One of the best parking (reserve) apps out there. The experience is very simple and hassle-free. Love the User experience and simplicity of the UI elements. Also, a huge list of options to choose from which is very great too! It would be really great if you can add street view enabled for locations in-app to know how the properties are well in advance :)

Since the switch to Bluetooth usage and no scanning i have had trouble about half the time I use it. It can get rather annoying especially when there becomes a build up of cars behind you waiting to enter and there are connectivity issues, the whole situation makes it seem like I dont know what I'm doing. I've made sure I've had the most updated version of the app and its a struggle. May just give up on using if this is a constant. What a way to start the work week.

Nice app to find parking and is relatively easy to use. More on relatively - the app used to load up very quickly and be instantly operable to start entering text for your location. now the app requires at least 2 forced restarts or waiting up to 3 minutes to start searching for parking. Not ideal for the multitaskers or people who need to find a parking spot fast. Would rate much higher if the app functioned normally on load. Please fix the loading times! Phone is an LG G6 on Android 9 - have no problems with other apps loading.

I am so happy I found this app! I have been using it for about a year now and have told many friends about it. It would be nice to have a couple features added. Depending on the customers location and check in time for the spot, a text with traffic times to leave early would be nice. Also, lots of people dont carry cash on them and never have tipping money for the shuttle drivers. Maybe having a location in the app to choose a driver to tip, would be nice. otherwise a great app.

First time used it, and last time. Booked parking, on the bottom was button "taking to the location" and I press it, Google map opened and I started driving following the directions. Soon I realized it was not correct direction. I ended up being in a completely opposite direction, 30 miles away from home and 60 miles away from my parking spot. Worst experience ever

Twice I used the app, & both times the barcode wouldn't read. The first time I chalked it up to user error. This time, I know it wasn't me. I reached out to SpotHero customer service via email, & they responded within an hour. They were able to help me understand the back-up process, & I was able to take advantage of the savings. Thank you SpotHero!

The app itself was easy to use. The service was not! Nobody was in the lot holding reservations so the lot was full when we arrived. We spent an hour scrambling to find parking in an unfamiliar city, much further away from our destination. I get SpotHero doesn't manage the lots but they do guarantee a spot in their faq page. The SpotHero agent was nice and refunded us but that didn't help get our time back or ease the stress of finding a spot. I won't use this service if I can't rely on it.

It seems to work well and have reasonably priced places for parking. However, I have used the app before and know that some garages do not allow in and out privileges. I scoured the reservation prior to confirming to see if there was anything listed and all I could find was self park. However, once I hit Confirm, on big, bold, all caps letters "CANNOT come in or out once parked" was listed clear as day. Not sure whether to call it negligence, or straight up misleading.

The App is great. I've never had an issue with it. It helps me save money and find cheap spots in NYC. However, I've noticed that there are garages that would take advantage of the app by not honoring their fees specified at the time of booking. In fact, one time I paid for an oversize fee on the App, then once I had returned to pick up my vehicle the garage attendant forced me to pay another oversize fee on top of what I paid for. Luckily, I contacted SpotHero who eventually refunded me.

Works well for me to find inexpensive parking where I want to go. The only issue I experience is that the "extend time" feature seems to often glitch with this app. While you are shown the option to extend parking time on the app, whenever I click it, it leads to an error and I fail to extend my time. Maybe the option to extend time is unavailable in SpotHero but it seems to give us false hopes about it.

Just got ripped off! The app sent me to the wrong street to access the lot I made my reservation (the location provided from their app and not just me looking up the address). After sitting on hold I was told that because I didn't contact them immediately (I had to rush around to find another lot and still get to work on time) that I'm only eligible for a $5 credit. Given how long I was on hold for there's no way I could have gotten this resolved it at the time of my reservation. Biggest scam!

Convenient but their version of 'dynamic pricing' has become quite annoying.🤬 Here's the thing, once you park regularly at the same location, and times and days of week, instead of receiving discounts for being a frequent loyal user, as in daily, pricing, eventually, starts to trend upwards for no apparent market-driven reason, and then, once I stopped using it for a few days and come back, voila, pricing quoted for same location, times, and day of week, decreases.

This app helped me save so much money on parking in Philadelphia. Instead of paying $32 for a parking garage located at a 3 min walk from the event we went to, it showed us another parking garage for only $16 located at only a 10 min walk away. Yes, it does tell you these details if you search based on the event you enter. So you can determine what matters most (cost of parking vs the walk to get there). We chose to save money and walk a few minutes further. It was well worth it!

I generally love this app, though the prices can be a bit more than rival apps. They are not always reliable, however, so an aggravation fee was ok. In the last couple of months, however, Spothero is constantly kicking me out of the app and forcing me to sign-in each time I open it. I see here that others are having the same problem. This is not good, as this happened with a rival that will now not let you sign in at all. I have updated and reinstalled it to no avail. PLEASE fix this. Thanks!

App used to work pretty well, but recently it has started forgetting my login and requiring me to log in seemingly daily. I'm not sure if this correlates with app updates or something else, but never used to happen. I'll change the review if and when it gets fixed. Otherwise, I really value spot hero. Usually works, and on the instances where it doesn't (sometimes lots over sell), their support quickly found me an alternative lot.

Used it a couple of times and while it works as described, be aware that booking through the app doesn't actually reserve a spot for you. This creates a situation where lots can easily be oversold and if a lot is full when you arrive, you're out of luck. The only real advantage of paying through the app is 1) locating lots and pricing, and 2) paying ahead of time lets you park and leave immediately without fumbling with the pay kiosk, assuming you can find a space.

Terrible customer service!! Lot's of options to book parking, DON'T USE THIS ONE OR PARKING PANDA. The App double booked me last weekend. I didn't know until I saw the two charges against my credit card. When I called customer service, they told me I could not get a refund because it was after the fact. The App booked two spots. It's not the consumer's fault the App is glitchy and failed. I was charged $42.80 twice and the drive up rate was $20. They won't get another penny from me.

Scammed. Somehow double charged for the exact same booking (location, time), even the booking id is the exact same. And yet I have two charges on my credit card. That alone is fine, some times bugs happen, but I've reached out to spothero support twice and gotten nothing back. Edit: as per the response, I called the number, and got spothero credit for the same amount as the double booking price Would recommend the developers add a check to prevent double booking. Bumped rating up.

Thieves! Save yourselves from losing money! Over a month ago I paid for a day of parking. My car was towed due to their mistake. I had to pay hundreds of dollars to get it back. Have sent them all the documents, photos, videos (thankfully I was diligent with all), and they have been ignoring my emails, requests - hoping I'll get tired and quit asking for reimbursement. This is a horrible company with zero customer service.

Decent app, but their QA folks need to do a better job. I booked a spot and the app shows two different addresses and that too on the same page. I even took a screenshot as I could not believe how someone could allow something as basic to slip through the QA cycle. Good idea, but poor quality assurance. The wrong address is on the top. It is difficult in a crowded downtown district in a major metro area to return back to the same spot with one way traffic when the app provides a wrong address.
