I absolutely love this app and wish I got it a long time ago. You can nit only add or subtract sounds, such as birds, rain, wind, but you can also adjust how loud or soft those sounds are independent of each other. I hope they add more sounds like different fan noises or a diner or bar background sounds, etc... I don't only use this for sleeping, I use it to drown out other people. It's great to help concentrate my mine.

I use this app daily. The sounds are much nicer quality than a lot of other apps I have tried. I especially love the distant thunder, brown noise, and large variety of rain and wind sounds. Something that would make the app even better, in my opinion, would be an option for individual sounds within one's custom mix to change volume at random (on their own), making it feel like one is moving through space.

I have downloaded about a dozen of these and I appreciate that not only is it actually free (no delayed paywall, no features disabled), but the sound clips loop well (many apps you can hear click, or gap). The interface is intuitive and helpful. The available sounds also plenty. Feature request: More Binaural Beats type sounds and features. The noise section is helpful but sparse. The ability to schedule/time a second preset to fade in would be cool.

My favorite part about this app is the SOFT rain sounds instead of those sharp, aggressive rain sounds in other apps! Plus so many different sounds you can mix to customize, AND you can adjust the volume of the app if you want to have something else playing at the same time, which I often do. I've tried other sound apps and this is my favorite by far

I love the fact that I have the ability to add a variety of different sounds together (like rain falling on roof, leaves, tent, umbrella, window, etc... and you can put heavy rain or light rain. And add other sounds like thunder, campfire, wind, birds, frogs, train, etc... to combine all the sounds you want. My favorite part is being able to adjust the volume of each thing bc for instance, I like when the birds are far away sounding and not right up by my ear do I always fade that sound a bit.

amazing app, unfortunately it has been randomly closing during the first hour or so of playback after turning the screen off. The entire app closes as if it was force stopped. DND being on doesn't make sense as a cause because I ran YouTube, Spotify, and another white noise app for months each in the background without issue. Your app is the only one that's closing. would appreciate this getting fixed as the sounds are really great :)

App is pretty good so far. A rather detailed setup and plenty of sound choices. Great idea for those who like to play their noises in the background of their daily everything as well. Update: Formerly 5 stars due to the same issue as other apps... PLEASE do not spam my bedtime/relaxation with ads. For the love of all that is peaceful, just don't do it. The app is literally perfect without them.

Great app. However it closes itself (crashes) a lot in the middle of the night or a couple hours into sleep. This is even with a timer set so it isn't that. I wear a headset so not having the sound wakes me up. It's frustrating. I love that I can personalize my own sounds though. It helps cover up my husband's snoring.

I really want to like this app, but it suddenly shuts off on its own at random times. Sometimes it stays on all through the night, other times the abrupt silence wakes me up. I don't have Do Not Disturb or Sleep Mode turned on, so that is not the problem. Whenever it happens and I get up to restart it, it looks like an ad was trying to load or something. It's been disappointing.

This app can't be used as a sleep sound for me because every single night, the app randomly quits. I have an Android phone and I have it set to "allow background usage" for this app. I don't experience this problem with other apps like Headspace. A lot of the sounds also need a lot of improvement. For example, sounds loop quickly and have a repeated click or beeping sound. I'll still use it for white noise while working but bummed I can't use it for its intended use.

This used to be my favorite app for sleep sounds, but lately it feels like it's way too ad heavy, too the point where it's frustrating to use. If I unlock my screen to adjust the mix or timer, I have to wait through an ad before I can access anything, every single time, andsome of the "close ad" buttons are difficult to spot, or small enough that they're tricky to hit without just opening the ad's link. Seriously considering switching.

I've tried a lot of free to use ambient sound apps and this one is a definitely a favorite. I'm impressed with the sound quality and the amount of playback customization. I love being able to adjust how prominent the app is with my phone's own volume. It makes combining the app with my music very easy. My only gripe (and this is absolutely unimportant and personal) is that there's no option for windchimes.

I rarely write reviews - but I have really come to love this app! I got this so I could have an unobtrusive sound playing to keep my noise canceling headphones active on a long flight. And I've been using it frequently ever since. Some highlights: 1. Ads are reasonable and don't compromise the functionality of the app. 2. Good variety and customizability, but the sound mixes are great for quick & easy use. 3. The sounds aren't obvious loops, but the variation isn't distracting.

Amazing App! I've had this for several months and have never had any issues with it. The sounds it comes with are great; sound like what they're supposed to sound like. Very reliable and helpful with providing peaceful sounds for sleep, to help dim my tinnitus, and to provide sounds that help cover every little squeak and bump in my home that would normally set my chihuahuas off into a barking frenzy. It is truly my favorite and most used app.

This is an unbeatable app. Being able to mix my own audio scenes, dynamic volume changing, the variety and quality of sounds, and the updates always adding more options have made this an indispensable part of my life whether I'm in need of a comforting scene to close my eyes and bring me away from the world or a motivating backtrack for my time glued to a computer for work. I plan on using the sounds for DnD sessions and as a less jarring timer for work around the house as well. One of the best!

One of the best as far as sounds and customization goes, but issues with the countdown timer make it a less-than-desirable app. Used it for years, no problems but within the last few months the issue with the timer started. Have had to switch to a more reliable app. Edit: in response to the developer reply, nah, I don't think so. No problems with any other app of any kind. This one is on you, not me.

Even after having made sure battery optimization/background restrictions are off for the app, it often just quits randomly (crashes). I don't have this problem with any other app that runs in the background (music player, screen time monitor, podcast app, etc). So pretty sure despite all the trying to blame it on my phone, it's a this app thing. Which is a shame because otherwise, it'd be a great app and I wouldn't have had to uninstall. As it is, it is honestly unusable (for me at least).
