First two routes it chose were great, on the third then it took us through 23 miles of stop and go city traffic in our 40' DP with toad instead of the 4 lane route that would have landed us in the same place. Added an hour and a half to the trip.

Not ready for prime time...too many issues. Had me take wrong lanes several times, worst was GA into TN..advised me to take 2 left lanes...huge bottleneck in right two lanes so I was happy until signs said the opposite. Was not easy to maneuver 30 foot rv into stopped traffic. Other issues when I left rest area and was picking up speed to merge, it always told me "warning..exceeding speed limit". Good idea but needs work...I'm back to Google maps.

I really wanted to try this out. It seems like it may be useful. If I was given the opportunity to use it once or twice before purchasing I would have gladly spent money on it, well if it met my needs. Since I dont know if it will do what I want and I cant fully test it I feel my best option is to keep looking. I feel I wasted my time here. It was disturbing to take the time to set everything up then see a screen pop up and say pay $20 plus try it. $1 for 1 day or 1 use would be acceptable. Thx.

LOVE this app! Best one we've found. Excellent interface and extremely accurate. Really appreciate being able to see the weather along our route too..Great job developers..this ones a 5 star! We can definitely recommend SmartRVRoute 2 RV Navigation! Thank you!

Just subscribed for one month, after 48 hours, decided to go ahead and take the yearly route. While I was attempting to do that, the phone call dropped. I was speaking with Karen, who actually Called. Me. Back! Her customer service is exceptional and so far I have been really satisfied with the app, as well.

Tech support is rapid, very helpful, and patient with a new user. I mapped a route to a park we have previously visited. The route near the park has many hazards which Google Maps did not flag. SmartRVRoute showed the necessary route, thus avoiding all the problems.

Very disappointed with the navigation routing of this app, i may request my subscription payment back. This is our very first trip with it, and all was great so long as we stuck to the planned route. After 7 hours of driving, we looked for a place to fuel and rest for the night and selected a Flying-J at exit 77 off I-81. It routed us exiting at exit 80 and around a 6 mile loop to destination, only to realize we could have stayed on I-81 for another 3 miles to the next exit. Awful directions

I live on Vancouver Island which is only accessed by ferry. As a result when I try and find a route to a place off Island I get a message that "The route cannot be created". All other apps that I have used can accommodate the ferry. I have contacted support with no reply so far. Do not use this app if you suspect a ferry will be involved. NOTE: Support solved all the problems in a timely manner. I now recommend this app.

We used this app for a long trip to the Midwest. On multiple occasions it was delayed in updating causing us to mis turns leading us to go through multiple turns to get back on track. It also routed us through a path that is not RV friendly (I.E. over a lrg hill w/ sharp hair-pin, blind turns, etc.). Luckily we knew that and avoided that part and made it reroute us properly. Had we taken that route we would've blocked traffic and even could've caused a major accident on the blind hair-pin turns.

Paid for a year and this app was a life saver, directed us on a route that we could drive carefree. I also use waze with it to update road conditions and other issues with the road ahead that was not on this app. The multiple routes it gives you are great, so you can choose the way you prefer. It was worth paying for it and seemed to better then the trucker apps I was looking at.

I've been using this app for several years now..I love that I can set it to see rest areas and Walmart and gas stations..the only issue I have is the pic in pic takes you out of navigation if you get a call or text and you have to reset navigation..I now have turned off that feature. Otherwise it's a great app

The interface, routing, speed warnings, successfully avoids routes where my RV cannot go, and map display are all excellent. This is one of the best, if not the best (I've tested several paid apps) RV GPS apps for Android. The only difficulty I experienced was, I lost my route somehow in an area without a signal, as soon as the signal came back I was able to reroute. I have run for 30+ miles without data signal with no problems in navigation.

This app is awesome. My first time using it, and it gave us a new (better) route from our stay in Missouri back to Kansas. A better route than our vehicle gps gave us to get there. Previous to this I sed a different app, which seemed to have some nice features, but it would crash while opening about 75% of the time. None of that with this one. It's now my go to.

Works pretty well regarding which route to use, lots of features, but WAY too slow and really needs to integrate with the car's display (i.e. Android Auto). What is missing from this is a POI that will show not just Rest Areas but SERVICE PLAZAS on major highways - frustrating. Finally, the app restarts alot, which is not ideal when you need to know which way to turn and the app is busy restarting or rerouting. The speed of Google Maps is night and day compared to this app. Thanks.

App was working fine, then stopped. I spent the $50 for routing 3 months ago, now can't use it. Support is terrible! Sent me a link that doesn't work. They advertise an 800 number but it's disconnected & now they're ignoring emails. Don't spend any $$ here! UPDATE: Vendor did contact me & the issue has been resolved. UPDATE 2: I've now had a chance to use this newer version & while not perfect it does provide a great alternative to Google maps for RV'rs.

Took a bad review to get traction in correcting a problem with the activation of the new annual subscription. After it was thought to be resolved, it now shows the subscription expired last September. I'm getting a lot of pressure to drop the poor review, including holding back in resolving the issue. Not the greatest support. All of this could have been avoided had they not ignored my attempts to requesting help.

Just downloaded it to check out the interface. So far it seems more intuitive than CoPilot which I used all last year to navigate with my 30ft TT. Yes it does use Google Maps but when I plotted this year's first trip with it, it gave me an RV friendly route not the one that regular google maps gives. My questions to the developers would be: 1) Are there plans to integrate with Android Auto so I can get the directions on my truck's built-in display? 2) Are the maps and directions downloadable? I've not found that option yet but as RVers know, we are often in areas with no internet coverage.

Needs work. On my phone if it goes into pic in pic(like when I get a call) it doesn't continue seamless. I have to restart Navi. Also doesn't reroute well. On my tablet search doesn't work because I use my hot spot and it says intermittent connection. As an rv user, of course internet will be intermittent. Had to use Google maps yesterday. Just disappointed in the app for a paid app.

This app has a lot of features, is pretty easy to use and seems to produce accurate routes and realistic ETAs. The two biggest problem is that live traffic isn't used for route calculation and your route doesn't change based on traffic conditions. That's a big drawback. Not being able to download the maps for offline use is also a problem for many places where RVing is common in remote errors.
