love a lot of the options and functionality. The numbers go a little crazy and flash a lot before settling down esp when a new setting (tempo, sound, start/stip, etc.) is employed. Also, not sure if it's because of my own lock screen settings, but phone has to be unlocked to start, stop, change tempo, etc. Not going to delete for now in hopes of bug fixes.

Didn't think I would need more than a simple metronome, but I like the quality of this one, the options it has, and how easy and fast it is to use for the most part. Will keep using! Two things on my wishlist so far: I like that it gives a notification when I'm running the metronome; I would love it if I can play and stop from the notification so I can keep my sheet music full screen. And the text and icons for saving songs is confusing β I don't know how to save more than one, to be honest. π
