I already paid for the app and now you want me to pay more to see my scores after playing. Also when I finish a quiz I go all the way back to the beginning screen. Extremely disappointing Sporcle. Greed has gotten to you. Maybe you should pay attention to the most recent reviews.

Hate the new version. I've tried two of the quizzes that have photos, and they're so small I can't see what I need. Haven't tried the others but, if they're like the ones I have, there's no point. I can still use the old appforsome reason; when it's gone, so am I. Too bad; I've been using this app and website for years.

the app is good. better than the last but sadly with Ads. I already had the orange account but without it. ads! the app also runs a bit slow now and again and when you press a letter it sometimes multiplies that letter but it isn't as annoying as others seem to make out.

This version of the app is atrocious. The intro quizzes tab is obnoxious as a default landing screen, the UI is full of weird jitters and there's far too many ads.

The old sporcle was so much better. The ads that have been added drive me insane. And then putting a subscription model to unlock ad free is an absolute joke. Don't waste your time with this version of sporcle.

Loved the old app - been playing for many many years. New version is awful - pics too small to see on a phone, etc. Will give it a month to improve or provide original version as an option or it's being deleted.

The new version is decent, works okay (occasional issues with quizzes that involve images.) I'm upset that after paying for the app the company bricked it and is now asking me to subscribe. I will never participate in a subscription gaming cash grab. Make a game I want and I'm willing to buy it once and only once.

User since 2011 and I'm good with the new version so far but the only thing that needs to be added like others have stated is the ability to shut off the timer without paying for premium. Need to feel relaxed and not rushed . If I want a challenge I can always turn it back on .

I like a lot about this app and would pay for it but not at this price, simply ridiculous in my mind. Happy to watch some ads since I love sporcle but you need to make sure some of them are able to eventually skip, some I can't skip and last longer than the time I played a quiz.

This app is amazing. It has an epic variety of quiz types and subjects and is easy to use. The only thing that sucks is the ads. They aren't too bad as far as ads go I suppose but still they get annoying after a while. I love this app so much that I would happily pay $15-$20 to remove ads. Unfortunately it only has a subscription type deal which is nearly $10 per month and I do not have the means to support that. But overall I highly, highly recommend this app.

I used to play this app every single night for 3-4 years straight before bed and when waiting places but since they've updated to this new system I am finally at the point where I'm uninstalling the app for good. There's virtually nothing better or good about it from a user standpoint. It's not near as easy to navigate or find quizzes to play, you get CONSTANT ads, and it tends to not function properly anymore. Idk what the devs of this game are doing anymore.

Mostly good. Biggest complaint is forcing users away from the device keyboard for some quiz types and instead using a bad app keyboard that cannot be minimized. This leads to odd issues where you cannot see the entire question, making them impossible to do on the app. I don't ever want to use the app's terrible keyboard is a secondary bad reason for this decision.

App works as expected, some quizzes may need to be reformatted to fit a phone screen though. The ads are unbearable, they take up the whole screen, they're too long and if you do as much as swipe down to access the phones notification you get taken straight to the ad page. It would be better if ads are just integrated somewhere during browsing quizzes.

Always been a fan of using Sporcle. It's been my go-to quiz site and app since high school. But the new UI change is absolutely ridiculous. It's just a copy/paste of the actual Sporcle mobile website, and the full screen ads after every single quiz are literally unbearable. Not sure why you would change a perfectly good UI that ran smoothly and had minimal ads, and replace it with this. Ridiculous. Trying to fix what wasn't broken is NOT the answer.

The previous app was so much better. This one is barely functional... I paid on the last one to have ads removed and now they're back, it's constantly saying its not connected to the Internet even though it is, and is slow and glitchy. I can't get through a single typing quiz without serious lag- and I'm sorry but lag on a single player typing quiz game??? that's too much. I'm so upset they took my favorite game app and made it unplayable

Forced full screen ads after games are a blight on mobile apps. If you give me the option to watch an ad for some sort of reward, then sure, I'll probably click to support you financially. But to make them mandatory is just gross. I've been on Sporcle for 16 years and the ads have gotten so much worse.

I've been playing Sporcle since 2011, and it's always been one of my favorites. That is, until the old app was disabled and we were forced to use this awful thing. The original app was simple, user-friendly, and had minimal visual clutter. Now, it's difficult to navigate and full of intrusive ads. Also, making us subscribe in order to play without a timer? That was the nail in the coffin. You managed to suck out all of the fun of this game by turning it into a useless cash-grab. What a shame.
