Absolutely pointless App. First you need to be able to access your email on a separate device when creating your account because when you go to get the validation code you can't enter in the app anymore. Once you've got past that you have to upload any tickets you have....but....once you've done and you log out, they aren't there when you log back in. You have to upload them again. So no point in having the app. Classic case of technology creating a problem rather than solving one.

Very easy to use! Even booking from a different country. Although it would only give me one route when I knew there was another (preferable) option. I found it using the Via tab.

I can buy tickets ok but the "show your ticket" button does nothing. Even the train conductor could not make it work. Luckily when he read the trip details he knew I had indeed paid for the ticket. I have purchased several tickets and the "show your ticket" button never works. This is the Google Play android download of April 2024. I reported the problem to SNCF Connect but no answer yet. By comparison, DB app in Germany works great.

Been using the app for several years, I can clearly say that this app doesn't work correctly. For example, now I saw a schedule for a trip from a city to another, and a few minutes after, I saw that there's no schedule, no train from this city to another.

I don't normally write salty reviews, but I have to be honest on this one. Not the most intuitive app. I have regularly problems topping up my navigo card. I just lost 17€ and it's impossible to get refunded because their in-app customer service is an abomination that makes you go round and round. Seriously how can a public service app from such a big company be this bad?

The only issue with the app is when I book from the USA, I need to put the departure time in my local US time. That's not very practical, it makes more sense to search for trains in French local time. I couldn't find a way to change that in the app.

Wants a lot achieves nothing. Cannot properly look for train between two train stations. Don't bother to create an account doesn't make any difference. I tried to purchase tickets but the items never left the basket, after approving the payment in my bank app it returned like never happened and didn't take the money.

Would have loved for this app to work, but it is terribly buggy. It will not show me my ticket info so I cannot access the QR codes for my trips. It's temperamental often blacking out. When you need to enter a confirmation code for verification navigating to email to get the code closes the page where you are supposed to enter it. I had to open my laptop to be able to do it. Customer service chat from SNCF via Whatsapp is very good, and I get to practice writing in French. But need QRs to travel

It is packed with irrelevant advertising; you cannot see a route details: the chat or "AI" function dies not understand any question, even one word questions. And thanks to SNCF policy, just about impossible to plan anything with a bicycle. If you are a business person going from big city to big city, great. But if you are planning a vacation, useless.

For the past two months, I have been unable to top up my Navigo card with this app. The NFC interaction fails every time. I am proposed Customer Service, but accessing this requires a login to a different account than the app itself, and once there it proposes that I scan my card, which also fails. From there the Customer Service option takes me back to the same scan! In other words there is no human providing support when the app has problems.

Very good app easy to use however the only challenges I have is that the timing isn't match with the schedules, sometimes if there is any delay on the train the app won't take that into consideration . if you are late to work and jump into the train expecting to book you might end up missing that hour unless you choose another hour. There should be few minutes to compensate for delay and emergency situation.

This could be a great app (with a nice looking UI) but as other reviews say, it's counterintuitive. For a return journey with a single connection I struggle to find all the passes (QR codes) and also when exported to wallet only the 3 of 4 tickets are exported. Not to mention the reduction cards that are misleading and you need to be an expert to know when and if you will get a discount... or the option to buy metro tickets that is simply unreliable...

the app update/change lost tickets i had in old app, it added back in journeys I had canceled, which means the tickets it shows are useless, it takes many more steps to search journeys and see prices, impossible to compare options this way, much harder visually to look at. absolutely awful "update". unusable app but only choice... will have to go back to printing out tickets from my email IF i can manage to book still. This is unusable trash app.

So far, works ok. But cluttered and hard to read. No way to change background color from black to white. EDIT: Thanks for your reply. But you are mistaken. The color scheme makes it very difficult for me (at least) to read. You draw the eye to buttons instead of the important information like date/time of ticket. Perhaps you could give your users a choice of color schemes instead of telling users they are wrong about what is and is not easy for them to read.

You cannot buy tickets. You always get an error. On website the error is always: unfortunately last tickets just sold out please choose another train. On app the error is always: Sorry, an error has occurred. Please try again later. For both, any choice of train, for any date and any destination and any class of transport and the message is always the same. Trains continue to show up again as having tickets when you search again. Clearing cache and reinstalling app do not help. Based in Spain

The scheduling part of this app is fine, but you CANNOT use it to purchase a ticket. It sends you to your bank app and you can get your clé digitale activated, but the transaction never completes and you cannot display an e-ticket, even if you have an email to confirm your purchase. Total waste of time. Also you cannot purchase a ticket if it is too close to your departure time. I want to be able to use the app because I don't have time to wait in line because the train is arriving!!

I have to give less stars. This app apparently has a serious glitch. I keep trying to purchase tickets on the app, but I keep getting message there are no trains for my journey. I know this is not true. I have to go to another source to purchase my tickets. This is time consuming. SNCF app made it easy to purchase my tickets for a year. I don't know what Tech did, but they messed up real bad. Also, reaching someone is nearly impossible. The BOT sends you in a continuous circle. Very frustrating.

Purchased a metro ticket: I had to install a series of different apps, needed to create user accounts with all kinds of intransparent services, and was asked to upload my photo for validation... All of this with the result that the ticket has been paid but vanished from my phone. In the end, I purchased my metro tickets at a machine using cash and will continue to do so. That was more efficient and took less time than trying to figure out this app.

I almost didn't download this app because the recent reviews were so terrible, but it seems to work fine for me. Bought a ticket, not too hard. Took a US Visa card no problem. Does seem a bit bloated (100mb), and time wasting intro and "let's take a tour of the app" animations -- more traditional and simple would be better for a train app -- but overall it fulfilled its function without undue hassle.

Always losing my selections. I'm traveling with my family and I'm constantly having to add the travelers back in, and change age, type in ages, when looking for new routes. Every other travel app I use remembers this by default from my last search. Also when I look for a different route while in the same app session, it won't display prices. When you then select to book or check prices, it reverts back to a previous search criteria that I had moved on from. So frustrating.
