Met some pretty cool ppl and have fun for the most part playing online. My biggest problem is playing solo. My CPU teammate always underbids and even after we make our books he bags us to death. 8-16-23 dropping a star as my AI continues to get us set with awful play. He doesn't play to win at the worst times and causes us to get set. Extremely frustrating!

I love this game. Very addicting. Tried others and they were more complicated. Was glad that this app is back in the play store. Been playing since 2018. What I've found in playing is that the player to your left always has the card above yours. Almost ALWAYS!! That is not how the game would usually go but....

This is my favorite spades app. I haven't played this app in so long so I searched for it to download on my phone (had it on my tablet previously). It still allowed me to login and pick up where I left off. This app is so simple and it allows you to play online with others or offline. There are also many different ways people play spades and all of the ways I know how to play are available on this app. Plus NO ANNOYING ADS!! What's not to love?

Trash. This app is absolute garbage. Find a different one for your spades fix. Hands are not random, they put you on losing streaks by giving you the worst partners and will ban you for anything. There other options, explore them. And it's also rigged. The worst players always get 10 hands or when they want you to lose they give you hands with no books but you also don't have nil because of one high card. This happens constantly. You either bid nil and get set, or bid 1 and get set. Rigged.

Fun real game.. Best online game ever played! !! UPDATE 06/2025 Wow 11 years later. Still a good game. Just don't let the dummies on here get you down. I try hard to remember " it's just a game 🎯. I've definitely found some good partners on this app. I would recommend it. Very relaxing while playing.

This is my 2nd review and I'm dropping one star. I've been playing on this site for a couple months and although it's nice to interact with other players, the deals are HORRIBLE. Hope is an actual strategy to get the good deal because the computer deals one team 7-10 books and the other 2 or 3, 80% of the time. And yes, I've reached out via email several times but whoever answers back is in denial.

I have downloaded hundreds of apps since 2011, (when I obtained my first smartphone). This is the ONLY app that has ever banned me. I still have not been given an explanation as to why I was banned. People use EXTREME vulgar language and express racist views and are never banned. Makes no sense. This would be a great app if it had better developers who cared about the people who download the game. Customers like me, who actually paid for the ad-free version and still banned.

Developer excessively blocks people for fictitious reasonings, when confronted about it, they will not provide context as to the reasonings, not even to correct such actions as to not do them again. It shows in how little player's they have on their platform. I would love to post the email chain from them, unfortunately Google's review section does not allow for that lengthy of a review.

I tried this just as a time killer playing in one player with the other 3 players being cpu. Could be a better game playing against humans, but by experience with the cpu.....Well it's the worst spades cpu that has ever been programmed. Your cpu partner never bids more than four, the cpu, 80% of the time bid nil and then take books, and will play against you by cutting your books. Complete garbage if you're looking for a good 1 player experience.

The offline app is good for beginning spades players who are seeking to learn the basics of the game. The only option for more skilled players is online.. However, quite a few people are rude & many are downright obnoxious, so it's hard to get a 'good game'. The latest change (9-14-2019) is to place an ad at the top of the offline screen... ALL. THE. TIME.. it NEVER Goes Away...which is so distracting that I don't even even to play. If it's not removed quickly I'm going to uninstall.

Best app I've found. I wanted to play real people because the app I was using, which claimed to be multi-player, was really using bots. Real ppl come with their quirks: constant quitting, people cursing you out, and players at different levels, which makes it hard to earn crowns. My main suggestion would be for them to add a "ready" button before being thrown into games. You'll be waiting for several minutes, and suddenly you're in a game, and by that time you might have gotten distracted.

Finnaly found a Spades game I love to play, but there is an ad that shows up and flashes like crazy. It's very disturbing and is one of the reasons those warning messages come with video games. I'll keep playing but will shut it down when this ad appears.

The algorithm determines your partner and the deals. There is no real option to pick your partner in rated games. The deals are so obviously manipulated depending upon player ranking and game score. If the algorithm was blind, that might work but I have seen partner determination and deals totally change once you hit a certain rating level. There is no reliable way to stop table talk so cheating is easy. It could be good, but is mostly frustration playing such a manipulated game.

The single player game against bots is worthless! All your partner bot does is bag no matter how the hand is going to turn out. You'll want to smash your device, so play that at your own risk. The online games are great. Some mean people out there but thank goodness there are mute buttons. I've been playing this game for a few years. I have to give praise for not many ads or having to purchase something. That alone gets 5 stars. Try adjusting single player game mode is the only con.

I love this game, but I hate the set up, it feels like is 3 against one, my partner wants to get as many books as possible instead of letting opponents get books to have them go back,but oponents let you take books once they see they can't stick you,many times we had the game almost won and lost because of this. Game unistalled because of it,uuuff so frustrated. This game is definitely 3 against 1.

I have played this Spades games for a long time. I like the simplicity and the ease of use. The players have even got better since my previous review a few years ago. The ads did seem far, play a hand, watch a simple ad. But if you think I am going to sit thru 30+ seconds of ads or 2 to 3 ads per ad break, you have lost your ever-loving mind. Youtube generally on required 5 seconds for a few minutes of viewing. Don't be greedy. Set the ads back to a fair exchange of a hand of play. Thanks!!!

On the one hand, it's great that this app features free online play with friends. Most other apps will only let you play strangers online, or else make you pay for basic functions. On the other hand, even at their hardest, the bots are pretty bad. They are bad at bidding and as a partner they often take tricks from you that don't make sense to take. If you are new to spades, these behaviors will make it very hard to learn good gameplay. Recommended for skilled online play only.
