I suggest using the Automate Pulse 2 app instead.

The hub worked for a few months and permanently disconnected.

Horrible connectivity. Bad app with bad hub equals wasted money. Horrible. Would NOT recommended.

This system does not work with 5Mhz spectrum at all. They don't give a damn about the customers, and don't intend to fix any part of it. I suggest you purchase different blinds.

Ever since announcement about version 3.0 it logs out. Please fix I hate to log in all the time. This isn't a bank account where we have to put in our username and password.

It seems to only get 20% of the commands (either manual or timer) now. The servers don't seem to keep a queue so missed timer events just never get executed instead of executed late.

I've been have connection issues with Google Home and Alexa for quite a while now. I've done everything you can think of. I finally found out I can link smart home collections and/or automate pulse 2 to SmartThings. Then link it to Google Home or Alexa and it works. There is a slight delay but its working. I would suggest to get Somfy blinds if anyone is looking to change their blinds or looking for new installations. Good luck everyone.

Does not link to Google, could not add the replacement hub they sent after the recall, had to revert back to old hub. The error I get when linking to google home is "Could not reach smart home collection".

No issues with setup via app once I moved the hub to increase the connection strength during paring. This appears to be a rebranded copy of the "RTEC Automation" app from manufacturer, Rowley. Your account transfers between apps automatically.

Terrible app experience, doesn't work with Google Home as advertised. Not clear how to set up automations, and when you do, they don't work either. This app is so bad it makes me regret purchasing the "smart" blinds at all. Waste of money.

This app looks and feels like it was built by an intern. It was difficult to even search for documentation or instructions online. The hardware itself only runs on 2.4g Wi-Fi. If you're thinking about buying these blinds for voice control or other WiFi features, think again.

Even worse now. Bootloop. The app does not fit the screen. The top is cut off so is very difficult to set up/use as all the top buttons - which are critical buttons - only have about a 2mm touch area. Managing settings going forward have the same issue. I found touching perpendicular (finger sideways) to the "button" rather than parallel is the only way to make it work.

Just got the blinds and hub installed yesterday. It did take several attempts to connect to the hub. Tip: The professional said you need to temporarily disable your firewall to pair the app. The app does not fit the screen: the top bar of the three bars is cut off from the image. I can no longer see the Edit button! Pissed!

Nevermind the poor quality of the app, has anyone managed to connect the hub at all? It literally won't let you proceed until you're connected to the hub's wifi, and then tell you it can't connect to the hub and asks if you're connected to the hub wifi. And the help section just takes you to the Budget Blinds website. Jeez...

Installed the app and learned it is not compatible with my wireless. It needs 2.4Ghz (outdated wifi standard). Was able to add hub, but cannot pair devices. In fact, pairing process broke the pre-configured setting on the remote for that blind. Now down arrow on remote causes blind to go up and vice versa. Have to call Budget Blinds for instructions on how to fix it. BTW, I'm in IT and this app is not intuitive at all! Beware.

It never works. Unreliable. Blinds do not charge. Buggy. Disappointing

Generally works pretty well. The hub timers will get out of sync over time, it must not have a very good internal clock? But they have a button to sync it in the hub settings of the app. This should be automatic really as our blind morning opening time will drift in the course of a few months if I haven't used the app in a while and synced it. Also, the timers really need a speed control "quiet mode" option so you can have them open slowly and make less noise as an early morning option.

Not sure why they changed the app to make it worse. Now to check battery status of the electric blinds have to hold on each shade, click the setting wheel and inspect each blind for battery level. They don't seem to be very accurate any more either. One day it'll say low, then next day it's ok and a different one will be bad. In the past you could see a percentage battery for each blind on the home page.
