This used to be a simple clean program, now it's contaminated with adds..i trim a file and when saving, it takes me to a gd add and my phone won't respond unless going to the add. Appreciate your reply. However there is a huge difference in having adds that by choice a user can select VS being forced into an add before performing an operation.

I have used this recording app for a while, I'm a musician it sounds pretty good when I'm records. I wish U would put in one important factor that truly needs to be added on, becuz if a call comes in or an app is sending something in email, phone calls, clock alarms, ok Sunday I noticed In between my recording it automatically cuts the recorder off and U don't know it STOPS, U have to start over again what could have been a beautiful set, now U have to start again recording, please add, thanks E

I give it five stars because it is a superb yet simple recording tool capable with clear non-distorted sound capture. That said, the inventor / engineer of this didn't go far enough. Because even when giving it permission to record in the background, it did not record my phone conversation, just comes out blank. Other apps get permission to record video and audio. Build that into this app and you'll have a superb audio recorder with truly unique capabilities which we all want and need.

UPDATE 4-18-23 Have occasional issue that seems to cut recorder off mid recording when reminders, notifications etc come in . Any others come across this important issue 🤔 Any remedy to this? I believe that this is the best, reliable app that I have......Sound quality is A1. Have found if you want to fast forward or go backward after a recording it is so sensitive to touch that I find I keep going over the spot that I want to go back to replay & I find that annoying at times. Good App.

Guys... I got this app to record songs on, so I wouldn't forget how they went, and legit... I went through the voice recorder apps, just trying to find one that didn't have in app purchases (cause I hate those) and this app is AMAZING!!! I recorded a six song Christmas album on my Mom's old iPhone (it was bad... Family only). I can't wait to record songs on this app and put them on YouTube. My voice comes back clear, you can hear the guitar easily, and there's no background noise (7 kids). 😍😍

It would be good enough to pay to get rid of the banner ads, but the fact that there are full screen hijacking ones Even trying to rename recordings-- With two phases of closing the ads that if you accidentally click Anywhere but the tiny x that only appears after a while, it automatically installs non Play store apps on to your phone, which is a horrible security threat and disgusting thing to do, Can't recommend. Banner ads are one thing but this is really gross and slimy.

Out of all the apps ive tryes this is definitly the one for me :)This app is fantastic if your trying to get sounds that you cant quiet hear exactly what it is, this recorder does a great job at letting you hear alot better and more clear exactly what the noises are. I did go into settings and played with what to,change to make it better. But also i love that i can easily trim or delete each one and its one ad to watch each time you do a change, which is no big deal :) to me.

This does what I need, and does it well. +Looks nice. Uncluttered and intuitive. +It works! Records my voice well, with good sound quality. +Quick to start. +Can pause/resume recording. +Can change file name before saving. +Shows waveform in recording and playback. +Can trim ends of the recording or snip parts out. +Can add to a recording (Edit/Resume), optionally cutting a chunk from the end of existing recording (Replace) -I would like the default filename to include date/time in ISO format.

The first FREE "personal recording" app with many easy-to-use features, quality engineering, and a very modest amount of user-viewer advertising. Allows continued recording while using other apps, including YouTube, meaning the app can record streaming audio. Can "pause" recording, return hours later to resume. Trim and Delete work well, but there was a learning curve. Not having to pay extra for features or forced to endure multiple enoying ads with no escape option is a welcome relief.

On my new S23 recordings default to a subfolder in my music folder, a ridiculous place to store "not music". I created a new folder (called "Voice recordings") directly in my internal storage. The app cannot see it. It can only see audio folders for other things, like ringtones, podcasts, alarms, etc. You ever have your music playing on random and have it interrupted by a recording of your mileage, or a shopping list? Or try out an alarm only to find it's last week's to do list? Stupid.

This is the best audio recording app I've ever used. Seeing the audio envelope while recording assures that you are capturing the sound as intended. You can name your files. The ability to edit an existing recording is a godsend. Whether you are composing poetry, music, or a memo, you can easily find the recording and continue an idea whenever inspiration strikes. And unlike some other recorders I have tried, it records continuously. Some others I have tried left gaps in the recording.

This is my first day using this app and I am very impressed. The ad banner is in a location that is non-intrusive. The audio flows perfectly and milliseconds are counted. I have been able to categorize my audio files and seemlessly edit my recordings, like picking right up where I left off and continue recording without confusion. I love this app and look forward to supporting your project and going for the ad-free experience, for less than the price of a regular coffee. Awesome app. Thanks 🙏

Wow. For my purposes I personally would prefer to not be able to edit or clip the recordings, but I very much like that it's an included feature. At this point I haven't seen a single ad even though it is free, the audio coming through is very clear and is not distorted by sound pollution (I used a microwave to test), and it is exactly as advertised. A free, high quality, easy to use, audio recorder. One more thing. Nadia, in reading reviews, I sure wish I could leave five stars for you.

I've been using this app for over a year and I love it! It's far superior to many of the other recorder apps available. And I must have tried at least a dozen before I started using this one. It's very simple to use and you can name each recording, which makes for easy playback. Even with it being a free app there are NO ADS!!! The recordings are clear and undistorted when you play them back and it can pick up sounds easily from quite a range. You won't find a better recorder app for free!

Recorded five band songs and lost them all when changing file location in the app. So don't do this: I selected "File Location" from Settings. Navigated to the Music folder on the SD Card and created a new folder. Said "yes" when prompted to select the folder, and "no" when asked to move my files there (I changed my mind). When I returned to the app, my files were gone, and the files didn't appear in the new folder I had created. In other words, the app deleted them. Thanks alot! Argh....

It's a great, simple, and very consistent app, that has seriously helped me keep all my ideas together and organized without using up so much memory like I was before, but now all my spontaneous melodies, lyrics, and guitar riffs for songs when they come to me are all conveniently in one place and labeled well so I can find them quickly. I'm sure there are things I could say to improve it but I won't cuz it's worked well for so long I don't want to end up causing what no one wants. It's perfect*

This app is superior to all the other ones I tested first. I must have downloaded a dozen different sound and voice recorders from Google Play Store and none of them matched up to this one. This one will pick up your voice from far away and when you play it back you have the option like a sound booster to play back between 100% And 200% volume. This is really a first class app. Not a lot of bells and whistles because it doesn't need it. Real simple real easy to use and it definitely performs. This app would get a whole new meaning to the term you can hear a pin drop

Simple app. Does what it says it does, records audio. Very intuitive UI, so it's easy to get started. You can record files as MP3, WAV, or AAC. There are some options for audio quality customization in settings. You can name the files as you save, or keep them as numbered recordings. Recording quality is as good as the microphone you use. If you don't want ads, pay a one time fee to remove them. No subscription necessary. Thank you, developers! Edit: Loud ads now play in between each recording.

This app does everything I need it to do. Crystal clear sound up to 50' away. NO background static. Runs in the background under other apps. It even continues to run when the phone is dark. Oh, and no ads! The programmers commitment to excellence shines through this app like the midday sun. If your surfing for a voice recorder, search no more.

App is basic, but the tools work well, and the "isolation" is excellent on my Samsung A 10a. Sounds great for narration work.. It makes mp4 files, so you may need an editing app like audacity (free) to make full use of this app. But that's not an issue in any case This was a real problem solver Also, no ads! [For my setup at least] So yes, go ahead and get this one.
