Was very good at first. Now (6 months later), I play every day. Great app. Board, options, see your own ratings, there's nothing I don't like bout this app. Pick your opponents, according to their strengths, ratings. Play 1 or 2 games at a time, or even 100 games, as I have. Love it. And believe me, I'm a 60yr old technophobe. Great stuff!!! 5/5.

Loving the game play so far. Setting the timing for moves against family and friends is a real joy. I however have to give it 4 stars because it doesn't allow castling in the game. (The move that allows you to shift between brook and king when the way is clear and your king isn't threatened) Its a very good move when in a pinch and I'm sorry it doesn't allow it. Aside from that awesome app.

I have tried many chess apps, this is by far the best app. With the other apps I experienced multiple bugs and crash downs. This app has a very good sortiment of chess game variations. Bullet, Blitz, Rapid and Classic. Good communication opportunities with opponents, and good tracking of games played. I can really advise to use this app! A big thank you for those who put in so much effort to make this app 👏🏽

It's not Yahoo chess, but it was ok before the update. The strategic analysis of games that is available. I do wish it had the public game/chat rooms as well as the undo buttons available which made Yahoo chess so great. The current update has glitches with the sound of moves (sometimes it sounds, sometimes not) which makes blitzes and bullets extremely tricky because if u blink, u can miss a move. Ive had a great time with this app (thus just upgraded to Premium... Which is in no way forced on users to play online....). Games are very quick to find, matchmaking seems fair, though everyone is better than me, thats not the apps fault! This is a really nice, well designed multiplayer chess game. I generally play Shredder Chess v the CPU, and could beat that on pretty high settings, NOTHING like a human opponent though (as Ive found out!) Well worth a try for all Chess players!

Fabulous minimalist design! In my humble opinion - the best Chess game available on Android. I just love how You can customize the animation and it has elegant chess pieces. The developers are listening and fixing the reported bugs, such as the notification issue, as of the latest update.. Thank you for developing this app and good luck keeping it up! ✨

My experience with this app is very mixed. When it works it's great, but at times it simply loses connection, despite my phone showing full 5g internet connection and other apps running. It's really frustrating to 'lose' games that time out because it cuts your connection for no reason, not one I can work out anyway. Is there a workaround to prevent this?

This is a really good chess app. Multi level players. Easy to read the board. No crazy ads interrupting your game. You can play fast where you complete the game in one sitting...or games that give you hours or even days to take your turn. I highly recommend this chess app. So I'm updating and can say I'm still very pleased with this app. It's great.

Level development with the pieces all changed around in the fast game is interesting. I look forward to games with other players, and recommend this app to would-be players completely. There are computer diagnostics and plenty of parameters for turning on or off options, changing the similitude or sound of your move. You can change your profile picture and name up to once a month. You can refuse a game offered by a friend. If you want to play chess, this is the app for you.

The BEST Chess App I have ever played. The analyzing tools and the level of players really help my game. I would recommend this App to any level Chess player. If anyone says this isn't the best app, it's because they haven't figured out the settings and how to navigate the app. You can also BLOCK annoying or rude players and only chat with friends or respectful players you allow. (My favorite feature about this app) The worst part is that sometimes you lose connection during a game.

I absolutely love this app to play chess. Ok, I'm a beginner, lol so, I'm gonna make a suggestion. My suggestion is: it would be wonderful if when you went to take your turn, the computer would guide you on the best move in order to win or get ahead in the game. It would help beginners like me. Other than that, this is THE ABSOLUTE BEST chess app out there. We play every day!

Best chess app ive used. I love how I dont have to sit down for an entire game. I can make games last 5 days per move. So we have plenty of time for a game. The strategy board is really cool too. It will make a clone of your current game + allows you to move both teams pieces. Helps you think things through. No ads whatsoever too which is always a win. Only downside i have is there isn't enough game modes other than 960 for the premium users. More game modes and this will be the best chess app.

After trying a couple online chess apps with first being overloaded with ads rendering it almost unplayable. I ended up with this app. So far ads are minimal or non-existent making the game very playable. Just a minor "bug". It does not always notify you of your move nor does it remove notification when you get back to game other than tapping on the notification. Small issue, no big deal but would be nice to be fixed.

Its a really good app , I haven't had any problems with it , always runs smooth . I like that you can have multiple games going . I like the game selection, also that you can watch others play their games live feed , & the random Opponent, which you can select from skill level or not . Im not sure what options you get when you actually pay for the app , I do know you get more then 5 games at a time

I've used different apps for chess but love this one the most. I like how you're able to rewind each move which is useful to me playing throughout the day. It's efficient, it has multitude of options in the settings, displays players stats, offers a separate chat, the layout of past and current games, no ads! I can't say enough about how much I enjoy this app. Bravo!

Generally a very good application. I'm using the free version but considering paying to go all in. My phone recently turned into a brick. I could not recover my account. Support was immediate and very effective. Turns out I had mistyped my email during the original registration. It took my being told to look hard at my email several times before I caught it. Clearly it was my problem. I was impressed with the support; very fast responses to email That's worth supporting the developer, imo.
