This game has a unique combat compared to other games but it seems like a nightmare for new players. Good luck getting strong cards without playing for a ridiculously long time or dropping real money. The match making for almost all the pvp content other than their is completely random and you will find yourself facing players with insane decks that you will never beat well above your rank. There is little to no skill in the combat, stronger deck practically always wins.

It was always some p2w, but the f2p use to have a chance. Not anymore. Major cash grab based on greed and getting slammed in arena or any pvp event just because you didnt spend big money. Its a shame, its really fun. If you have a nice bank account. *Edit, absolutely unplayable. Constant disconnects, with both full data bars and extremely fast wifi. Ridiculous. Cant believe I wasted my time reinstalling this.

Awesome game love the style. This game has great art and simple to understand. Only issue it keeps getting hacked in my phone it freezes, and have to reconnect constantly. Again August 24,of year 2023, and still without connections. Keeps getting disconnect or freezes. Offers no support even on Discord they couldn't help me. Even over 200 dollars expense you think they respect you.

I seriously played 3 weeks straight, all my energy & bounty missions couple of times a day & I can't even make the rewards while you demand a set spot where we need to get wins. Even worse on arena battles, constantly facing cards twice my health & attacks. Most horrible style match making I've ever tried on a game. You will need to play 1 month straight to start getting somewhere.

Looked great at first, the art and idea is really good. Unfortunately, there's not really an option for strategy, except which card you put down first. Would be better if you could play cards in between cards that are already on the board. You can't win anything of off strategy or skill, the best cards win. PvP is very heavily pay to win, since you can't compete with just free cards. The matchmaking is unbalanced. The prices of the cards are also outrageously high in comparison to other games.

Great game. It isn't like other games when you get bored after a week or so. You keep playing it because you can get new rewards every day. Gold can be easily obtained and making in-app purchases is unnecessary only if you want to have great cards instantly. Artwork is great and the game mode is unexpectedly fun. Also I want to say that Arena battles are so unfair because I often challenge people with silver and gold ranks even though I'm in the bronze rank. Please fix this. Overall, great game.

Cool and fun to progress in game, nice card design updates, simple and easy game navigation, card skill mechanics in game needs a little more work to be one of the best, most reward cards are obtainable through play activity and with collectible item, some are challenging in need of strategy, great reviews and reflection in the conmunity. Thank you for letting me play even I suck sometimes, sorry for that. "I really want that ban",). 🤣🥰😘

TL;DR DONT BOTHER INSTALLING, CASH GRAB Gave it a try. FOUR INDIVIDUAL "do you want to spend money?" Popups and notifications before the second mission, when I didnt even know what the game was or how it worked yet. Cards seemed easy to understand, a 1/2 charge, a 2/3, a 1/4 regen, easy enough. THEN the game gives you a 5/27 that has armour, regens every turn, buffs your other units and tutorial acts like it's just another card. Knew immediately then what kind of game this was and uninstalled.

Brilliant game, with a decent backstory and training system. It's somewhat painful for grinding, but if you can see it through, the results are cool... The game seems to have a bug for the last few days, where the special items (dragon claws, bon bon sparklers, etc.) for each adventure level is missing, and doesn't appear as loot regardless of the victories... when you receive a victory on the adventure level, the game also hangs and doesn't respond. Please have this fixed.

I've been playing for a few years now, and it's one of my favorite games of all time! It's not focused on grinding several hours a day like many games now, but rather popping in a few times a day for a smooth, gradual progression over a long period of time. The game provides a very satisfying and unique experience with a great community. Overall, Spellstone's "long term" style has managed to consistently maintain my interest longer than another game, which is why it definitely deserves 5 stars.

Pretty fun but maybe only for a day. The balancing in this game is egregious. You tend to rely on 1 OP card, and can face enemies/player-decks that are genuinely unbeatable. Idk what they were thinking, some of the worst balancing I've ever seen. It also does a horrible job of showing where numbers are coming from. Not to mention some abilities can end up null because they will chose random targets, even targets that won't be affected by the ability that turn. It's pay to win bad, don't install

Looked to be a fairly fun game BUT after exiting the game I was not able to get back in. The load screen would come up, the load bar would disappear, the screen would flicker and just freeze on the Spellstone intro screen. I tried getting back in several times but it did the same thing. I'm using a S22 phone so it isn't due to an old phone. Oh well, if this ever gets fixed I may try it again.

Has flaws! the abilities that attack "random" enemies isn't random at all. Anytime you have the slightest chance to win it always hits an enemy still on delay(wasted) at least 80% of the time. Also on the other end you'll be close to slightly winning and enemies random attack hits the one card you don't want to lose nearly 100% of the time. It would be ok if it wasn't stated as "random" when clearly it's only random when it doesn't matter.

i love this game, been playing for maybe 6 months now... but whatever new update you did is glitching out. It freezes after every "victory" screen that pops up and i have to close it and reopen. when i reopen i don't receive the rewards from the battle and it still uses my energy. Its getting pretty frustrating. 1 star until it's fixed, otherwise a fantastic game

Really fun game, very original for a card game with a fun twist. Could easily be 5 stars and arguably one of the better phone games available. Unfortunately do to the pay-to-win nature combined with the complete lack of skill based matchmaking, I mean having played one match and being put up against someone on gold II, maxed out epic cards. What a complete disappointment.

Started off easy to get the hang of things, unfortunately things just get extremely difficult and getting gold, materials, and gems are slim to none. it's pretty obvious it wants you to pay for things for the long haul. Definitely not f2p friendly. I planned on giving the game more time to see if anything would change and then it began crashing everytime. Needless to say I uninstalled.

Actually really enjoyed this game. Liked the cards, mechanics, art style. It was cool. But when I lost my phone and redownloaded the game on my new one all progress was gone. Kept my profile but made me start all over. Tech was no help, blatantly telling me I used another name when I knew I hadn't. Super frustrating considering how much time I'd invested.
