Aa someone with ADHD this is the best language learning app I have used BY FAR. The lessons are great and the perfect length to keep you engaged and I feel like I'm actually learning with the AI. The conversations feel real and I'm only 5 days in and have been able to have very small convos with my bf who speaks Spanish

No idea, as usual after setting up and answering questions, customising course, explaining details, the last page force's you to subscribe to a plan with payment details taken before a very short 7 day trial even starts, app developers need to see from their customers pov as this is common and an instant turn off. Misled.

Constantly failing instantly after they read the word but don't give you a chance to attempt the pronunciation. Requiring you to click on restart. I'm fully up to date.

Well, I’ve been using this application for 2 weeks straight now. As I’m getting the hang of this app, I have more confidence to improve my English, especially speaking. I’ll review it again in several months, and I hope that I can strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to enhance their English.

Speak is a fantastic app for anyone who wants to learn a language by speaking it! The focus on conversation and pronunciation makes it a fun and effective way to improve. I highly recommend it!

I don't know why would I get to ask leave review just after 1 day of testing. So far I'm enjoying. Learning new language is all about talk, talk, talk, listen, listen, listen! I can study and talk anywhere I am. That's what I call smartphone! Untill then it was just an expensive watch.

Very helpful! I used to use Duolingo for Spanish practice but tried this out recently. Honestly learned and picked up my Spanish with this much faster and now I feel more confident with speaking to others in Spanish. I do hope they come out with other languages soon.

I am appreciated this app as the English learner who want to get advanced level. Since I want to be a Maltilingual, I beg the application developer to install French course that is my second target language!(I know you are preparing. Can I confirm approximate date of its introducing?) The most helpful point is I can learn Spanish by switching my native language! I hope it will continue we can learn plural languages without extra payment and restrictions on changing native language. Thank you!

I've studied for several hours and I have to admit this is an amazing app. I can't wait until they add French! I've studied Spanish before, and the app seamlessly adjusted to my level. The AI chats are fun and they adjust to what you're learning. You customize the topics that you chat about with them. This is a great way to learn!

nice speaking practice. I like that you can listen back to the example & your answer in practice sessions. edit: although I am intrigued, I don't want to spend so much on an app. also, which version is the free trail using?

I love this app! It offers a more useful way to learn Spanish, provides learners the opportunity to master the language, and have meaningful conversations in Spanish! Its AI feature also provides an efficient way to help you actually learn to speak the language and creates lessons to further your understanding.

Amazing app! I love the way it's set up and the way It teaches you using a real person with the video and following with questions It has already helped me with my bilingual language at work tremendously and I have subscribed to using the app monthly now! Great lessons. Speak should be used more often especially in the workplace

Like all android apps, it DOESN'T Work!!@@ I speak directly into my microphone on a Samsung s23ultra, a 1,500 phone, and it doesn't recognize any sound coming in. No voices detected. A.I. should be changed to the appropriate name of artificial stupidity. This is not a techno revolution we live in. Each new generation of phones has less functionality than the last. I get significantly slower internet since our horrible 5g started with constant loss of signal everywhere I go in this entire country

I have always wanted to learn new languages, but I normally hate the structured way that schools and learning apps do it. As I'm learning, I have a lot of curious questions that I want answered right now, which usually leads me to googling it, and then I never learn how to use that word or phrase properly. Speak's ai 'open conversation' has completely changed that and let's me ask every dumb question and subsequently let's me practice it in full conversation. The rest is just a cherry on top.

I really liked it but It just couldn't recognize what I was saying. I was having to yell at it for it to understand the Spanish word "dos" every time I said it it never would recognize it. The premise is really good. I don't have a thick accent or anything like that. I would speak very very slowly, I would speak very very loudly, but it would always leave out one word on the translation. I would love to use it but it just got too frustrating so I canceled before the full charge is applied

Unparalleled opportunities to practice language exchange. I love this app and am beginning to feel more confident speaking. What held back a 5/5: 1) Sometimes provides corrections as if I was speaking my native language (i.e. tells me how I'd say it in English not Spanish) 2) If any noises are around, it has trouble recognizing input (doesn't register at all) 3) Expensive: I'd expect it to cost more than some apps due to features, but premium costs more than any app I've ever had.

Getting so far with this app while in Colombia. It's perfect because I get tutored on topics that *I* set, and I can ask the AI to break down and explain words to me (ex: "why is para correct in this sentence and not correct in this sentence?"). I'm pairing this with immersion learning, and I'm practicing scenarios that I have in my day to day and I'm making way more progress than I was with just Duolingo.

I really want to give this app 5-Stars because the AI is increíble; but there is a glitch that has caused the app to lock up in the middle of my trial period, and I can no longer access lessons, only the AI bot. I'm certain if I uninstall it and reinstall, I will lose my place. Hopefully it's just a glitch because it's a really amazing app. But I would hate to continually restart...

It seems great for learning while driving so far with hands free mode and learning by voice and talking. My one suggestion though is being able to press a word for the literal translation. There's phrases they teach you by translating a general idea but not giving you the word for word translations in English. EDIT: upon further use the app does distinguish between literal and non literal translations, one of my first phrases happened to have an idiom. Que tal amigos. Great app.

I don't think this was a super hard question to answer: I'm confused as to which version you get during the free trial - $99/year or $200/yr. I absolutely cannot afford $200+ and was on the verge of buying $99/yr because I think it's worth it for AI tutor but the difference between the two prices and the AI features confuses me - what does someone get for each price and what am I using in the free version? Therefore, I have decided to delete this app entirely and find something else.
