Frequently logs you out, app sometimes won't open, and there are too many specialized jobs listed (for things like teachers, medical professionals, scams for "survery takers," and often 10-20 truck driving positions back to back). There are so few real offers listed, and the listings are never updated to show when a job has already been filled. There's also no option to "show less" of jobs you aren't interested in. Needs more filters, too.

I personally liked the old version of this app because it gave me more filters and posted jobs that were actually near me. Now it shows jobs that are in another state and there isn't an actual way to make it, even 5 miles from me, to have it at my zip code as the app requires. Simplistic menus are easy but not when you're trying to find a job that is close. Sorry guys... :(

Why does these apps exist?? They are complete garbage. Search engine don't work well, everytime you try to type what you need it'll search up its own thing total opposite of what I need. It's a waste of time it's better you drive around and apply through the websites. I don't recommend any of these apps.

This has got to be the worse app I've ever had to use. 1. The match making sucks. 2. It constantly logs you out. 3. If you put in a specific mile range (1-10 miles) it literally shows stuff out of state.

Pros: ? Cons: 1. Have to sign in EVERY SINGLE TIME I use the app 2. SO MANY postings are 30+ days old 3. WAY too many postings for Lyft and Uber, etc. If I wanted to drive for either company or anybody else, I would apply on their website, not look for that in a job listings app. I filter my search for REGULAR, part/full time jobs, NOT a "gig". Yet filtering for part + full-time work does not eliminate said listings. It's VERY annoying. 4. Approximately 75% of pay is WAY OFF, 2x-3x ACTUAL PAY.

The worst search possible! I typed "Unarmed Security Guard" into the search, and a bunch of non-related jobs like cyber security came up. Nobody wants to go on an hour long, time-consuming search and find mission. Very frustrating!! There's better job apps than this one.

It has my zip code for the job search set 2 and a half hours from my actual location, and it won't let me change it. My profile does have the proper zip code but it won't use that one to search for a job. This is one of the worst programmed apps I've ever seen.

Won't let you select a location. App also attempts to track your location and apparently doesn't need your location to know about where you are. It shows me jobs based on a zip near me. With no location permission or permissions of any sort. Becofr accepting toc or anything. Like hell I'd trust a job from an app like this. If you got robbed, kids kidnapped, or anything else and wondered how they knew you were there. You downloaded snagajob, the serial stalker app.

Update: So I looked for specific jobs/business, even typed in the names correctly. It literally gave me everything else but what I was looking for, and the distances of some of the jobs they suggested are way to far even though I adjusted the distance and the filters. It never got handled, basically useless!

Terrible app for job hunting. It never gives results for what I've searched for. It gives me every position in the medical field highering. I search for Veterinary Assistant and I human Doctors, veterinarians, technicial, nurses and reception but no VA jobs which I see on google and other job search apps. So I know there is this position available. Search feature needs a lot of work!

The search results are not accurate on this app. If I put in a specific search, it may only use one word in the search and it isn't at all what I am looking for. The job and industry interests in my profile are not accurate at all although it says they are based on my searches and profile info. It's ok for looking if you don't mind going through a lot of useless searches; you may get lucky and find what you're really looking for.

Absolutely amazing. The app was quick and efficient, it was easy to apply and I got a job on the second day of applying. Already scheduled for orientation! I really reccomend it for young teens who need a first part time job or adults who are looking for something to help pay the bills. And with the various filters, you can look for something that you want in your area without having to scroll through the internet.

I mainly use indeed so I figured I could see even more jobs and hopefully a variety if I got snagajob. Nope. I can scroll on it for 5 minutes and it's the same 3 or 4 jobs/companies repeated over and over and over and over. Super annoying and inconvenient. Even the setup of the app is unattractive and not especially user friendly. Definitely not worth taking up space on my phone.

I love this app's many options. I love the fact that I can pick and choose multiple towns and cities in which I'd like to work. I can also set multiple industries in which I'm interested, and I can also set my default interest to be a part-time job, full-time job, other, or any combination of jobs. The other apps only allow you to choose one or the other. The only problem I'm encountering is when I try to go to the potential employer's website to apply. Most times it fails to take me there.

I liked the old layout better.. it was more clear and the 1-click apply worked MUCH EASIER. I am a bit annoyed that I there is no way to ensure that the DATE (newest to oldest) doesn't retain it's setting when I select it in the "additional filters" .. this used to be an amazing app, now's it's a bit scattered and I don't enjoy using it as much, as I feel it's become.a hassle

When you click the apply button, nothing happens. When you search for a job, the previous search is what comes up for a few seconds. When I go to another app and then come back to snagajob, the app restarts again and what ever I was doing is gone. Also, I do not like the automatic resume feature because it barely has anything. I would rather upload my own resume and then attach it to applications instead of it being automatically done.

There is an issue with the App crashing at random on the first page of an application. This is clearly a major inconvenience when trying to fill in forms and can become very frustrating after multiple attempts to complete a single application. Others seem to be experiencing the same problem and the fact that this has not been addressed is a huge oversight on the developers end. I hope to see improvements or I will not continue using this app only to lose my progress repeatedly. Good luck.

I like the app most of the time. PROS: - Simple layout and design. - Easy to understand. - Doesn't force you to upload a resume, like other apps I've tried. - Reminds you to finish applications if you had to stop for whatever reason. CONS: - Won't let you report a listing if it's fake or the position is taken. - Some listings are months old, but the date posted won't show up. - It needs more filters. There aren't a lot.

Snagajob functions very poorly compared to other apps like ZipRecruiter and Indeed. When adding a position title for previous work experience, the app is not capable of allowing you to manually enter responses, which is a serious problem. I can't add 'Sales Associate', 'Independant Contractor', or personal assistant. There are 5 or less options that drop down, of which you must choose from. This is not only frustrating, but incredibly restricting..because I can't add valuable work experience.

Snagajob needs to get with the modern times. I think it's unecessary to have to search for your job title when adding your work experience. Half of the job titles they don't even have listed in their system. Like other job boards you can type your title. I also think it's unecessary to upload your resume and then have to also manually type in your work experience. It doesn't make sense when your resume is literally right there. I haven't used snagajob in about 10 years and nothing has changed
