SPIDER SOLITAIRE

This seemed great—colorful graphics, smooth play, nice collection of games… But something kept bothering me about it. Then I realized: It has an animated background of twinkling stars—and you _can't turn it off_. There's all this twinkling going on, elsewhere on the screen, while you're trying to concentrate. What were they thinking? Maybe some people like being distracted—but for the rest of us, how about making it optional? 🤷♂️

Autoplays ads between games & they're the kind where it makes you watch a few seconds before the x pops up, then a few more secs, x, then finally allows you to close the ad. If you finish the game it makes you go thru it all twice, so personally I ignore my stats, get the game close to finished & start a new one. Fine game but frustrating ads. Especially as it's just a basic card game.

Paid for the Ad free version, did as expected for over a year but now there are annoying and intrusive Ads popping up at the start every game. This is dishonesty and braking an agreement, not to mention scamming money from people who do not wish to be bombarded with that garbage. The games are ok but so what. This is being tricked into paying for stuff that you get hit with all the time for nothing. I have been in touch with Solitaire Collection support, but no response. Integrity?

Used to love this app, so I paid to remove ads. That was fine for a long time, then suddenly a few weeks ago, ads reappeared, along with the annoying pop-up to remove ads. So I paid again, thinking maybe new developers or something genuine. Then suddenly, today, endless ads reappeared. Emails to the developer's alleged address are unanswered. Clearly a rip-off. Uninstalling immediately.

It's a great game, no complaints there, and I understand the need for ads. But they've been overriding my system settings and are super loud and that's not cool. Also I've already paid for the game on my tablet, but that doesn't seem to transfer to my phone, despite using the same email address.

Very fun, and enjoyable versions of the 3 most popular forms of Solitaire. This has only 1 major shortcoming. There are plenty of ads, but you can't win any actual money like in Cube and a few of the public will see this shortcoming....... but who knows. They may add that feature later. I would like to see where we are paid to deal with ads, hoping to get some of the advertisements.

The game was great until about a week ago I can't get on to play. The page goes black and can't play. Ugh 😫. Please fix the game so I can play again. Thank you

These developers have figured out how to legally steal your money. I'd bet they're literally rolling in it. I'm done giving. Think the developers are on wacky tabackey!! No points for winning each game. A new game will start while you're in the middle of another one. Now looking for a NEW solitaire competitions. Update: Still the same, but the adreline rush of live tournaments is a nice break from the day to day life.

Have had this game for years. Have enjoyed the different ways I can play the solitaire game. I know the ads are annoying and the short ones I don't mind but when they're 30 seconds or more I tend to back out of the game and go back in to start a new game. It seems to work.

I'd like to update my review (6/19/23). What is going on here? The app keeps crashing! Doesn't matter which game I'm in, after a few minutes the game freezes and then jumps back to my home screen. I deleted and reloaded the app a couple times without any success at fixing the problem. Also, all of a sudden I'm seeing ads in between games, yet I've been charged $2.99/month for the app to be ad free. I'm ready to quit this app, even though I've been playing on it for awhile and enjoy the games.

This app steals money. I had this app for years and there were no vocal ads. Just a few small silent pop ups. And I mean a very few. Then they awarded popping up often and very loud. Then I paid to remove ads. They have come back within 2 weeks and I can't remove them. This app robbed me. This is BS. Thieves!

I used to play this game for years without problems. Somewhere along the line, after many device changes, I forgot about it. I recently bought a new phone, was looking for a solitaire game and this one popped up. That made my day until I started playing it. The word update keeps popping up. I click it. It brings me here and there's nothing to update. I can't play the game any further after that point. The old adage is true. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Uninstalling.

The ads are ridiculous. The same ads BLASTING through your speakers. You have to exit out 4 pages and if you are not DIRECTLY on the X you are taken to google play...this is before AND after each play. Tricky marketing strategy that will leave customers moving onto another app. And...we are back to the old confirm-after-connecting-to-the-internet issue. This is why I quit playing before. The only way to fix this issue is to reinstall and lose everything. Very BS, if you ask me.

The game is good but I paid to NOT have ads. Not just once but on my previous phone too since it wouldn't let me carry the subscription between phones. This latest update brought ads back. WHAT THE HECK?! Why are the ads back? Did you decide my payment was no longer valid? And on top of that their support email bounces. I can't even get through to them. This company is a scam.

The longer I have had this game on my phone, the more ads there seem to be. Lately there is a 30 second ad (primarily for Fishdom) after every single game. It's very annoying to play the 6 daily games and have to be subjected to long ads between each game. It would help if it wasn't 90%or more Fishdom ads too! So close to uninstalling...

Had this game for a year or more. Originally purchased it to get rid of ads. Now with the latest update the ads are back. Worse than ever. You win or lose you get an ad. Start a new game you get an ad. Go back to home screen you get an ad. Looked for an option to purchase. There isn't one. Emailed the developers and got no reply as of 3 days later. Use to be my favorite game. Due to these factors im going to uninstall and never recommend to anyone.

I paid for this game on my last phone, but the purchase apparently doesn't transfer to my new phone. Now I'm stuck with ads, and even if I wanted to pay again, because I really like the game, that's not even offered as an option. I hate dealing with ads, which is why I paid in the first place, but if I'd known it wouldn't follow me from one device to another, I may not have. Changed my rating from 5 stars to 3 as a result.

The game itself would be okay if you didn't have to pay to remove ads on every device you have. Once you pay for the upgraded version you should be able add it to a new phone or tablet without having to pay again. It just put ads back on same device after having been removed for 6 months. This is a complete rip off!!!! I have contacted them numerous times and no response.

I used to hate all "free" apps equally because of the advertisements. But now I realize there are some that do ad revenue right, and many many more who do it wrong. This one gets it right!!! No long ads that aren't skippable! No pop up ads during the middle of a game! Banner ads aren't too flashy! Ads don't automatically take you to the app store when they finish! I never have audio on so I don't know if they're really loud but I bet they aren't. Thanks for integrating ads the RIGHT WAY!!!!!

This app is great. I like the different ways to play these games. The advertisements, however, are so annoying, I almost want to delete it. I am especially bothered by the loud music that comes with video adds. I don't mind the videos, but the audio is too much. I don't play the game with sound. Then the add pops up blasting music, and the mute buttons are hard to find. It would be great if those ads would disappear!!!
