09/2020 Update: All is right again! No more inappropriate ads! Thank you!!! 08/2020 Update I really like this game but have recently decided to uninstall it due to some questionable ads being shown. For a game that's rated E for everyone, I was hopeful that they'd be better at filtering out such things but I guess not. Original Review: I like the app (alot) but it seems there are more and more ads, which is annoying especially since you have to watch them before you can play a new hand.

Very ADDICTIVE. Very hard to get off the game. But sometimes makes me quite impatient too. Specially when continuous failure to finish the game is persistent. It took me about 1 & 1/2 hour to finish the game. Many a times I have to give up move to the next game. The app itself is very good an user friendly. Never let me down (didn't hang up for once). Those who love to play this game of patience, I would recommend them to go ahead with this app.

Great game. I've played 2,637 games with a winning streak of 2,538 yielding 99.8%. My time range spans per game from 3 minutes to more than 27 days. The long days' time reflects the use of the UNDO tool. This allows you to continuously play and undo in a single game until you win. The process is similar to paying a Rubik's Cube puzzle game. That can also take several days to be successful. But, both are rewarding to stay in the game until you win a game. Great job to the developers.

It's a good version of Spider Solitaire. There is an ad after every game, when you start a new game. It's not that bothersome. Although, there is one ad that loads a black screen and the app stops responding. I have to close it and open it up again. I like the personalization option. Unlike with their regular solitaire, which I could only win 1 out of 10 games, it seems to be made of rounds easy to win.

Uninstalled. They F'd it up yesterday by adding HUGELY DISTRACTING flashing and scrolling ads to what had been a peaceful playing screen. There were ads between games, but that was tolerable. The programming is poor. The supposed "random"order of the cards is absurdly flawed. So it's not worth $12 to turn them off. But it was a mindless, peaceful way to pass some time. I have played THOUSANDS of games over MANY years. But no more. Sadly, I took it off my phone. End of an era.

I play this game to help my brain wake up in the morning. It helps get me prepped for the day and helps my cognitive skills. Edited review - I have downgraded this app to 2 stars because the ads are ridiculous. There's an X in the left corner that does absolutely nothing so why is it even shown? And way too many ads after every game and the load time at the beginning is now incredibly slow. Disappointed. Should have left it as it was.

Edit: ads in this app are awful. They constantly change ads. You can barely figure out how to exit them. Now there are video ads that play sound for some reason. Kills my data plan and I have to make sure my volume is turned down so that when an add pops up it doesn't start blaring sound. It's fine. Most of the ads are super annoying. They change all the time, and attempt to trick you into clicking. The current ad is a salsa add that doesn't allow you to continue playing. No exiting the ads.

It's a challenging and easy-to-play game with the ability to take back any or all moves and thus to try different ways to solve each game. You must endure the ads for other games that don't take "no" for an answer, repeat the solicitation after you "X" out of the first window, and which don't learn from repeated rejections. But those ads come before and not during play, and not every time you play. Downgraded because of the ads.

The classic solitaire game; challenge yourself to complete game faster, keeps score, beat your own score, can change your background either with several images provided, or you can change the background to a favorite image from your phone! Contains ads but they are short, if you do not wish to watch it after a few seconds you can close the ad and continue playing. Not graphics heavy, customizable. Great for passing the time, complete at your own pace. Great for all ages.

Update 2021: Its on my Google Pixel 3a phone & iPad Air now. I play it to relax. It's great when waiting for appointments because you can close it at any time and re-open to finish a game. I love the "hint" and un-do" buttons. It's just a simple, classic game. Not complicated, logic & luck. Update 2016... The first review still stands. (Where it is I don't know) I've installed it on every phone since. I play daily and it's the last thing I do before bed. It helps to unwind. I love it!

Overall, I really like this game. The game is easier to play in landscape, but if the string of cards is too long, the upper cards are hidden....NOT GOOD! If the draw deck was smaller and on the bottom right corner, you could move the deck up, make the cards bigger and see the entire string. Cards are just too close in vertical. ....but....it plays very well without a lot of extra junk. Update.....you now have to watch really disgusting "ads" between games....this better change quick or I am out

Brainium always writes the best card games.. Spider does not disappoint. Controls perfect, graphics smooth, not overwhelmed by ads... well done! I also admire the coding. The app looks ahead to see what would be the best move so that as soon as you tap a card, it knows where you intended to go, and does it. Pretty slick. That's just one example though. Props to all the coders for all the cool art and physics they got to tweak to make this Spider fun to play.

Fun game. Only issue is the scorekeeping, but since I don't really care about the score that is really a minor quibble. I had to reinstall the game now because it freezes and begins to shiver. I hope this will fix the problem. Also, I've downgraded it from 5 stars to 4 because the ads have become longer and more annoying lately. Update after reinstall, it seems to freeze and shiver less often than the prior install. I hope from here it will improve because I like the game very much.

Totally fun and addicting! I like this Spider game as you can put your own personal photo on the back of the cards and use your own photo as background. Often there are no ads after a winning hand and the ads can be cut short. I highly recommend this version of Spider. *** have to lower my stars. I could always play this in the landscape mode until just recently. It will not leave portrait mode which is much smaller.

Was using this app for years, and it used to be great. Had ads only when you started a new game, which I could put up with, and otherwise was good. Now though there's a very distracting ad banner at the top during game play. Waaaay too distracting, I can't even focus on the game. Just makes the app unplayable now, which is very unfortunate...

Forcing me to update, but to a different game. Not Branium Spider Solitaire. I've played this version for over 7 years and now am unable to play the game I loved and originally gave 5 stars for. My screen is blocked by the update window. Can't get past it. Branium's version was perfect, but didn't have tons of ads. I guess now they force loyal fans to update and become unable to avoid voluminous ads. Not me. Leave it as it was or good-bye spider solitaire. Not gonna be their next victim.

It was good until they added the flashing ad banner. Beside the other problems listed in the reviews it uses mobile data when not connected to wifi. It started over using my data plan. So when I play I put the phone in airplane mode. But this makes me miss calls. So I think I'll have to uninstall it. I liked the way it operated for instance hints..which other games don't have... So I maybe done playing any version of solitaire
