I can't even log it, keeps doing a loop of welcome back, let's set up your account. Then I try setting up the account, and it says you already have an account, log in. then welcome back, let's set up your account. then it won't move forward from the enter you phone number. Nope, uninstall.

I use absolutely love this banking app, unfortunately it has taken a diet as far as customer service the past two years, I think the account got sold to a foreign entity so now anytime you call you can barely understand who you're speaking to, I have requested a new debit card three times over the last 4 months still have not received it.

I had a login code, and now that isn't an option. logging in is a hassle now. email on one screen, then enter your password on the next screen. don't like it.

it doesn't connect to like certs apps like Ben etc but it's cool I just wish you could get loans like chime or cash app for trusted customers who still use the card even though many loan places don't accept it.

Everytime I open the app it tells me over and over I need to update, yet there's no updates available. I even reinstalled it and it still says it. literally every time I press a button or change screens, it says to update. this is massively annoying

the application won't stop asking me to update it, there is no update button and I've uninstalled it turned my phone on and off and installed it again. still pops up to update every time I switch screens, besides that the application itself is great.

pop up of update keeps coming up on my app! I'm sick of this! I called customer service and I'm waiting on word from the back office about this annoying situation going on I get direct deposit on this account I hope my card isn't compromised!!!!!!! there is no update needed at this time on Google play so why am I continuing to get these update pop ups?????

nothing but a hassle! and the customer service can't even do any changes like updating phone numbers or addresses, they have to send it to a section of their business that you're not able to talk to. so just a waste of time! not to mention incompetent and just don't ever get one!

I really enjoy this app, it's very easy to use, no glitches. & the spruce card doesn't charge you ANYTHING for using the card, etc like most other "tax cards". Gives you the option/tips to save money and I hear you really do get your money faster. only thing annoying is sometimes it makes you log in everyday and won't use your fingerprint or facial recognition. but still a 5/10.

I have not received the first card that was sent and contacted customer service. While they were apologetic and immediately issued another card, I was appalled to learn I will have to wait ANOTHER 7-10 business days for it's arrival. In the meantime I have money I can't access because I don't have any other money apps and banks here REQUIRE an actual card to get any money.

Issues issues and more issues!! Every single weekend our banking goes funny. It shows duplicate charges, it will show 1 in pending and 1 processed for the exact same thing which has caused over drafting more than once. I tried the chat option and calling in. The woman on the phone wouldn't even allow me to complete a sentence without interrupting me. After about 10 minutes of her trying to talk over me. That was last week. This week same issue!! I THINK IT'S TIME TO CHANGE BANKS!!!

Spruce seems like a great banking app with a lot of accessible features. Until you have a problem and need to contact customer support. Do not use Spruce. Please pick a bank that can assist you properly. I made a purchase. Spruce said it was fraudulent. I told customer support, no that is me. I made that purchase. Spruce locked my account and my card. I have spoken to support numerous of times. I cannot do anything with my card or bank for months.

Works well. I get my paycheck 2 days early as advertised. A nice little surprise is the simplicity of the app. Everything is self explanatory and fairly easy to find. I like how purchases are categorized and that it lets you mark purchases in categories yourself. I actually quite like it a lot. There's a couple bugs/glitches here and there but they typically fix themselves after closing and reopening the app. I quite like it for the simplicity alone. With more time, it should only get better. ❤️

Beware. Customer service said there was fraud on my account (turns out they were pending holds that didn't go through) so they made me reorder my card. I waited almost a month to finally be able to get access to my money. Btws if you dont have a physical card there's no way to get your money, they'll let you add money at any store anywhere but won't let you get cash

After the most recent update I have not been able to deposit my paychecks because of some sort of error. I tried calling customer support and the customer support representative I spoke with either couldnt explain to me what the issue was or just didn't care to explain to me and immediately hung up. The app has been decent at best, but with the current issue of not being able to deposit a paycheck and customer support not helping. I've been disappointed. I'll change my review if things improve

Not a 1 star for the app as much as the card and company itself. They say it works with PayPal, cashapp, venmo etc..and it doesn't. Well you can add money to spruce but good luck getting any money out of spruce. I have called 3 times and had 3 different cards issued to me and have yet to receive 1. Have funds and absolutely NO access to them. I also had to call 4 different times because their were multiple charges for 1 item bought. Took 1 week to get my money back. Terrible service.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP...EVER!!! Horrible app. Completely useless. If you transfer money from an external account to spruce you have to wait 7 business days to access the money. So the app is useless in my opinion if you have another bank account. Why would you want to Make a transfer from one account to spruce and not be able to access it for that long. When in reality you can access it right now at your other bank. Would give zero stars if that was an option.

This account is way too much of a hassle to log into when you use it on a regular basis I HAVE TO HAVE A CODE SENT EVERY SINGLE TIME! also it's really complicated to get linked to any other accounts, especially the payday advance apps. I have yet to find even one that will link to it successfully. It's a headache... Their customer service is also only open until like 6:00 p.m. so if you need anyone after your S.O.L!!! THEY'RE LUCKY I GAVE THEM THE STARS I DID! GET IT TOGETHER SPRUCE!!!

Good app. If you connect your account don't think you will get it right away.. I've had $160 stuck between both my accounts (This account and GO2 bank) and they said at least 10 days to process it! So they have been holding my money for almost a week now! Other than that I like this app but I'm going to close my account over this one. I am not a happy customer at this point.

I would love to stop being locked out of my app for no reason and having to delete and reinstall it hoping it'll work for me to log in. It says wait 20 minutes but even then I'm locked out. The error claims too many attempts were made. I haven't made any attempts and Customer Service says everything is fine. So why does this keep happening? It's preventing me from using my card or account in any way as well. I'm so done with this. I'm tired of having these issues all the time.
