To anyone reading this, please, please just go buy a universal remote from a store. Please I promise you all these ads are not worth it, especially when the first thing you see when you open the app is an ad. You can't even close it because it's part of the app and you actually have to navigate to the remote app from the built in ad. It's horrendous. Why is the front screen of the app an ad? I couldn't find where to connect my tv because of course, it's behind an ad. Why put your app BEHIND ads?

It was a great app because my 1 year old likes to hide remotes & I can't find where she stashes them. But, recently the center buttons don't want to work on anything except YouTube. Every other app I click from the remote the center buttons won't work. It makes no sense.

Very...annoying. it had a list of TVs and none of them had my TV. I have a SmartTv Hisense and it says Roku or Andriod Hisense and that's the only 2 options. I don't have a Roku or an Android. I just lost my controller and I want to watch Netflix. It had no convenient option for me.

Hate this app!! It sucks, it doesnt work right, i tried going onto apps on my tv, the arrows dont work, i click the button on the remote itself for netflix, it then stops working when i try to pause anything and now it wont even turn my tv on or off. Ive sent emails about it and nothing. Dont waste your time on this app, it sucks!!

This app works with my TCL ANDROID TV 40S330 series. I had to uninstall the android TV remote services update on my TV to get it working. Some people don't know that. I hope the developer can solve this problem because the remote service apps keeps updating then this app stops working. And please fix the mouse. It moves too slow. Lately it has not been working . It works for few seconds and no longer works.

it works pretty good. (Edit) I found a timer option in my phones app settings ill adjust it to see if it works. Why does it stop working after about 8 minutes? I have to close app and reconnect to use it. I'm not sure how to allow it to run in the background until I close app

Honestly this would have gotten a 5 star rating. Out of all the lg apps installed so far this is fantastic....... EXCEPT the apps panel is a text list of all apps. There is no way to sort it, no way to customize what I see, text instead of images. This part of the app is so bad that unfortunately I will hit uninstall and try the next one

other then the pop up ads on my cell b4 I even use it to turn on my TV ..then it's great. for some reason I'm not able to turn on my TV or control it at all with my remote control and I had an app a while ago it was different n I can't remember the name of it but this one definitely does the trick. For now it's perfect!!

The more I can use my phone to replace things in my life, the more easy dealing with certain aspects of my life. I love the fact that here is now another thing my phone can replace (remote controls) and that's one more thing I get to lose my temper over in an unnecessary way when i misplace my phone. tl;dr : -effectively turns phone into a universal remote for your tv! -works as it should, -still alive after download and use of app -not physically or emotionally taxing -Free! -NEVER SPOILS!!!

I payed for app only to have to use old remote to confirm Television connection every time I want to use it app. There is no ( one time only ) configuration .App asks every single time .I've enabled all permissions in app and Television has app permissions enabled too. So what is the point if I have to use old remote all the time.

I have Anytime TV and an Amazon Firestick. My regular remote can't control the Smartcast and the Smartcast can't control my Anytime TV & Firestick. I guess I'm going to have to call Vizio and get the directions to set my 32" Vizio TV back to factory default settings then download Anytime TV again. And I have to remember to unplug my Firestick while I set the TV back to factory default settings. Lol. That would be horrible if I strip the Amazon Firestick from all of its info.

Am giving 4 stars because it connected successful to my TV and all the functions are working but the main reason I downloaded the app was for typing purposes but because click one button at a time on the TV screen using the remote usually slow and annoying so if you can add keyboarding functionalities for faster typing whiles searching Netflix movies or any other search in your next update it will be much appreciated and you'll get my 5 stars 😜. Thanks

Initially it worked and then quickly it didn't. I was still in the need of remote using my smart phone for my RCA Android Smart TV so i kept looking. I found the comment regarding the upgrade and the fix. It worked for awhile and then it didn't, again. I read the info about the app and I saw the remark stating helpful customer service and by contacting via email. No email. Googled, no email. So are you guys for real or just like yanking my chain?

No idea why this app is rated so low, I downloaded and set it up within minutes for my LG Webos TV, it has some clever features and works like a charm every time, I like the quick access to the apps, don't even have to point my phone at the tv as its working through my router, might be nice to have different UI themes to choose from but hey, it's free!!

Works flawlessly, the remote is a bit slow in response maybe a second late at it's worst, and the voice command doesn't work on my tv however it's far better than most of its competition, other remotes just disconnect out of the blue. This one is quick easy to use, packed with features and just plain reliable. Edit:TV model is the Sony bravia

***Nice Update. Don't have to select devices again n again. Voice feature is great for my Android Tv.*** I have bèen using the universal IR remote app. This app is now really useful. I like the mouse n keyboard. Its easy to use. Sharing n casting media are good too. Its better to view videos n pictures on the TV. Its convenient to use than the normal tv remote (which i dont use since a long time). :)

Kind of works on 2021 Sharp Aquos, The only button that requires infra red is the on/off button, the rest of the buttons are Bluetooth, so the majority of people will need to turn the TV on maually. The app will then search for your TV and ask you to input the pin that will be displayed on the tv You can change channels. Use voice search (say "hdmi 2") Volume Pretty basic controls. The app drowns you with ads from the start. Even before you have set it up. Stressful.

Actually free (with some pop up adds, can't get away from that these days...), and works. Have a Westinghouse roku TV, and typed that in the search box, and it was the first and only option. Powered on, then I scanned for TV channels, and then went to Netflix (through the smart TV, not cast from phone). So, actually works. It didn't ask for and I didn't give any permissions, odd again...

Out of all the so called smart remote apps I've downloaded, this has been the only 1 that actually worked. And simple to operate. Free too, thank the lord. Being broke is all to familiar anymore. But im going to try to keep my outlook on life stay positive as long as possible. Hopefully until things turn around. But if not I hope to stay positive, at least until I die. Fingers crossed!

Only one of my TVs can use it. I have two Sony Bravia smart TVs. I can only add one at a time. When I try to add the second remote it just loads the other one instead of giving me the option for two Bravia remotes. I reached out to customer support and they talked around it and I never heard from them again. If you only need to control 1 TV or if you have different brand TVs then this app works great! If you have multiple of the same brand, only 1 TV will work at a time.
