Hard to use. Could not find a way to do pick up. Ended up calling to straighten things out. Shortly after that a message from Slice informed me the order was cancelled. I ordered the old fashion way, but lost use of my $8 promotion code. If I could give zero stars I would. Done with this app. It took three phone calls to straighten out the mess caused by Slice.

Great app, getting more local places by the day. Easy to use and save favorites. Only issue I've had is the app telling me my food will arrive by a certain time and 4/5 times no matter what restaurant, it will be an extra 20-45 minutes (on top of the 50-70 minute window they give you). I'd also love to see a search by what's on the menu, so I can find a place that has a specific food I'm looking for.

I historically have loved using the app. With the new changes made, something is terribly buggy. I tried to order last night and the app continued to freeze and crash while I was trying to search for the pizza resturant I wanted. I got annoyed and just had to order via the website version. That worked fine. But the app won't be used again until you all work out the bugs.

Still cost more than calling. I've ordered from the same pizza joint through the app and by phoning in an order for pickup. The app prices were higher for each item than when I phoned in the order. There may not be crazy fees, but the price of the pizza is increased. I will say, the app is super easy to use. Never had an issue with ordering through the app.

Didn't care for the experience. It defaults for delivery and not very intuitive to change to pickup. It defaults for a 15 percent tip. Don't care for that either. And once again, not the easy thing to change. You have to hit in just the right area to get an option to select your tip amount. Why would tip before I know what kind of service I'm going to receive? Ordering from Mountain Mike's, the staff is always confused. First can't find the order, then next can't tell if the order has been paid.

A lot of problems when encountering an order issue. I chatted 2 separate times about an order being messed up. Was told something doesn't come on an item when it was listed on the menu. Then that I wasn't charged for a selection I made, so nothing would be done for my messed up order. Second time, I just never got a response. Other apps I have used jack up the price, but when it comes to any messed up orders, they are on it. This one is not.

This app still needs a lot of development. It doesn't keep your place in the list of pizzarias if you click into a specific restaurant's menu, nor does it keep your current selection if you flip between apps to send a text or check email. It also provides no description of pies, so it's often impossible to tell us you're looking at a red pie or a white pie unless the restaurant sorted their menu that way.

Great idea, poorly implemented. You can type the actual name of the pizzeria you're searching for, and it will show up 12th on the list. If you try to input your address, it tries to "guess" the rest, and gets it way wrong. (For example, I had my address saved but needed to add in my apartment number. When I input my apartment number, the app changed the street, for some bizarre and inexplicable reason.) All told, it's clunky, freezes frequently, and seems designed to steer you toward chains.

Edit 8/31: doubling the order minimum to earn 1 "pizza point" is whack and is just driving to call in rather than use the app. UI has been improved. Reward points are great, $1 service fee is great. The app itself is terrible. Scrolling is glitchy and slow, and the fact that they show you restaurants that are closed and don't deliver to your address in your search is frustrating. App doesnt say a place won't deliver to you until after you place an order and go to the next screen.

Nice "chasing circle" emulator. Just a yellow circle chasing itself around with the "Slice" logo in the middle. As for the intended functionality of this app, I can't say, as it has never made it past the loading screen in the year or so I've tried to use it. It's fairly useless, but if you're into loading screens or just spinning rings, this could be the one for you.

This app is not a good experience. I used the app a couple times without issue but the 3rd time the business messed my order up (wrong toppings) and when I spoke to slice customer support they told me the resturaunt claims they always make the food with these toppings. I found this pretty strange, considering it asks you to choose your toppings when ordering and lists all of the default toppings. It's more expensive but I am going back to doordash.

Can save you money or get you delivery from places who otherwise do not deliver. The app itself is great. Easy to use, simple menus, order tracker, fun messages, lots of choices. Have used it at home as well as on vacay elsewhere. Would like ability to read the restaurant reviews in detail. Would like restaurants to be required to seal the food or bag shut.

I can not say just how much I enjoy this app! I find pizza places+ that deliver wherever I go. They also have order tracking and their customer service is excellent... right there when you need them. The one itty bitty thing... I eat for one so I don't typically spend the minimum to earn pizza "slices". (although I come close) But for as much as I use this app. I sure do spend a lot.. Regardless. I highly recommend this app. I tell my friends and family too!

I'm done with this app. Every time there is an issue. You get text notification that an order is out for delivery, but app says it's still in the kitchen. No location tracking for drivers like other apps, and vague large time windows for delivery leave you waiting for delivery that may be minutes away or an hour away. Notes for delivery are not passed on to drivers. My last order took over 15 minutes to even confirm it was received. The list of issues grows every time I use the Slice app.

Seems like it should be a nice app, lots of local stores. Unfortunately, the onboarding is broken on my device; first looping when I try to use the Google login. Then when I give up and make an account with my email, I give permission for location and it just spams me with "That's not right" in setting location and never lets me actually set the address. Oh well, web version works?

Terrible, avoid if possible. The app messed up my order and customer service was so rude and unhelpful. They refused to refund or credit the cost of my order which included a tip. The restaurant where I was supposed to pick up from told me that they have consistent issues with the app changing orders, pick up times , etc. Literally avoid this at all cost.

Worse customer service I think I have ever experienced. It made ordering pizza so inconvient. 3 agents just ended our chat without coming up with any sort of solutions. Another agent on the phone incorrectly handled my order with the restaurant. The driver used didn't pay attention to the directions. The app offered me no reimbusements for THEIR mistakes and tried to make it the restaurant's problem with no solution either. I never review apps, especially with bad reviews, but this has been BAD!

Every time we order with this app, when we add extra toppings, and this has happened REPEATEDLY on MULTIPLE accounts of people I know, there are 3 buttons, the left side, the ride side, and the whole pizza button. When you add the topping to the WHOLE pizza, after checkout, each topping is set to RIGHT SIDE ONLY, so you get a pizza with only toppings on the right side. I have to call the store every single time and correct it. I didn't catch it the first time, FIX YOUR APP ITS BEEN MONTHS!!!

App won't let me check out until I enter a pick up time, but it won't let me enter a time now. The pay button doesn't light up until I enter a time. Very frustrating to enter an entire order then not be able to complete it. Also, when the pizza place is running behind, the app doesn't send me the time update which makes me have to wait on my order once I arrive. Waste of time. I really can't think of a single food order app that works well or all the time. "Convenience" will be our downfall.

Great app, allows for accurate customization and fully contact less delivery. I usually order on the weekends and I don't need contactless delivery during that time but when I'm working during the week and I order I need there to be no interruptions, no doorbells ringing no phone calls because I'm dealing with work things. This app allows you to let your store know that hey just drop it off I'm here and we'll grab it. On top of that, it allows for fully customizing your meal.
