Absolutely awful! Constant glitches that interfere with playtime. Music categories have to be leveled up. However, there isn't enough money to earn to level them all up, so you're not getting credit to play lists. Games freeze, crash, etc. Constant closing the app to reload so it works correctly. Submit a ticket to support, and a response takes forever and is never helpful. Not worth it! Classic is significantly better!

Fun and engaging. To the apps credit, I played for about an hour before I got tired of the ad system. You play for less than 45 seconds, then you get a 30 second advertisement, unless you're willing to stick with the beginning album you receive for the duration of your playtime. The devs expect you to pay about $10 a month to avoid spending as much time watching ads as you do actually playing. Even a one time cost of five dollars would have been pushing it, but an actual subscription service?

I play very sparsely, and when I have an abundant amount of time to kill. This game is so completely down trodden with ads, especially during the tournaments. Also the constant refilling of xp/coins is highly annoying and costs too much money. I'm also not going to shell out money every days to refill the crystals or for songpop plus or whatever it is. Any enjoyment that could be had with this game is behind a paywall and a ridiculous amount of ads. Honestly, not even worth it at this point.

Meh. Having played SongPop2 for years, there's nothing readily new or impressive in this version. You can't transfer progress from 2 to 3, the endless ads are a turnoff, and the expiring stars or whatever they are is just confusing. I'm not going to pay more for premium with 3 when I already have VIP in 2. Disappointing. I'll happily stick with 2.

How do you equip a frame?? I this song pop it even more than songpop classic, but it has so much lag and freezing. It is really bad today. I waited 5-10 for a tournament game to select a Playlist then gave up. It is taking forever to load individual games as well - it timed out on me a couple of times. Fix the glitch, please!

It won't load and when it loads its hard to play any challenges cause they take to long to load. Everybody has issues like this and nothing gets done about it. I have updated and uninstalled time after time and nothing changes. Get to a certain level and stops working. Like too many songs or playlists it stops working it is b*llshit. FIX THE GAME PLEASE!!! It is happening again and I just started the plus program. It wont start and neither will the challenges

SongPop 2 is WAY better!!! Been playing for years and was super excited for SongPop 3... Don't even bother with this one. It's a step backwards from SongPop 2. The game itself is laggy and I'm constantly having issues. Issues with clicking things and I'll save a playlist and it won't be there even though it says saved. The whole idea with pick one playlist to play against everyone and only earning so much xp per hour is dumb. Stick to SongPop 2. Not sure how there are any 5 stars on this app.

This last version is broken. When I try to play the next opponent, I click on the button and it just returns to the previous screen. The only choices are to chat or sticker (then I can't cancel it either to return) or start a new game. I have dozens of started matches to reply to! It has been impossible to return to home now. I have to close the app and start again after each match

Game is fine if it didn't have so many ads. Ads are absolutely horrendous. You watch an ad before and after almost every turn. It takes 3 to 4 clicks to exit ad. You click out the intital time, then it makes you wait and click out another time. Then it makes you click out another page for the ad which takes you to a playstore pop up you have to exit. You have to watch ads to use certain Playlist even turning your turns. I just won't play game, not paying $10.

I'm really frustrated with where this game has gone. I loved this game back in the day to the point where I purchased the premium edition. So much for that since I can't play it anymore. I tried this out, and the amount of ads I had to sit through infuriated me. This game has become another staple of the worst monetized mobile games out there. The fact that I feel required to pay a monthly fee to enjoy basic features like utilizing more than one Playlist is a huge red flag. This isn't okay.

This is the worst version of songpop. I love the daily tuneology segment but you can't keep a streak because there's often 2 or sometimes 3 versions of the same exact song listed, no difference whatsoever and you'll lose your stream because you didn't choose the right one. It is beyond frustrating. The Playlists are fine and I like that there's a random option if you don't know what you're feeling but overall terrible app. I prefer songpop classic.

I love Song Pop classic and have been playing over 10 years. I do not like Song Pop 3, now redubbed just Songpop, at all. I tried and it ugly, it's too busy, it's tedious to navigate, etc. It does nothing well whereas Song Pop classic remains great. Now though the developers are shoving this game on classic players forcing us to play both. That's how you lose paying customers. I will cancel my classic subscription if this continues. As will many. We don't want to play this game!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I pay for premium plus on Classic. It said it would crossover but it doesn't. When I try to play (some of the missions want me to crossover too! Not cool!) this app it wants me to pay for a 2nd subscription! Greedy AF!!! Then there is an option to watch an ad so I watch an ad and then the round doesn't work and it wants me to watch again!!! FT! Uninstall immediately if you have already downloaded. Stick with Classic.

The UI is terrible and confusing. The back button is useless. The animations are sooo slow and you can't skip them. They bombard you with ads, even if you have premium. Who would actually pay for chat stickers? They tell you the other persons answer before you answer. I tried the free trial, its still so obnoxiously bad. Get a better development team, guys.

I used to really love this app and have spent lots of time playing it. But, it barely functions now. It keeps freezing or lagging, so I have to completely close the app just to continue. It has stuck on that annoying pig that has to pop up ~EVERY SINGLE ROUND~ already 3 or 4 times just tonight. The game being essentially broken has me about ready to uninstall. I personally love pigs, but having the bank pop up ~unskippable~ every round... it's really annoying.

Usually love playing Song Pop. It jogs my memory on songs I haven't heard in a long time. BUT.. haven't been able to play for over a week because of a "message " I get a soon as I go on it. Something new about team leader board. No way to click out of it or even click on it. Frustrating!

Playing since January of '22. Pray for Version 4 be better. Can't hold this many people on this version somewhat better than v2. The play is faster which is good. One tournament is weak. The game doesn't find me fies. I have to go look for them. Make it more compatible on what we play. Overwhelmed w it. Playing SongPop since '12. How about mini tournaments like me vs 4 and get quicker bonuses. Games are very time consuming.
