Over the years I've tried using a number of sites to alert me of concerts and all of them just bombarded me with nonstop emails for artists I was not interested in and all kinds of BS until I found Songkick. So happy with it, it has been perfect for me. I never get anything but concert announcements for the people I picked. Could not be happier!

I love how it lets me know about upcoming shows! The notifications for things like pre-sales is helpful too. My only complaints are (1) there is a show from last month that has been frozen at the top of the locations menu, (2) it keeps insisting that I'm following an artist that I am not, and (3) if you add an artist, the app will not automatically tell you if there is a show soon. Those are only minor issues that in no way prevent me from using the app and regularly adding more artists.

I've had this app for a long time, but I constantly get notifications for artists I don't listen to and aren't even on my Spotify. It has me tracking hundreds of people so it's not that simple to just go through and untrack everyone I don't want notifications for. I wish it was only artists in my Spotify library. I tried to email and ask for a fix to this but it doesn't work through the app. It's easier to sign up for updates from the venues than to rely on songkick with the app the way it is.

sends me notifications when my genre of concerts become available. i like everything from rap, hip-hop, heavy metal, classic rock, and bands my parents listened to when i was a kid. has links to buy tickets in just one click. its a pretty great app if you ask me! also lets you put in different states to search (automaticly) and saves them too. its great since i travel to a few different states monthly!!

probably the best app you'll find for tracking artists, no need to check every band's social media for a tour announcement. usually. My main complaint is that push updates sometimes dont come fast enough- and I hate push notifications, I keep most disabled.Maybe it's Android 9, but I sometimes get announcement notices weeks after. not a big deal most of the time, but it can sometimes be the difference between snagging face value tickets or having to settle for obscenely expensive resale tickets.

The concept of this app is great, but some basic features barely work. The search is buggy at best. It randomly returns no results sometimes and you have to retype your search several times for it to work. Something with the search as you type logic is broken. Also searching with symbols seems to be broken, cannot find the artist "again&again" in the search, and the search results are limited to 9 results so you can't even scroll through all the possible artists to compensate.

Couldn't find how to say how far I am willing to go for a concert. When I just write in my city, it gives me local shows but doesn't filter for music tastes or anything like that. It also doesn't really help you track artists; you basically have to look up each artist individually in the app to see what concerts they're having. I downloaded this in the hopes it would send me notifications of shows in my area, but it doesn't do what I want

This app doesn't preserve your setup between devices, doesn't import band preferences when you link it to Facebook, and is generally a hassle to set up each time. It therefore failed to notify me about Midnight Oil's final tour. I should've deleted SongKick and looked for something better years ago. Hopefully if I do that now, I won't miss other acts, but missing my absolute favourite artist, in the wake of Covid, is something I'll never forgive the makers of this app for.

Good idea for an app but totally unusable for what I need. I don't have any concert venues near me, so I look up nearby cities. First, there is no way to filter concerts in a particular city for a specific date. Second, after I spend time scrolling to a specific date I need at a location I need, as soon as I click on an event or open another app to look up the artist, it all goes back to the current date. It doesn't remember where you were in the list. Super frustrating.

The app is ok. I don't like how i have to enter every city i wish to find shows at. I wish you could just narrow it down to a state rather than selecting each city. It's very tedious. Then another gripe i have is that if you use Spotify and wish to track artists associated with your account, it will recommend everything that was played on your account, even if it was music played by your friends and family. I get a lot of pop recommendations, which i don't listen to.

Really cool app. Love how it connects with Spotify. I would really like to choose a home location and mile radius that it searches for concerts. I don't really want to add every city around me to find stuff, and I'm afraid I'll miss someone if I'm not thorough. Also, on my Galaxy S10 it seems to require two taps on the search bar to start typing, a minor issue. Otherwise, a really good app that does it's job well.

Excellent tool for finding and planning shows. Would give five stars but could use a couple small improvements - a "search by date" option would be good, and the abiloty to enter a "distance from" a certain location, rather than being confined to a specific city. edit: I've become increasingly frustrated with the location searching function. Many smaller towns arw lumped into the New York, NY area, and i have to scroll through hundreds of NY shows to find one in an NJ town. Very obnoxious.

I appreciate the service this app offers but the app is so frustrating to use. The search function only searches for artists and often doesn't work, you can't search specific dates for a location, and the UI is annoying. I've been using this app for a years now and the experience has been consistent, I haven't seen any noticable updates for it. I avoid using it unless I get a notification for someone I actually want to see play.

I find this app to be extremely useful when tracking artists that I might want to see playing live. The one feature it does not have that I really wish it would allow for in the settings, is to turn off turn off the locations that there's no way you'll ever be able to attend. For example many of the bands that I like are not American bands and so they may be touring but not in the US. So I'd rather not scroll through all the bands I like and the locations when they're all going to be in Germany or Europe or someplace and may never come to the u.s. So the feature would be 'don't show me locations that are more than say 500 miles away' or something

Mediocre at best. Only gives notification for concerts near the location you pick, instead of notification that the artist is going to tour, so that a person can see what locations may work best for them, even if the options aren't close to the chosen location on the app. Desktop allows to do extended location search notifications but doesn't tell you how far the extended location search is. I'll travel anywhere to see the artists I want, this app is very limited and limiting.

I didn't know I needed this app until I found out it existed. Great concept, pretty good UI. My only complaint is that when I'm in the Artists tab, if I tap on an artist to see their upcoming shows, when I hit the back arrow it goes to the top of the list instead of where I was. With a big library, it gets pretty tedious having to scroll down over and over.

Not liking the new concert list format. It sacrifices a lot of fast convenience to shove recommendations in my face for bands. I like music discovery but not at the expense of the core experience. The new list shows less information at a glance, seems to omit certain shows, and caps the visible time period way too soon. The website still gets it right. Make recommendations a different tab, and make the slider vertical again.

This app *can* be good for finding concerts, but it doesn't allow for changing of your location, which is massively inconvenient. To top that off, it didn't even properly register where home is for me, so the concerts it does recommend to me by default aren't in the right or closest locations to me. So, while it's already a pain to use, it's far worse if you're traveling and trying to see what's coming up nearby.

Good concept and no ads. Some room for improvement: Search doesn't always work. Can't filter by specific dates in cities. Wish you could track venues. When in the Artists tab, if you click on someone to see their shows, and then try to go back, it takes you to the top of the Artists tab again and it takes awhile to scroll back to where you were. When adding event to calendar, does not add event time. Deceased artists could be marked as such.

Can no longer track..Only scans Spotify but I have YT music. I wish it would scan that. Good things: Has really changed the way I listen to music and see the artists I love but I dislike the way it looks for concerts. I would like to see if my artists are playing anywhere within a X mile radius. If I Want to follow my favorite bands, I don't care what city they are in specifically, as much as I care that they are within 2-3 hours drive. It would be better if alerts were issued by venue distance.
