As a general rule, I think mobile gaming is trash. The touch screen isn't suited to most controls, the space is riddled with dark patterns, etc. Once in a great while a game comes along that is a fantastic game on its own, and would be fantastic on other platforms regardless. Slice and dice is one of those games. Probably worth 2 to 3 times it's price, I loved the hell out of this game.

3/26/2024-New patch hype!!! Lots of sweet adds for more replayability. This game is just a blast! The 8bit style art is appealing. The game is fresh and has a lot of replayability. Good amount of random element mixed with predictable strategy. Stable, no bugs so far. Very generous amount of play provided.

The 3 0 update is, mixed for me. There were some balancing choices that really subtract from the experience. This game is both a dice roller and a Rogue-like so you have the expected levels of random from both of those but then you get into various specifics such as classes, monsters, and items. Fully recommended but you've got to be ready for good runs to go very bad with no heads up due to a really bad roll of the dice.

Played 2 rounds of the demo and buying the full version. Rogue like mechanics which is easy to learn but actually has a ton of depth and strategy. If you love deck builders than this is a fresh take on a similar genre. Roll dice with abilities instead of drawing cards. Lots of classes that have different abilities, items that modify skills on the dice and ability to reroll to try and get better roll to suit the situation

Again, the devs did it! 3.0 is amazing, as always. But I do have a serious ask, we need an option to lock the display to landscape mode. The dices are way up top and very far away from the bottom in portrait mode. But when the game recover from pauses or tabbed out and back in, it always go back to portrait mode.

The only mobile phone game I need. As a gamer who's played video games on computers and consoles since 1990, I always found the mobile gaming sector uninspiring, tedious, and exploitative. Slice and Dice feels like a game made with a passion that defies everything wrong with the aforementioned; a throwback to when games offered good value centered around excellent core gameplay. The roguelike elements are very well balanced, and I don't imagine the gameplay becoming stale. Well worth the $9.00.

omg they added portrait mode. it's always been such a a pain to play this on the subway with one hand clutching a rail. very good game, you can play it without Internet, and once You're good enough at the main game you'll have time to explore what seems to be an endless pile of unlocks. plus it's been out for ages. id only reopened this recently and suddenly theres a big update? don't assume it's an old unsupported game I guess lol

Great base for a game so far, a bit overpriced at $7 as there isn't a lot of content yet. As others have pointed out, I wish there were more options for ranged moves/spells, as well as AoE. Other than that, the core gameplay is fun and engaging, and it's challenging enough to keep you on your toes. With a few good updates this will be a must-buy! Edit: There's been some fantastic content updates, and this is now easily one of the best strategy roguelikes on mobile!

I first grabbed the demo around two years ago. It didn't take long before I bought the full version. It's had two major updates since I first started playing and both were big improvements to the game and both added content. The replay value is extremely high on Slice and Dice. It's easily worth the $8 for the full version. This game can be as casual or as challenging as you choose it to be. Thank you Tann for the countless hours of entertainment and congrats on getting onto Steam!

Amazingly fun game, I can't put it down! It's really fun to play with different teams and see how the synergy plays out amongst them. I'm trying an all Housecat run, and the furthest I've gotten is level 15 on easy but the challenge has been so fun! My only gripe is that $10 is a little pricey for a mobile game, but with all the content you get it's a fair tradeoff IMO.

A game so nice i bought it twice! I tried it out the demo on steam initially and loved it. Bought the game and easily sunk 20+ hours in the first 3 days. My only complaint is that the first battle doesn't really explain things very well, but you do pick things up pretty fast. I would also like to be able to customize my starting team.

I dont have many paid mobile games, I play a lot more PC games than anything, and while this one is also available there, the full version on mobile is my favorite purchase on the app store. It lends itself really well to being picked up on the go for a moment, or to marathon several runs. and after getting more than my money's worth, i've still yet to be bored or feel like my party/equip combos have been too reptative. i can tell a lot of love was put into making this exactly what they wanted

It's chaos that only grows crazier with unlocks... But sometimes, you get to be the one to unleash the power of wild nonsense to defeat enemies. Fun fact, you can rename characters if you like. So you could stack up one character's stats and name him/her/it Fluffy the Destroyer or something. Also. Cats. :3 Now if only there were items that cause chaotic healthbars with randomizing perks/quirks. I like the more random effects best. Oh and Cantripped on good effects. It can get crazy powerful.

The game keeps getting better with every update. If you're looking for single-player, offline, turn-based strategy, this game is worth more than the price. Easy difficulty is great for beginners and Unfair difficulty gives experienced players a real challenge. There's even a community on Discord to share stories and strategies with. Other dice games can only dream of being this good.

The amount of enjoyment this game offers for $9 is amazing. Great mix of strategy and push your luck play. Super repayable thanks to enemies, heroes, and upgrades randomizing with each run. Different game modes to adjust the challenge you want. No micro transactions or forced adds. Hands down one of the best Android game experiences I have ever had.

This is the best mobile game I have ever played. Absolutely fantastic in all ways. Great gameplay with so much variations and challenges. It's got a premium version, and I'm just on the free version. But the free version doesn't come with the expected adds or even that many reminders to buy the premium. Best mobile game you can get for free.

Great game, play it all the time. I'm changing my rating from 5 to 4 because I am hostaging the last star. The last big update to the UI looks great and it's a step in the right direction. But it falls short because this game could easily be played with one hand by switching the upper panel dice rolling and the player and enemy panels on the bottom. So close to perfect but so far. I'll give the star back if we ever see that change.

Great rogue like with a simple but addictive gameplay loop that genuinely requires strategic planning on higher difficulties. Favorite thing about it is that it's fully free to play and I haven't seen a single ad. There is a premium mode that adds more game modes as well as other things but you don't need to buy it to have a good experience. Genuinely considering buying it assuming I don't lose interest in the game. But I highly recommend giving this game a shot, super fun and worth a download.

Dice building dungeon crawling rouge-like that's well worth it. The demo barely scratches the surface of what this game has to offer. It's simple and elegant, but there layers of complexity and variety of strategy combined with it's random generation make for a nearly infinite amount of replayability. If you like deck builders and D&D lite type games, this could be the best, possibly the last, game for you! I'm so addicted!

I paid for this ages ago, despite not really being one to pay for phone games and I have put countless hours into it. Fantastic game. I love all the fun little achievements and there are so many different game modes and characters and little fun dialogue pop-ups. Just a fabulous game for the price! And they keep updating with even more options! Easily the best game for its price. Don't hesitate to buy, 100% worth it!
