It's a port of space cadet pinball from earlier Windows. Most game ports are poorly done and close to bloatware, however, this app was very well done. The colors are vibrant, the haptic feedback is awesome & it performs well. There are ads, you can spend $2.5 to remove them, the ads are uninutive (click top right arrow after the time then wait longer and click the x). I'm stuck between a 4 or 5 star review here, but I really do like the port. I think if ads were less frequent I'd rate 5 stars.

A visually pleasing experience marred by flaws and oddities. Interestingly enough the minor differences or issues will have a huge impact to the experience if you're demanding a highly authentic experience. It'll never feel quite right and the off putting feeling will build with each ball. Don't get me wrong, it's the best reconstruction of the game I've seen so far. By all means download if you're fine with a close enough copy but this doesn't quite cut it for me to keep even as a longtime fan.

They finally listened and added toggle music. Thanks guys! A perfect reimagine of the game in the best way possible. This and Windows Minesweeper takes me back. If suggestions are welcome, a replay/demo system would be cool. Otherwise, no need for bells and whistles; the simplicity and nostalgia is why I prefer Space Cadet. Don't fix what isn't broken. Improvements and features aren't inherently bad in a remaster, as long as it never changes the core game and mechanics.

This is a wonderful recreation of the Maxis game that was included with Windows 95 through XP. It is not perfect however. For example, the two sections where you can move the three lights around, there is supposed to be a timer before you can start lighting them up again whereas on this version you can start over immediately. There are also a few missing sound effects. That being said, this is still miles better than the Windows Store version. The haptics on Pixel 6 Pro adds a lot to this game.

This game gets 3 stars for bringing back old memories and being fun enough to kill some time, but there are a lot of adverse-functionality differences from the original computer version. Feels like there's not much consistency in where I can send the pinball with the paddles, the ball will get caught on random edges, I also seem to remember it being much easier to start and finish missions on the computer version. Overall, not a bad game, just meh.

Great game. It's almost exactly like the one inused to play on my old computer (except for a few odd hitbox errors and the ball getting stuck on the flippers if you try to hold it). But i would really like a way to turn off the pop-up numbers and words. Would instantly make it a 5 stsr gsme with these small fixes. (Recently didn't save my latest high score and kept the old one.)

It reminds me a lot of the classic Windows game, but there are a few glaring bugs. One of the attack bumpers has no or poor collision, the ball count counts down from 1 to 0, when it should count up from 1 to 0, hyperspace sound effect doesn't play, and replay ball doesn't seem to work. I am looking forward to these issues being fixed. This is a fun game.

I love the original version of this game. This remake is fairly well done. I have the same issues as other reviewers (physics, sometimes the ball goes through the tips of the flippers, etc.) The biggest reason I rated this 3 when it should be a 5 is because when you do the missions, it does not save your progress after you lose the ball. So you have to start from square one every single time you "die". Please fix this! The game is barely worth playing if I can't progress! Keep up the good work!

It certainly looks and sounds like the Space Cadet that came with XP, but it doesn't completely act like it. Some of the play characteristics are subtly but importantly different. For example, in the original game, when the ball ejects from the hyperspace chute, it is quite likely to bounce off the left flipper and go up the left ramp, but in this game the ball invariably hits the drop-down bank below the chute and fails to do anything useful. In many ways it's like a rigged live arcade version.

It's okay so far. The ball physics feel very different. I played the original on my computer to compare it and the ball definitely travels differently in this version. My biggest physics complaint is that every single time the ball goes into the left-most chute, it will launch out but instead of being shot back up to the top like in the original, it bounces to the right, going into the bumpers and then falls back into the chute only for me to lose.

So it's awesome to find this pinball game for Android! The game is fun and pretty much just like I remember it. My only hangup is it's super glitchy. There's a lag from time to time which makes it hard to time hitting the ball. Sometimes the ball just disappears and reappears dropping from the top of the game (especially in the "black hole" area.). Sometimes the game doesn't reset properly before a new game, and occasionally the ball doesn't "act" right. Fix the glitches and it'll be a 5!!!

it's an extremely admirable effort to port the timeless classic to android, however, some improvements are needed. The physics are just all over the place, and i found it an odd choice to use a 3D-rendered ball on a table that was pre-rendered. The trail that the ball leaves behind is also absent in the original. it's somewhat off-putting, and makes it feel unauthentic. Performance is another issue, as i find the game lagging as the ball is around the bumpers. My phone uses a Snapdragon 835.

Physics are off. Launch ramp is almost impossible to hit. Only get 2 balls unless you watch ads. Unknown if paying the $2.49 will give all three balls. The tail trailing the ball is very annoying. Sensitivity on some of the buttons and drop flags is way to low, or strikes just don't register. Bumper physics just don't hit right. Graphics are amazing! Wish I could find a copy this nice for the PC that played like the original. Will upgrade the stars if issues like these are addressed.

Visually excellent, sound effects are great, and it's very nostalgiac. It's buggy though. Ball glitches and disappears sometimes. If it doesn't reset the ball automatically you have to close the app. The physics are generally off. Magnet at launch ramp is far too strong and the ramp entrance blocks the ball too much. The hyper chute discharge hits the yellow drop zone even when it's already down. The mission buttons sometimes don't register hits. The top-right target bumper is very glitchy.

Overall, it's a good duplicate of the original game, but it's unable to connect to 'play games', so your high score and scores in general can't be saved. Two more things, the physics aren't quite the same as the original and the sound effects aren't the same but other than the 3 things I've mentioned, it's fun and brings back a nostalgic feeling while playing.

Almost as nice as it's ol windows counterpart... almost. Unfortunately, the gameplay is difficult to achieve certain moves that were able to be done in the old version on PC. Not such a big deal breaker though. The ability to play offline is great, but I don't like the fact there neither is a dedicated exit button nor the app allows you to close it other than trough the "close all" option.

Best remake out there so far! Although I do wish the game gave us the whole three balls that the original gave us instead of just giving us two balls, and forcing us to watch an ad for the third. Some of the sound effects are not present, especially in the hyperpsace chute, and some sound effects are not in the correct spots, but I don't really find the latter a huge issue. Overall, it's a pretty solid remake, and would recommend to anyone else like myself who were a major fan of the original!!!

Graphically, this does a great job bringing the classic Full Tilt/Space Cadet Pinball to Android. Unfortunately, however, it falls flat on its face in one very key area: the physics. They've gotten way too "bouncy" now, for lack of a better term, and as a result many shots, such as hitting the targets to select a mission and the ramp to start them, have become almost impossible to make. Also missing some sound effects, which somewhat degrades the experience as well.

Nice to have this on mobile, but theres quite a few bugs that can ruin the game. The black hole doesnt work properly and the ball constantly gets stuck and respawns on top center, which is nice, but the ball doesnt respawn when it gets stuck in the top left hole and ruins the game. The other bug is that the mission target doesnt register half the time when it gets hit by the ball and makes the missions really hard to start.

A decent replication of Space Cadet, which most of the same sounds and aesthetics (different physics, though). They added a zoom in on the plunger so you can accurately launch the ball. However, some parts of the board (such as Black Hole) are broken and just respawn your ball at the top of the table. Also, sometimes your ball just gets stuck and there's nothing you can do.
