As fun, funny, challenging & weird sometimes this ported game is. You can't ignore the amount of bugs in this game. Sure, no crashes but reloading saves from time to time just because you jumped the wrong way & ended up slowly floating above the map or thrown off the map, clipping through walls, spawning not facing enemies, controls changing from touch to controller mode, camera randomly snapping around & sinking dead in the air is funny but not always tolerable. It can be annoying pretty quick.

I CANT SAVE MY PROGRESS!!! It keeps saying 'Error, game cannot be saved' EVERY TIME I TRY AND SAVE. Obviously this is seriously annoying and needs to be fixed ASAP. I loved this game years ago and replaying it is great. I'm using the latest Samsung device and yet the game is so laggy and the frame rate keeps dropping on 60fps max settings. Considering I paid £8.99 for this, I would like the game to run as best as it could

Although I've never got to play it on PS2, this remake was a great experience. Graphically able to play on low settings to achieve 60 fps but it looks decent. External controller is recommended to get the best control of the characters. Got it for a bargain with a free google play gift card. Used a OnePlus Nord and it worked just fine but was unable to go medium without skipping frames. Would like an option to move the on screen controls tho.

The coming of the Android version is very appreciated. The gamepad support is good, touch control mode can be used when the gamepad is connected or not, which is great. What I complain is only an unresponsive camera in the touch screen control mode, Even though the sensitivity reaches Max, still the drag response is rather sluggish, also BGM at the home is too small. I also hope the game can support 32bit devices without Vulkan API. But all right, overall this game is worth buying. Thanks dev!👍

I love this game, it looks stunning, jellyfish fields blew me away with the grass, I expected it to be dumbed down a bit, but it doesn't see to be. I use a controller so I can't say much for the touch controls. Loving the game so far. My only issue I've had was with a glitch on the rooftops of downtown. If you are using Sandy's lasso and grab onto the edge of one of the conveyer belts, the lasso will continue spinning and you will fly upwards forever and it forced me to restart the section.

Very nostalgic and it's nice that you guys ported the remastered. Touch controls are great. There are times that it feels hard to be precise when jumping on small platforms but it's still great otherwise. I tried using my only controller (DualSense) to be more precise but I had an issue where all the button functions got twisted and shuffle like when I press R2/L2 it would endlessly rotate camera counter/clockwise. I just hope that it can get fixed.

Fantastic game! A huge game full of action, comedy, along with the classic style of spongebob. It holds up it's quality across all ages. My youngest brother (7), the middle child (12) and me (16) all love this game! There is a flaw with it though, and a big one at that. It is insanely buggy. If you follow the normal path then generally your bug free but if you hunt for them, there is an entire goldmine of glitches. I quite like the bugs though since it is always out of the way and fun to do. 5/5

I bought this game when it was on sale for 99 cents on the Play Store over Nintendo Switch for $29.99. Didn't regret it😎. plays basically the same as Switch but only around 2 GB instead of 10 GB for switch. i played up to the jellyfish field level and had no problem. Note I was using an 8bitdo pro 2 controller to play. I recommend using that controller or an xbox controller to play because touch controls not good. Hidden Gem, great way to experience without owning a console or PC. 👍

Unplayable with a PS5 controller, which is really disappointing. No idea if other controllers work, but lmb doesn't work, thus making it unplayable with a PS5 controller. This game is amazing, great mobile port, great graphics, solid framerate (although 90 or 120 would be better). Would be 5 stars if you make it playable with a PS5 controller.

This game looks fun but when I try to press the jump button and others once, it doesn't work. I have to repeatedly press jump button many times and I am not ready to move once the character actually jumps. And it isn't just the jump button where this is happening. The same bug is happening with other buttons in the game where I have to repeatedly press on it until it eventually works. I don't think it is my phone because it is on the high end (Samsung Galaxy S10). Pls fix this bug.

This is one of my all time favorite video games, and it runs remarkably well on a mobile device. However, there is a game breaking glitch with Sandy's movement. When you attempt to glide there is a good chance that you will rocket up into the sky, where you will become stuck until you perform a reset, this makes any Sandy specific objective impossible.

Very Early Review, Amazing Graphics and Controls. This is a very early review, I will update it in the future. When I first purchased the game, I had doubts on the controls. When I logged on I noticed that the experience is much greater than I anticipated. My device is able to run all settings on high meaning that your experience may vary. The controls are well suited for this type of game. I so far recommend it if you have 10$ lying around.

Runs well on my OnePlus 7 Pro with no slowdown with low resolution, epic quality, and no anti aliasing. However, there's a few issues one must consider: - The intro does not play on my end. The audio plays, but the game freezes after the Nickelodeon logo. Fortunately, you can skip this by tapping. - In some areas on high resolution, there are fps drops while looking at some objects from a distance. - There is no 90 or 120 fps setting. My phone has a 90hz refresh rate. Overall, good port!

Would love to give this a proper 5 stars but I cannot. Playing off a LG V40 and its runs amazingly on the highest settings. Ran into a problem using a wireless Xbox controller. The RB button doesnt work properly and only opens the map and the right thumbstick doesn't move the camera. Not sure if a common issue or just my controller. Edit: Works perfectly with a PS4 Dualshock but still not with an Xbox controller.

This port definitely stands up to the console and PC ports. I really enjoy it, and being able to play it on the go is much more enjoyable. The only issue I have is that the floating tiki will clip with the tiki on top, effectively making them into one, but it's not game breaking. It just makes for a weird issue, lol. Also I know it's a paid game so it's not surprising but there are absolutely no ads. Update: Tikis float too far down, cant get them while doing a bungy jump, cant 100% the game.

Gameplay is great for a mobile port of this cult classic, but I only have 2 issues about it so far: 1. Knowing that the console hotfixes has the Krabs Spatulas fixed to the original game's values, it's hard to go back to how Rehydrated was originally released and get the extra Shinies, so a fix on this would be great! 2. It would be great if there was an extra action button for the "Sneak" mechanic, like in the console versions, as the Virtual Joystick input makes it very difficult.

Plays great and looks great. Fantastic remake. Direct port of the PC and console version. Nothing has been changed for mobile. It's a very impressive port! If you're on the fence, don't be. Just buy it. It's an amazing game. To note, this is the expanded remake, not the 2003 version of the game. I wish purple lamp and thq would bring cosmic shake over to android now ;) If any of you get a saving error, make sure your phone grants permission to the game for files and media. That will solve it.

The longer I play this port, the more impressed I become. It is a faithful, 1:1 port that looks and plays just as well as its PC/Console counterparts. If anything, it might even be better due to the remarkably short load times. The game is definitely best experienced with a physical controller, but the on-screen controls are actually quite good here. That's no small feat for a game that demands fast and accurate input like this one. It's perfectly sufficient in the absence of a remote.

Amazing port, one problem is that sometimes after you die or a cutscene, or even just entering a new area, the buttons stop working, or at least a few of them like the jump button most importantly. However, I figured out that just turning my phone off and on again fixes it, and that it happens a lot when on max graphics, resolution, and fps. Other than that bug it's an amazing game on mobile. Well done

Absolutely fantastic port with no compromise in quality for Android. It outdoes console versions actually, being able to run at 60fps, and loads at a fraction of the time consoles take as well. Like others say, it's best with a controller, but the on screen controls are actually really tight. And I'm very picky with on screen controls.
