Sqube Darkness is a platformer geometry cube game with dangerous enemies and hard obstacles. Players use their reflexes to jump and run at the correct moments to escape from the attacks of the Eyes.

Not bad but WAY too many ads. Every single time you die and restart the level there is an ad. Once an ad interrupted the gameplay only 10 seconds into the level, which could have been a glitch because it only happened once but I'm not giving it a chance to happen again because even if you die in 2 seconds you have to watch an ad again first. Less than 2 minutes after I started playing I am uninstalling.

Good game, a nice, dark aesthetic, easy to pick up at pretty much any time, anywhere. Nothing too complex. Ads appear relatively rarely- only when you start/restart, so fully dependent on how long you last, and only costs a couple bucks to remove- a reasonable price, I suppose. The best thing to be improved (aside from adding more (more enemies, challenges, powerups, etc.) is make enemies pass by faster when you're 'hiding', so it's a bit less tedious waiting around for the right moment to run.

This would have the potential to be a fun game but it's absolutely ruined by the ad system. Everything you do punishes you with another 30s ad. It's a trial and error game with a lot of random traps that kill you instantly. Every time you die you're forced to watch another ad, even if you only played for 2 seconds. Want to restart, watch another ad. Want any points for upgrading, watch another ad.. Download this "game" if you want to spend all your time just watching ads. I'm very disappointed.

This game sucks! Surprisingly, the reason for its sucky gameplay isn't the ads after each level. it's the game itself. I can't jump over the long spikes on the floor that disappear and reappear. I get to the edge on the other end and they're back. Sqube doesn't move with the platform that floats left and right. When jumping over the acid, there's a 95% chance I'll land on spikes. 45 minutes of playing and can't pass the 70m mark? It's safe to say the ads are the least annoying part of the game.

This game had a very neat concept but is completely ruined by the ads. You get an ad when you; start a new run, die in a run (regardless of if you pick the second life or not, the second life costs an ad), go to main menu, and even just during normal gameplay. You even get unskippable audio only ads while seeing a different ad. It's all just too much for too little. Shame such an interesting gameplay mechanic is wasted here on what is essentially a commercial break.

Like everyone else here says, the gameplay is really solid and actually quite fun. But having to watch a "skippable" ad literally EVERY single run is really frustrating and is making me Uninstall. There should be a timer such that you only have to watch an ad after hitting "Run" every 5 minutes or so. It's annoying when I die really early on in a run by accident, and then still have to watch 5-7 seconds of a skippable ad, that you have to press three different "skip" buttons to get through.

This game has a steep skill curve. The levels are randomly generated, which means you'll encounter situations that are nearly impossible and each time you play the level is different so you can't practice difficult areas or test strategies. Ultimately it's just hard and not particularly fun as a result.

Seems like a decently fun game but I didn't get a chance to play it all that much before i uninstalled because of the ridiculous amount of ads. Being new and not experienced at the game means you'll die a lot and everytime you do an ad plays. Overkill. And whats more, there was an ad *with sound* that played *during* actual gameplay. Less of a game and more of just an ad revenue farm. Sad because it seemed like it could be fun.

The game itself is great & challenging! However, you can hardly do anything without getting a ridiculous amount of ads. I just uninstalled this after only having it for maybe 15 minutes, tops. I couldn't even get past the first level because everytime I died, I got an unskippable ad and another ad's audio would play over the game afterwards which completely ruined the experience for me. I really want to like this! Please fix the ad issue and also consider implementing lives in the future.

There is no reason to have an ad on the screen DURING gameplay - let alone TWO, including one that plays audio over the game audio. And if there IS going to be an ad during gameplay, then I shouldn't also get one between almost every round. This is such a cool concept and could be legitimately fun if the ads didn't make it near unplayable.

I get having ads... that's fine. It's one thing to have ads periodically, It comes with the territory of playing a free game. But then there's also a banner in the upper left corner.....oh, and then there's an audio ad icon on the right that plays commercials, too. How did you all actually manage to fit the game on the screen? The character's a box, and the level is a random black platform. That's so much space you could have crowbarred another ad.....why not the background too? Uninstalling.

This game is amazing...if you don't consider the banner ads, ads after every game, ads to do anything, and the ad that you have to mute every time because it occurs WHILE YOU'RE PLAYING THE GAME! Seriously, people, having so many ads is just intrusive and degrades the player's experience. I always go around the ads when I play games by turning off the internet. Not with this game. You have to have internet to play. Would be great if no ads but as such it's just plain worthless. Uninstalling!

This game is infuriating in all the wrong ways. The power-ups should be permanent and be on a timer that can be lengthened through currency. And there should be a number of lives before the death of a round. No one wants to learn a game and then get pelted by ads that waste time and make the experience miserable. The enemies are too fast, and the character is far too slow and needs to have a purchasable speed increase because this is ridiculous. got this game for tapjoy, frankly not worth it.

Ad ad ad ad ad ad ad. You run too many goddam ads. I've never said that to any other developer. The very first start button? Ad. Never played before so controls are awkward. You die. A lot. In seconds. Continue button? (shows little "ad" icon). Reset button? No "ad" icon. But you get a 30 second ad anyway. And no timer to click past it. Nobody is ever gonna get good at this game. 3 to 10 seconds of play, then 30 seconds of ad? Who has that kind of patience? Uninstalled.

Good game, good gameplay. Requires Internet to play, there is no offline and after every run you die. Randomly generated levels which I think is great, great gameplay mechanics. What ruins this game is the removal of offline play, 2 years ago this game had offline play. Also the amount of ads. I get free games need revenue, an ad every 5 runs makes sense. But an ad after run means I donone run force close the app and don't play it for a week. Most games with this many ads I uninstall.

The design of this game is good as it's an eerie landscape. It's also a difficult game that has lots of fun elements and suspense. You can buy powerups to aid you as well. There's a lot of ads but only mostly occur when you start a new run *if you barely get any distance it gives you another chance or two before giving another ad* You have pop-up ads in the corner of the screen which really stands out since it's a dark eerie landscape (and the audio ads sucks too but you can mute them.)

Meh. It's a cool concept. A simple platformer with the hiding mechanic as a fun gimmick. The issue is, the level is randomly generated every time. So there's no real progression in difficulty. Sometimes, you will get an incredibly easy level, other times, it's wildly difficult right off the bat. The game needs levels. That progressively get harder as you play. Also the ads are absurd. You're going to die a lot, especially in the beginning as you learn. And it plays an ad every single time.

I had some high hopes for this, as the gameplay reminded me of the "Impossible game" from years ago. Like other reviews, the game is a great concept, and imo, the controls are easy to use. I do not mind the random generation of every level...but I have to agree that the amount of advertisements in game is just too much. More importantly, there is no offline play (which explains why the ads are so invasive...money generating). If you like always online and lots of ads, then this game is for you.

Fantastic amount of fun and it's actually a real game just like the ad showed. This is not a scam, it is in fact the game advertised. But also it plays a full minute long ad between rounds, every single round, and some don't have an X in the corner, meaning I had to restart the game over and over. Played through maybe 7 rounds, then deleted it.

Too many ads!!!! The only reason why I download this game was because I was playing it different game that allowed me to get prizes if I achieve certain things in this game. While playing this game is actually really fun The only problem is the amount of ads that are on the game. Do you guys really need to put an ad every single time we fail the game? It's actually kind of ridiculous and that's the reason why I'm giving it two stars. The game has a simple structure but the ads are the problem
